What To Watch Out For

Pricing significantly exceeds competitors for identical work—Roto Rooter fixed same problem in 20 minutes for less than half the cost

Quotes are misleading; scope of work changes mid-job without corresponding price reduction ($350 quoted for full foundation, reduced to one wall only with no adjustment)

Diagnostic approach is expensive and potentially unnecessary—charged $350 for unsuccessful drain snake attempt, then upsold $250 camera inspection and $3,000 excavation

Communication

Exceptional responsiveness to emergency calls—arrives same-day when needed during plumbing crises

Donovan and jacob were very helpful in getting my issue fixed same day! Were helpful showing me how the process works and what they were doing during the repair, worked with me to find the best solution. Would recommend as they arrived when i needed them!

Had a clogged tub drain that I was unable to clear myself. Jacob came out and was able to unclog the drain and even walked the house to make sure there were no leaks evident from the process due to the age of the pipes. I would contact them again for plumbing services.

I had a complete drain renovation at my home. Installers were fantastic and kept me informed during the whole process. Brian and Jacob worked extra hours each day to ensure certain areas were hooked up for use. They were on time each day and finished the entire project days before projected time frame. I would highly recommend Drain Doctor for your plumbing needs

$1400 for main sewer line to be water jetted $350 for footer tile to be water jetted. Before I agreed to the footer tile to be cleared, they told me they would do the entire foundation. About halfway into the job they told me oh never mind we can only do one wall. But they didn't reduce the price. Their pricing structure is intentionally hidden and unclear so they can just rip you a new one and exploit you for as much money as possible, in a time of need.

Will never use Drain Doctor again. Had them out for a backed up washing machine drain pipe in the basement. Was charged $350 to just snake the drain and he spent 2 hours and got no where. Only solution he offered was to pay an additional $250 for a camera inspection and then to dig up the floor for $3,000 to find the problem in the pipe. Had Roto Rooter out for a second opinion and he fixed the problem in TWENTY minutes and charged less than half of the other company. Very disappointed and felt scammed by Drain Doctor. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR COMMENT, You are correct, I should’ve clarified. When the worker arrived, he told me I WAS going to be charged $350 to snake the drain. He THEN charged me $243 (the price of a kitchen sink) for “his failed attempt.” And then proceeded to tell me his recommendation. So no, I wasn’t charged $293 either, please be correct. Thanks And as the owner, you should’ve said “I’m sorry you weren’t satisfied with your service. We will do what we can to make it right,” like the lady that answered your phone said you would.
