Excellent service, knowledgeable staff.... Steve from Sarasota office was awesome. Prices were reasonable and he came within 24 hours.
We have used everyday plumber's twice now and both visits were very successful. Their workers are exceptionally courteous, punctual and hardworking. The most recent visit Rob worked for over 10 hours with only one break. We told him that he could come back another time or take a longer dinner break but he was determined to finish the job. Their prices are very reasonable and I would recommend their services to everyone.
I'm located in Clearwater, I needed my toilet replaced, I called EverydayPlumber, they did a wonderful job, I highly recommend using them. Quality work, great prices, Ryan B was a great plumber to have. Thank you
I had a galvanized pipe going out of my hot water heater start leaking. My husband was out of town so I had to call a plumber. Everyday Plumber came out the next day. Service man was an hour late past the appointment window. Right away he wanted to sell me a new water heater to the tune of $1400. (He said regarding my propane gas water heater: "oh, those are very expensive"). I questioned why i needed a new one because the tank is only around 5 years old. He said if he tried to repair the pipe, he was positive that the pipe was also corroded inside the tank and it would just break off, forcing me to replace the tank anyway. I opted for the temporary solution of a rubber " boot" for $150 while I could "save up for a new water heater." This consisted of a cut piece of foam rubber hose fastened with a metal clamp. Maybe $2 worth of supplies. It held the leak long enough until my husband returned home a week later and replaced BOTH pipes (incoming and outgoing water) for probably $20.
Total ripoff. This company will not quote prices on the telephone because they charge people according to what their service techs think they can get from people in a tough spot. I wish I had checked the Yelp reviews of this company before using their services. I will never use them again.
I wish I had something positive to say but there's nothing. Literally I have never met an owner so dishonest and deceptive is DISGUSTING!!! Our initial re-pipe of our home was fine for the most part. When it came time to install our bathroom we ran into major issues. The team arrived and took 2 hours to install our tub faucet and shower head. We have an unusual faucet so we didn't think much of it. The team took a lunch break returned around 1:30 only to spend two hours sitting in their van on their phones. They came in once or twice mentioned they needed to figure out the sink pipes but didn't mention any other issues. When 4pm came to leave we still had no toilet installed and no sink. (Mind you we had company coming that weekend and we have 1 bathroom in our home- HUGE issue) the worker wanted to bill us for 10am-4pm - 6 hours of work at $134 an hour!!!!! my husband argued about how they sat in their car so they comped 1 hour. BTW in case you your wondering we paid for their 1.5 break!!!!! Yea we paid $200 for them to take their lunch break AND we paid for them to sit in their Van. When we brought up the sitting in the van he explained they where trouble shooting the issue of the sink. Sooooo here is the big issue they installed 3/4 pipes into our wall (that was now tiled) when we have 1/2" sink mount. THIS WAS THEIR ERROR!!!! We had the faucet present at the re-pipe installation. Our GC literally told them the parts they needed to adapt the two together and yet they sat in their van rather than going to the store to get the parts!!! They explained that the reason they couldn't install the toilet was because they didn't have the "upunor" (pex-a) tool to install it. IM SORRY!!! BUT WHAT PROFESSIONAL SHOWS UP TO A JOB WITHOUT THE TOOLS TO COMPLETE IT AND THEN BILLS YOU HOURLY!!!??? The toilet was present at the re-pipe so they had ZERO excuse for it not being prepared. This is the shadiest business we have ever worked with. So when my husband finally spoke to a area manage he apologized and came Saturday morning to install our toilet at no cost. That we greatly apupreciated. NOW to deal with the wrong pipes in the wall. My husband spoke to the owner who proceeded to yell at my him telling him we needed to pay them hourly to swap the pipes that they installed incorrectly!!! So we not have to pay more to fix the issue that they did wrong. At this point we're almost wondering if they installed the wrong pipes to bill more hours?!?! Most well run businesses will take ownership of their issue and correct it at no cost to the customer (since they are the ones who made the error) but not this company. THE OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHADY INDIVIDUAL WE OR OUR GC HAS EVER WINTNESSED. let me recap... - wrong size pipes installed but won't take ownership to fix and wants to pay for forchis error - showed up to the job WITHOUT the tools to complete the job - bills hourly for their lunch break - sits in their van while still billing you hourly to "trouble shoot" their issue - which is really an easy fix - also they didn't remove our cast iron pipe which was part of our job bib so GC did it for us... we didn't even make an issue of this but our GC billed us for an hour of labor to do it. When I called to speak to the owner he was mysteriously on vacation literally 20 minutes after my husband got off the phone with him on Thursday. I explained to his receptionist to give him a message that I felt homeowners needed to aware of this and I would gladly share my experience if he wasn't willing to make it right. Oh and fast forward a week and half their team did not allow enough room on the pipes for "escutcheons" so we now can't pass inspections! So here it my review. Because he never made the job right. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Please save yourself the headache and the frustration of working with this company and find someone else.
I feel like an absolute idiot for calling these guys. I should have read more reviews, but we had a clog that was backing up into the house and I was desperate. Please be careful if you hire them. I say this as someone who has many family members who own their own small businesses; I understand the ramifications of a bad review and am not doing this out of malice. I called Everday Plumber out of desperation. The woman on the phone was SOOO NICE. She made me feel so much better. The technician who showed up was SOOO professional and kind (well dressed, presented his business card and introduced himself, apologized for running late). But then...then he diagnosed "the problem" within 30 seconds of walking in the door - without even looking at the bathroom or the sewer cleanout. The problem, he said, was obviously that I live in an older house (apparent by the neighborhood) and that I MUST have old cast iron pipes. Five minutes after I gave the tech permission to snake the sewer line, he came in and told me that he had called the owner of the company to come over with a camera so they could see what the lines looked like. The owner showed up (again, seemed very professional) and quickly started to tell me all the many problems I had with my old pipes. Upon my husband's arrival, the owner told him that we had "bellies in the line" and that we shouldn't even think about putting toilet paper down our toilets because we'll have clogs backing up every couple of weeks. He wanted us to sign a contract for $250 to allow them to figure out all the ways in which they would have to re-route our entire plumbing (not just the main sewer line). He then told us that once they identified that, it would cost upwards of $14,000 to complete the work. He kept telling us how this was the only solution and he quickly became condescending and insulting, telling us that he wanted to "educate" us. We asked him and tech to leave three times before they were both gone - to the tune of $250 (that was the rate for the 1 hour and snaking the drain on the ground). The plumber I SHOULD have called - who did right by me last time - came over today, inspected things, and said that everything is fine and there is no need to re-route sewer lines or anything else. He also said that Everyday Plumber was clearly trying to sell us on a job that was unnecessary. And just today I looked at Everyday Plumber's Facebook page and see tons of pictures of them digging up the yards and bathrooms of other people who fell for smooth talkings of the owner.
Do not use Everyday Plumbers! Everyday plumbers took advantage of me. They charged me $1300 to change a shower handle and broke my drain/shoe while they were working. They told me it was my old plumbing and wasn't their fault. I begged and pleaded and they still insisted I pay for the services that were done. Being upset and stressed I just paid them. Turns out they charge $198 per hour!! They did say they would have to take the tub out to fix the shoe but they would take $600 off the price. ($2800-600=$2200). They would also break the tiles and I would have to have a contractor come and re do the tiles. This was going to be well into the $3000 range on top of the $1300 I already paid! I got a lot of advice and a bunch of estimates to fix the drain/shoe and everyone told me I was ripped off by this company. That they should have fixed it or given me a huge discount off the $1300. Bath Fitters are the ones I am using to re do my tub. They were the best price! Very honest and shocked by what I paid. They are cutting the tub to fix the shoe and placing a tub fitter over the existing tub and it has a lifetime warranty! Way less than what everyday plumbers wanted to charge me to fix what they broke!! I want to warn people about Everyday plumbers. Several other contractors and plumbers said that job should never have cost $1300! Also I would like to stress that the only reason I used them is because the HOA recommended them and they assured me they knew about the old plumbing there. Every day plumbers also told me this rarely ever happens. So if it rarely ever happens why didn't they make it right with me? I deserve better treatment than this. Don't make the mistake I did. Go with another company!!!
My 93 year old grandmother got a brand new water heater because the one she had stopped working. I called manufacturer company rheem who told me to go on their site and look for businesses they support to come out and check it. So I did that. On their website first business that came up was everyday plumbing. Called them they said they would come out and check it after I explained the issue. They charged about $160 for diagnostic and sent someone that did not know what he was doing when originally explained the issue to them over the phone on the initial call and they said they can handle it. Turns out the guy knew maybe a little of water heaters and nothing else. Didn't fix the problem of no hot water coming out and left. He didn't do anything. Asked manager to call back left message for him and he never called back. Had to call 3 times to get finally someone on the phone and they told me sorry there was nothing the could do. These guys are a rip off. I gave them an opportunity to fix the issue but instead they took my money and ran. Don't trust these guys. I don't like to say things negative if I don't have to but these guys are a joke of a company. If they treat every customer like me they will be soon out of business. I work for customer service and I promise I will tell everyone I know with plumbing needs to go elsewhere. If I treated customers the way they treated me I would be out of a position at the company. Run as fast you can save your money for a really plumber and not some rink a dink plumbing company that wears a uniform to say they got a job and don't know crap. They are lucky they got a star from me. To be honest if I could I wouldn't give them any stars.
I had a great experience with this company until they showed up. Greeted well when I called, appropriate appointment time, they called before coming and showed up on time. However VERY DISAPPOINTED within minutes of their arrival. After quickly assessing the situation of my bathroom standard size drain - the plumber stated that he did not have the standard size 1 1/2 inch straight PVC pipe or the slow sweep standard size curve pipe that he needed. He suggested coming back later in the week when he might have the pvc on his truck, even though I had cancelled work for that afternoon and driven 21 miles home for this appt. otherwise he "would have to charge me a $55 fee for getting the materials in addtion to the labor/service call. When I told him that I told them when I called what he would be servicing my standard bathroom drain and he should have had them on his truck he said "well you can't have everything on your truck." I could understand this if it was a special pipe or fitting but this was standard stuff and I had alerted them what they would be fixing. He went 2.8 miles to get the pvc and truly did add $55 to my bill for it. I paid it telling myself that I would call the office later. So I called the office later and explained that this was absurd not to have this standard stuff on the truck and I had told them what they would be working on. The office person cooly stated that basically that yea, that is the way we roll. NEVER NEVER EVER using these people again. That is a stupid money making scheme that is way over priced. I will inquire about this the next time I need a plumber.
Ryan and Walter where amazing again! They are simply the best. We love Everyday Plumber! called several different plumbing companies and I found this company to be the most respectful and attentive. The initial reception was great. The young lady that answered the phone was sweet, polite and very professional. She answered all my questions and kept her promise to send me an experienced plumber who works well with copper plumbing! Now for the plumber they sent: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 a total of 5 STARS plus an extra star! Ryan Chapman was our plumber. He called before arrival, showed up on time in uniform and in a professional marked Everday Plumbers truck. He had a clip board and was ready to go. Ryan walked the house, listened to my needs and had answers for all my questions and situations! Ryan gave me a written proposal on the spot explaining everything he was going to do! Since we are in the middle of a renovation, he did half the work on the spot and will finish next week. Ryan is a professional plumber with a great deal of experience. . He finished 6 different things today, tested all his work and finished promptly cleaning up afterwards. I am so happy with Everday Plumbers! I highly recommend the and please ask for Ryan... He is there star 🌟 plumber! Thank you Ryan! Doug and Lauren Tampa, Florida
The company was on time. I recently bought a condo. I believe a lighter or pen or something of that nature is clogging the pipes it a 886 square feet, my fault ...fine i have maybe five drains. in this small condo. The whole floor flooded not tooo bad. which is my kitchen and 1/2 bath. I was told my pipes went out to the street when they did not ...(IMPORTANT PLUMBERS ), drains to where i parked which is total opposite direction. First kid Pulled my toilet put out a snake down it 670.00 and took him maybe 40 minutes. fine ... three days later same problem. I put the toilet in 9 months ago cost me 200-250 caulking maybe 10 dollars and did sheet rock vanity 650. they charged me 700 to pull on toilet and use one snake. the kid was young... he should of snaked all the drains and not charged me that. Fine invited them back they wanted to charge another 300.00 for a camera inspection. After my second flooding... ummm no! tampa has old plumbing... pull a toiet after snaking every drain and i have four.. it s alll connected... dont charge me 700.00 for a snake and ripping up one toilet and mis informing me about how my plumbong workds.. GARBAGE .
A few days ago I was in a tight spot with a very leaky sink and backed-up garbage disposal. Our neighbors had used Everyday Plumber, so I gave them a call. While the service was great, on-time and meticulously clean, the prices were too far over the top. I had on hand my own kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and bathroom faucet. There were no complications and this ended up costing me $1294. If I hadn't been in such a jam, I would have gotten more estimates as this price seems way out of line to me. The kitchen faucet installation was 417 dollars, garbage disposal--460 dollars, bathroom faucet--417 dollars. All told, this was less than 2 hours of work. Is the price fair? Affordability is my only complaint and will prevent me from using their services again, regrettably. Great service if you want to or if you can pay the price. PS I was given a quote to drain my hot water heater for nearly half of what it cost me to buy! So, for what it's worth!
if you don't want to read my story, these guys are AWESOME, HONEST and AFFORDABLE. I have had two really good experiences with them. A year and half ago, they saved me on a Friday night, my water heater blew, and he didn't rip me off, he was super affordable. I will admit, I have had other plumbers in there since, and the all were dishonest and ripped me off. Sorry I 'cheated' on them ;( I had them back last night, when our entire plumbing was clogged, nothing from HD worked, it was a holiday and I had 6 guests.... they rescued me, and again, did not take advantage of me, considering the late hour / holiday / weekend! I am now a LOYAL EDP customer for life! Thank you Everyday plumbing, I will go to the roof tops and sing your accolades. The plumber (Dave) was so friendly and professional, he got the job done and gave us feedback.
Fair - Fast - Thorough - Knowledgeable - Convenient. I had a mysterious leak in my bedroom. Did some blind calling and happened upon EveryDayPlumber.com. Why did I choose them? First of all, Jackie actually answered the phone. I didn't get voicemail and I wasn't rushed to a, "Hold, please." like all of the others. Next, she didn't throw "dollars" at me. She asked me about my problem and scheduled a plumber to come out. He came out the next morning. He was courteous, on-time and knowledgeable. He quickly found and repaired the leak. I'm confident that the repair will work, but if it doesn't, he reminded me that the repair is warrantied for a year. It just doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommend EveryDayPlumber.com for any and all plumbing needs. They're fair and professional -- you won't find better!
