Chris Childress from Frank Gay Plumbing was amazing. Very professional and pleasant. Estimate was done on the first day and was repaired the following Monday. Looks great! Now I have hot water for the laundry, (only had cold due to the leak,) and no leakage! Thanks Chris! 😁 And drywall fix will be scheduled for tomorrow.
Hector & Anderson came to install a new HVAC system for my home. Very respectful, and ON TIME. Very organized and clean. They left the place good enough for me not to even think about touching anything. The system worked perfect and super silent. I almost wanted to replace the stand where the old system was, but they did such a good job they left it good as new. Thak you so much
We requested somebody to come look at troubleshooting our tankless water heater. He was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. After presenting all of the options we ended up scheduling for an upgraded installation a couple of days later. We had the same person for the install. We are 100% happy with the work that he did and the communication process through Frank Gay Services!
We called Frank Gay for Plumbing services. They sent a technician next day, which was appreciated. We knew exactly what we needed. We had replaced our fridge and the water connection wasn’t tying properly to the water hose so it needed to be replaced. We are not plumbers so we let “the expert” do the inspection. One hour later he provides a quote of $8,000 alleging our home needs all kinds of repairs. Mind you our home was build in 2019. My husband specified we ONLY needed the broken piece replaced and he provided a quote of $1,300 (can buy me another fridge for this price). He alleged even drywall work needed to be done because the whole thing supposedly needed to be replaced. We paid the $39 visit fee and decided to call a local plumber. This technician came in, told us what the fridge installers told us, which is one piece needed to be replaced. 20 minutes and $75 later our fridge water dispenser is up and running with a metal replacement (not just plastic). Added photos of the before (red circle on the piece that needed to be replaced and showing the whole area Frank Gay technician wanted to “fix”. The after photo with the metal replacement and the hose already connected. Bottom line: If you want to spend thousands of dollars in repairs you don’t need, by all means, call Frank Gay.
Frank Gay came yesterday for a burst pipe issue. I was up-sold a water softening system for the house that required electrical work in the form of an electrical outlet and tapping inyo the the outside electrical panel. The electrical work alone was $600++ . I went out this morning and noted the outlet they installed lid does not close bec a use the wiring frim the water softner plug is in the way. Becausr of the wire in the way of it closing the electrical outlet is open to allow in water when it rains. The cover is not going to seal properly or be water proof and does not lock. I called customer service this morning. I told them the electrical outlet needs to be up to current standards of weather proof water proof and that can be locked. That I don't want an outlet that will not be a fire hazard to my home. I am paying them around $4000 for this job and want it done right. She said it will be $39 for them to come out today and look at the outlet and if not covered by the warranty there will be additional charges. I asked to speak to a manager and was told unavailable. No one has called me back. I checked with the City Of Deltona and no permit was pulled for the water softener neither the electrical. What happened to good customer service that addresses the concerns of the customer and where customer satisfaction still means something? The young man who told the story about Greencove Springs returned to "fix" the problem today 11-21-25. Once again you are holding the checks and balances alongside me, Mr. G. Thank you. I have updated my rating to 3 stars as the electrical outlet cover now closes and subsequent follow up from customer service in Daytona Beach. Hopefully there will be no further issues. As another update. Since I have put in the water softner my electrical bill has increased around $100 per month. This is a hefty price to pay for ring around the toilet. Further more, in my opinion if the sales men they are sending out to our homes to up-sell, are working on commission this should be declared in writing prior to said sale to the home owner as it seems like there might be a conflict of interest at play here. In my case I was not informed upfront what water softening company they are affiliated with and with the option of choosing another brand.
