This has been honestly the best experience I have ever had with a plumber! I called past hours when a device, I learned later, was making a buzzing noise. I called and left a message stating I wasn't sure if it was an emergency or not and was terrified to shower or run my laundry. They called back almost immediately and took the time to help me troubleshoot the problem. They came out and I can't understate how impressed I was with their knowledge and efficiency. Thank you so much! You are absolutely amazing Derek!

DRC has done many projects for me over the years. They’ve worked on new sump pumps, ejector pumps, back up sump systems, faucets, and installed new toilets. All work was of the highest quality and they are very reliable.

Derek was called to fix our sump pump back in October of 2022, a few months the sump pump overflowed again from the rain. We called him back to check it out and noticed that after fixing the first sump pump he unplugged to fix the second one and never plugged the first one back. We asked if he can provide his insurance to cover damages he caused after we used our insurance the first time. He denied everything and stormed off.

Called for help “ain’t got time for that” hung up. Great customer service!

I wrote a positive review a while back, because Derek came out to my home twice before to address some plumbing and sewer concerns I was having. Both times he assured me that things looked okay, and didn't feel any work was warranted. Didn't charge me a service fee, no dishonest games or money grab, just an honest assessment. He went on his way, and I figured I WILL call DRC back if I do have a problem that needs fixing. Well, today was that day. Our sewer drain in the laundry room backed up, and spewed out a pretty decent amount of water, which was probably mixed with waste. I sanitized the literal crap out of the floor when all was said and done. Anyhow, I call Derek just after noon. He, along with Keith, get to my house a little after 2:30pm. They quickly assess that my ejector pit pump is broke. Like changing a light bulb they're done in about 45 minutes! They explained the product, maintainance, and answered a few other questions I had. I feel confident that not only is our problem fixed, but that Derek will backup his work and any issues that might arise. I feel like I have a good track record with him now. Anyhow, I won't hesitate to use their services again. Clearly knowledgeable. We appreciate this company!

I had a dire plumbing emergency with not so clean water running down from the basement finished ceiling and walls and welling up through the finished basement flooring . I was desperate to find a plumber willing to come out on a Saturday night . Most of the ‘24 hour’ emergency services didn’t even pick up and the ones that did said it’ll be at least 12 hours before anyone can help. I called DRC plumbing as I was going down the line of emergency plumbers . Derek answered the phone right away . He calmly triaged the situation ( I was less than calm, imagining a sewer water crisis just as I’m about to host thanksgiving in a few days). Derek was out within the hour. I was so distraught that initially I didn’t realize that this was the same plumber who came out to install my kitchen faucet . Within a couple of hours the crisis was resolved . He was clean, thorough and professional. Heros don’t have to wear capes . They can just save you thousands of dollars and Thanksgiving . Thank you Derek!!!!

On two separate occasions I needed emergency plumbing assistance, the 2nd of which was due to a flooded basement from a failed sump pump. Both times they came out immediately and fixed the issues in one stop. After the flood, they were out here and working on the problem within 20 minutes from my initial call, and less than an hour later everything was replaced and fixed. They consulted me on what to do to prevent it in the future and which products I should go with. I am extremely happy I happened to find DRC plumbing, as we just moved to the area and needed a go-to for these types of issues. I feel we got lucky with our pick. Their prices are extremely fair and you can tell that you’re working with an honest company that genuinely wants a happy customer. I would highly recommend to family and friends that this is who you should call if you need plumbing service in Chicagoland.

We had clog issue in the bathtub, tried to fix it ourselves but water started leaking to the main level and also the basement. We called DRC Plumbing in Orland Park and Derek and his assistant Keith did a fantastic job. When we told the issue and right away, he identified the problem and that shows his experience. He suggested the right solution and fixed it. They doubled checked to ensure that there is no further water leak. They came on time and also charged reasonable fee. As the name "DRC Plumbing" represents "Dependable, Reliable, Courteous", they stood up to it. I will suggest their service to all my friends and family. Reached out to DRC for an issue with what I thought was a cast Iron sewer pipe. Derek answered right away, took down my info and setup a window to stop over the following day. Derek arrived on time, gave me call when he was on his way and quickly diagnosed the issue. He explained what he thought was the cause, let me know the price, and then got to work. At the end he explained everything that he did, answered all my questions and then cleaned up. My original plumber couldn't get me an appointment for a month, I was very happy with my first experience with Derek and DRC plumbing. Highly recommend!

Husband and I called DRC Plumbing to help us with 3 different problems in our house. Installation of a new toilet, replacement of a water heater, and fixing a broken water pipe. Firm's owner was wonderful returning our telephone calls, inspecting work that needed to be done, and giving us very reasonable estimates of costs to handle each plumbing project. Would highly recommend DRC Plumbing and Sewer if you want help from highly skilled company where owner & his helper arrive on time, get the job done right, and are very happy to give you an extremely positive customer service experience.

After posting initial review I found a couple things I was not pleased about. There was a dent in my foyer ceiling which I believe was caused by a length of copper pipe being carried out the front door. I had heard a noise that day like a thud but didn't get up to look. 2nd the smoke detector in the basement was removed and not replaced. I didn't realize this for a couple weeks. If things are being changed or altered I feel it should be brought to the attention of the homeowner. I think the assistant knew he damaged the ceiling because the dent is quite obvious and was not there before.

They call and let you know when to expect them, they arrive on time, they are friendly and explain what they are doing, why the issues happened, how to prevent it in the future and the price is always reasonable. It is hard to find people you can trust but each time they have been here I am fully satisfied that this family owned business is one that you can truly trust and depend on. I highly recommend them to anyone who is stressed over any plumbing issues.

I was having some water come up in the floor drain of my laundry room after I would take a shower. I called up DRC based on the reviews I saw here and on Google. I called at the end of the workday, and Derek was polite on the phone and readily made time for me the next day. He and Keith came by to help me out. They were polite, efficient, and fair. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and, more importantly, solved it. I don't have to take three-minute showers anymore! I will definitely be calling them the next time I have an issue. Thanks guys!
