Hotter Water Plumbing & Leak Detection

Jacob was a wiz at getting our old hot water heater removed and the new one installed! He offered a better price than any other plumber we reached out to, but you’d never know based in his work and professionalism. Highly recommend!!

Recently we noticed that our water bill was astronomically higher than usual. I began searching for a plumber who conducted leak detection testing. After looking at the reviews for Hotter Water and realizing they provided leak detection for free, me calling them was a no brainer! I can’t lie, I thought there was going to be some sort of hidden fees, but there wasn’t. Jacob came and had me walk him through our house and he found the issue. It was a running toilet in our daughters’ bathroom. He said the level was set incorrectly. He actually fixed it and said have a nice day! I am so glad there are still honest people out there! I will definitely use them in the future, and I suggest you do the same if you want great customer service!

when i got my first high water bill didnt think anything but when i got my second one i knew something was wrong so i contacted jacob he came the same day found the source of the leak which was the hot water heater gave me. excellent price put me on the schedule came today and got it done best in the business i would recommend Hotter Water 💧 to having a plumbing problem

EDIT: This company's response is absolutely ridiculous and insulting. I reviewed the texts. My "special requests" were offering two location options to mount it on the side of my house, informing him that we need to be careful about where the pipes are run through the side of the house due to its construction (and that I would handle that), informing him that I would already have the water lines stubbed out and a GFCI outlet available (as I was already having plumbing/electrical work done for a bathroom remodel). Are you serious? Coordinating with a plumber to determine mounting location and planning for water/electrical is not "special requests" -- it is part of doing the job. Regardless, I received ZERO texts complaining about these "special requests" and instead just a text saying they have a new contract and can't do my job. Jacob evidently lied to me and he continues that with his dishonest, misleading reply. Boo hoo that I needed to work around a pillar/beam house structure carefully. Boo hoo that all you had to do was run a gas line. Boo hoo that you had to read a few text messages so I could prepare the mounting location. I had ZERO problem coordinating with the second plumber. God forbid you work with a customer to get a job done in such a way that the building structure is not weakened by drilling holes in a support beam in the wrong places! Good lord... ORIGINAL REVIEW: Won a water heater through the gas company. Hotter Water was their contractor. Guy came to my house to do an estimate to provide to the gas company. We decided on going for an outside model. Told the guy, since I have a bathroom gutted and have plumbing getting done, I'd have the plumbing run to where the water heater will mount but he'd have to run the gas line through the crawlspace. We talked about using CSST vs Black Iron -- they were going to use CSST. Don't care, just wanted it to be grounded properly. Seemed like everything was agreed upon. Ultimately agreed to estimate. Waited, waited, waited. Finally find out after a couple follow ups that I'm now just small potatoes to them and they have a new contract and no longer will install the water heater. So now I have to go to the gas company, tell them to send another plumber because they won't just let me install it despite me being capable... whatever. So ultimately, a process that should have taken a few weeks took 2-months or so total because Hotter Water wouldn't honor their contract with the gas company and the signed estimate with me. I don't know if they got a new contract or not. I suspect they are really just another in the long line of contractors that don't want to crawl around a crawlspace to do what they have to do. Look, if y'all get a new contract, great. Honor the ones you still have. A signed estimate is a contract for work in the trades with any respectable company. If you're going to renege, tell me immediately, not after multiple follow-ups. And, honestly, you didn't leave a great reputation with the gas company either. They weren't happy. You created more work for me AND the gas company just because you couldn't spend a couple hours at my house to mount and hook up a tankless water heater (which would already have had the water lines run making your job so much easier). Perhaps y'all do great work. I'll never know and neither will anyone in my circle (a dozen people who buy and remodel homes ) because you'll never be an option as a result of this.

Jacob who owns this company is efficient and fast in repair, however I would like to warn that he has become overly pricy. Also he wouldn’t consider any discount for recurring customers either. We had him second time. First time he spent 2 hrs repairing leak , charged us close to 450.00 in 2023 whereas second time he spent less then 1 hr fixing leak that he fixed in 2023 and charged us close to $1000.00 (776.19) . He didn’t even have to find a leak. We found a leak, dug the ground, he came in and fixed it. I don’t believe it was a fair price for the job he did. Plumbing issues are stressful and plumbers know that customers needed it be fixed urgently so they know that customers are going to agree to pay what is being asked. But come on even doctors and lawyers don’t change as much as plumbers and HVAC companies charges nowadays. This time we were disappointed for sure!!

Absolutely the best in the business! Can’t say enough good things about Jacob and his company. Did an all around fantastic job replacing our water heater, replacing a poorly installed pressure valve and moving our main water line for easier accessibility. Even took some time during the free estimate to give us peace of mind about a toilet issue we thought we were having. Jacob’s communication is superb! Made the estimates easy to follow and pay. He was very considerate of our time and circumstances. Went out of his way to accommodate our challenging schedule, answer any questions and communicate everything effectively. Punctual, trustworthy and responsive. His work is very clean and to code and it’s clear he takes pride in doing things not only right, but pristinely. Zero cutting corners. Zero headaches. In a competitive field where you have a lot of options - you cannot go wrong hiring Jacob! I’d give him and his company 10 stars if I could and highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing or water heater work done!

I had a fantastic experience with Hotter Water when they installed my new hot water heater. Jacob and Nolan were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. Their communication was excellent, keeping me informed every step of the way, and I truly appreciated their transparency throughout the process. Jacob is amazing!!! I have used this company several times to install tankless systems, new hot water heater for personal and rental properties. Anytime I have a plumbing issue I call Hotter Water Plumbing because Jacob is honest and has always given me the best advice. The prices has always been reasonable and this is my go to company. After Jacob installed a tankless system for me, there was a safety issue that was discovered by the manufacturer, he notified me to let me know that he wanted to make some adjustments based on the information he received. Free of charge. He goes above and beyond to ensure his clients have a great experience and that he is looking out for their best interest. I appreciate all he does!

We had a bad leak in our water heater and called Hotter Water. We spoke with Jacob and explained our problem of which he stated, send me photos of the tank, water supply lines and gas line to the tank. Jacob provided us a quote in which we told him that we were good with it. It was a very reasonable price. Jacob said he would be at our house between 3 and 5. Jacob and Nolon showed up at 2:50 and commenced to work. Jacob explained everything they were doing, and since our old tank was 21 years old, we were not up to code, and he explained all that was needed. I highly recommend Jacob and Hotter Water. I was really impressed with not only them arriving early, but also their knowledge.

This company is wonderful. Jacob was very patient and knowledgeable about his job. Some of the plumbing issues in my house were not disclosed when I purchased my house which made it difficult to find leaks, know the type of pipes underneath my slab, etc. He explained everything from the materials, the process, time, etc. He was able to repair everything in a timely manner & at a fair price. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and puts himself in their shoes. Him and Nolan did a great job repairing the leaks and installing a brand new water heater. I am very happy with the customer service and the quality of work. I will be contacting them for upcoming projects!

This has to be one of the best company’s that I have ever came across Jacob is the best . He gave my wife and I several different opinions with purchasing a new water heater which was a plus. Jacob was great from the beginning of the process to the end . Customer service is outstanding and Jacob did an excellent job . Let me just start off to say I will be calling back for any feature plumbing needs. Jacob and his team were very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I’m so thankful I found them online. I had another company that informed me I needed to replace my hot water heater with an expensive price. Jacob and his team said otherwise and replaced what was needed to be replaced or added. I mean everything is so neat and nicely done. He even created me a main valve switch to my house thats more convenient, in case of an emergency. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
