D & W Mechanical

The team at D&W Mechanical went above and beyond our expectations in helping with our heating and cooling needs. We had issues at our cottage five years after installation of our mini-split system. D&W stood behind their work, and repaired a major issue for us that typically wouldn't have been covered under the system warranty. We couldn't be more impressed with their customer service, their communication, fast service, and willingness to help our family. We are super grateful and will be customers for life.

We have had them out to do a few repairs and a lot of maintenance at our church. Nate and Oscar did an awesome job a few months ago going through all of our furnaces, ac units, and a couple of big commercial roof top units that were neglected for years. Everything has been running great. We just had a motor go out in one of the furnaces and unfortunately I forget his name but he did a great job replacing that efficiently and also repairing our boiler system after a couple zone valves went out. Thanks guys for being so professional, efficient, and knowledgeable.

D&W was recommended to us by a work colleague. I was slightly concerned because I thought they only did big commercial jobs. We needed a mini-split A/C heat pump replaced. Mike, the sales rep, came out and listened to our concerns and gave us a quote for a unit that was more efficient than out 15 year our unit and was designed to work well and provide heating in our very cold Northern Michigan winters. The crew arrived early on the date scheduled. They were very professional and polite. They went over the installation plan with me and confirmed the location for the outdoor unit. We are very pleased with the entire experience and would feel comfortable recommended D&W to anyone who asked.

I had a furnace and AC unit put in, a few years later the AC stopped working had them come out and they disconnected the AC and charged a lot just to disconnect. I called back and they agreed to come out and no service charge. Then the technician said he changed a part or to and told me 3 times it he was not going to charge to do it. At this point I was amazed and super happy then I got a bill in the mail and the service manager says he doesn’t see a reason to discount the service. It’s like working with healthcare you don’t know the price before you get the service even if you ask for the price before the job is performed. Very dishonest and disrespectful. Also the technician said the AC and furnace was low quality

I haven't used there service, nor will I ever. WHY? If they're professional work, is anything like they're driving... Then I will steer absolutely clear of it. As I deal with one of their trucks on a daily basis going into work.... They ride my bumper for at least 5 mi, then pass me at a very uncomfortable distance, then speed off doing more than 75 mph on US-31. That type of driving implies that they are fast and loose with what they do.
