Excellent service. I was referred to them by my friend. I couldn't of been more pleased and at ease. Everyone I spoke with at Hartwig were kind and courteous. Thank you Todd, Mike and Matt for your help! Matt installed my furnace and answered all my questions. He did an awesome job! One of your drivers just straight up ran a red light in downtown west Dundee just now. And then when I passed him I saw he was on his phone. Please tell your drivers to be safe, as some of us have precious cargo (kids) in our vehicles.
Hopefully you do better work than your team drives. Plate number 3750157 thinks he’s in a race van. Not a very good impression for a business. After going through the other reviews I just had to edit. Do you actually verify drivers licenses??
If your company’s work is anything like the behavior of your drivers, I wouldn’t trust you to paint a fence, let alone handle a professional job. Absolutely disgraceful that someone representing your business drives like a maniac, tailgating and endangering others on the road. A quick look at your reviews shows years of the same complaints so clearly this isn’t an isolated issue, it’s a company problem. Either you condone this reckless behavior, or your drivers are out of control. Either way, it’s unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. If your team is in that much of a rush, maybe they should sign up for DoorDash instead. Do better, though based on your track record, I won’t be holding my breath.
So Hartwig screws up basic scheduling, forcing me to take a day off work for nothing and costing me a day's wages. Scheduler naturally doesn't cop to it, claims she meant she would *call* me on the day I'd scheduled. Because apparently people schedule phone calls two weeks in advance? Then in an utterly genius move, her boss refuses to compensate me for my wasted time in the form of a discount, instead opting to lose potentially thousands of dollars by losing a customer with an expensive appliance that needs regular maintenance. Needless to say, I'm no longer a Hartwig customer. Buyer beware with these guys.

Today I had one of their drivers fly around me to beat a train through crossing arms into oncoming traffic. Stopping feet from the moving train he quickly slammed on the brakes and reverse backwards almost into another car trying the same thing. Further up the street the same driver passed a school bus sitting with its flashing lights on unloading children. His plate number is in the picture I posted and will be reporting him to authorities.
Excellent service and technically up to any job. This is a professional group capable of very large projects with attention to the small details as well. Working in both the public and private sector, Hartwig P&H is competitive with pricing and able to coordinate difficult construction schedules. Give them an opportunity ..... you won't be disappointed.
Yesterday we had a hot water heater installed by Hartwig Plumbing & Heating. We were very pleased. Prior to installing they came out and had given us a written estimate on the work to be done. Yesterday a nice young man named Casey arrived at 7:30am & immediately went to work. Worked quickly, quietly & efficiently. Thanks Casey & Hartwig, your great!
I had a pipe burst in my basement and was given the recommendation to call Hartwig to help. Not only did they respond with a tech at my house within an hour, but he did the work so quickly and clean. He was very kind and helpful. They made a very stressful situation feel calm and easy. I'm grateful for their work.
Yesterday we had our new hot water heater installed. Perfect 🥰! We have had Hartwig come out for several jobs. We have been remiss in complimenting them on their services. Each time has been a job well done....we will definitely call them again & refer them to others. Thank you.
Hartwig installed my irrigation valve inJune 2023. I called to make an appointment for yearly inspection June 2024. Made 3 different calls on 3 different days, never a call back. Apparently can’t take care of repeat customers. Very poor service. Would not recommend, sorry
Just had Hartwig come out and repair our furnace. Needed a board and it was too late to get one yesterday. Both techs, Cesar and Pat were very knowledgeable. We’ve used Hartwig’s services for years. This is a good HVAC company to do business with.
