Heidler takes careof the plumbing and fireplace maintenance at our home. Their service and their staff are 150%…professional, , prompt and pleasant. They always have provided me with the highest quality and the greatest reliability. I actually use them as my standard when evaluating other vendors for other types of services. They have to meet my Heidler criteria to work for me. I recommend Heidler with no reservation and my highest endorsement.
Heidler came out to evaluate an issue with our hot water heater. The technician (Tom) did a thorough investigation and found the likely culprit promptly followed by an estimate to address the problem. We have used this company to address almost al of the plumbing and/or heating/cooling issues in our home and we have never been disappointed First rate company that we highly recommend.
Phillip was excellent and explained everything thoroughly. We had an issue with our toilet that had a root cause more involved than a simple repair, but at each step of investigating the issue, Phillip explained what was going on and what would happen next. He showed me where things were broken, why they broke, and what that meant. He was very courteous and polite. Our toilet ended up needing a new flange in the concrete floor, but now it is sturdy and sealed and we feel really good about getting this service from Heidler.
Edit 2: Changed rating to 4 stars. Heilder corrected all the issues from their initial water line installation. The work this time around was done correctly and there are no issues. It is unfortunate that they had to come out a second time to complete the job. The last four pictures of this post show the completed work. Edit 1: Company owner called me this morning to come up with a resolution. It was a very good conversation. I choose Heidler based off other customers who said they had an excellent experience. I had the complete opposite experience. I called customer service within 10 minutes of the job being completed to explain my disappointment with the work. I was told that I would receive a call back, but no one has called. The project was to install a water line to the fridge. Pic one shows how the plumber installed the line making the cabinet space unusable. The 2nd, 7th and 8th pic shows the copper water line against the main electrical line. The copper is being pushed in the wood due to tension from electrical line. Does this even meet code and is this safe?? Pics 3 and 4 show behind the fridge. The way the line was placed, it is unclear how to even fix the dry wall as the copper pulls when the fridge is pulled out. Finally, somehow they damage and dented a lid that was on the counter and never said anything (pic 6, 7). This looks like an amateur completed this, not a professional company. It cost almost 800 dollars for this work.
After weeks of a stubborn kitchen sink that refused to drain, even after I’d snaked it 25 feet myself, I finally called in the pros — and Heidler proved exactly why they have the reputation they do. Dave showed up on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and fixed what I couldn’t in no time. What really stood out was his honesty: even though the original quote was for a hydrojet service, he said confidently that a proper snaking would solve the problem — and it did, for about half the cost. The water now flows perfectly with no backing up, and he even installed a cleanout access for easier maintenance in the future. It’s refreshing to find a company that values doing the right job over the most expensive one. Thank you, Dave and the team at Heidler — five stars and genuine appreciation.
