Had a fantastic experience with Christopher and Ken with the diagnosis, removal and replacement of my electric water heater. My problem was an outdated, rusted-through 80gal water heater that had leaked through, shorting the power switch off, and was continuing to leak into my garage. The solution was the complete replacement of the water heater (with a 50gal + expansion tank), the cold water shut-off valve, and metal stand to bring everything up to code. Both guys were friendly, professional, and extremely patient with explaining the process before and after the job was completed. Christopher expressed not wanting to leave me without hot water for much longer and was able to work me in to their busy day which I appreciate so much. These guys are dedicated to providing their customers with a positive experience through their hard work and skill. Shout out to Christopher and Ken! Herdman was our last final call of help so late in the day to get same day service for a water kitchen sink pipe leaking. Our mediation/restoration company: Poseidon Restoration (AWESOME company!) removed our kitchen cabinet and found a screw through the water pipe, from years of the cabinet being nailed to the wall. After the cabinetry removal water sprayed everywhere from the hole in the pipe, causing our whole house to be on shut down of any water. Herdman had Christopher come out and help during our emergency water leak. From scheduling on the phone and time of service Herdman was very professional, helpful, and understanding. We would have been without any water until the next business morning with other local plumbing companies. Herdman made time for us and understood our need to keep the water on and get our pipe fixed for our family to use water for after school/evening time. Christopher went above and beyond helping us and checking out another issue we were having. He did a clean, thorough, quick, efficient job of restoring our pipe to working order and getting our washer back to working! Miraculous service in our emergency time of need!! Not sure on price comparison, but discount was helpful, and service was above and beyond. Would not hesitate to call this plumbing company again, when local competitors were booked/unable to respond to our location. Jim and Christian were so professional, dedicated to detail and clear communication. I couldn’t be happier with the installation they did of my whole home water filtration system. They also replaced old plumbing under my kitchen sink and brought the water heater up to code. They worked a long day and said they enjoyed the challenge! I am completely amazed of level of service and pricing I received for all of the work that was done for my home. Out of 5 quotes I received from local plumbing companies Herdman came to the top of the list without a question. Even some “company” that I had I professional working relationship with for many years came in nearly $1k over Herdman plumbings estimate for less amount of work. (Cough!!…Westsound…plumbing…cough!!!!) Brett came out same day that I called, no charge to come out and give an estimate. Insane how swift plumbing charges $120 just to get an estimate?!?! Anyways, I’m very pleased with how professional and quickly Brett and Chris did the work in my home. Not going with any other plumber or plumbing company moving forward.
