I was originally scheduled for Monday, five days from now. The service desk called me to let me know a tech was finished early with a job and would be available to come to my residence this afternoon. He called ahead of arriving to let me know he was on his way. He was very professional, diligent in his work, and went above and beyond to answer my questions and explain in detail about the equipment. The technician’s technical knowledge was clear not only through the efficiency in his work, but also the information he provided. I’m a sucker for knowledge, so I really appreciate that he took the time to teach me. Colony has earned my return business should I need HVAC work or equipment.

Very knowledgeable assessment of system requirements for our installation. Took time to provide detailed information and options to consider for replacement of furnace, AC, and Zone control system. Installation went very smoothly. Installers were very polite and professional. They completed the work efficiently and went over all the components and system operation. They left the utility room and the rest of the house in a very clean condition after completion. Definitely happy with the process and highly recommend Colony.

Brennan and E.J. arrived early in the morning, assessed the job at hand and got right to work. They unloaded the truck and staged the equipment to be installed. They were professional, represented their company well, they communicated throughout the entire project which made the project go smoothly. They did a great job on the condensing unit pad installation as well as the exterior wall penetrations to make everything neat and clean. I am also satisfied with the neat and clean installation of the furnace, V-coil, duct work connections, PVC intake and the exhaust piping, gas piping and the PVC drain piping. Overall system installation looks like it will last another 30 years. If anyone purchases an HVAC System, ask for Brennan and E.J. for your installers. They work well together, take pride in their work, made sure the system worked properly and were very helpful to answer questions on the new system.

Absolutely horrible company to work with. We recently purchased a newly constructed condo that they installed the furnace, a/c, and ductwork in. I noticed that they never connected the basement family room cold air return to the system. They had panned off the back side of the return, but never ran the ductwork. It took weeks of calling by the builder and myself to get someone in the "New Construction Dept." to call me back. When they did, he claimed I was incorrect that was there to provide make-up air for the water heater. After a lengthy discussion he agreed to send someone out to take a look at it. Turns out they hadn't ever connected the return as I had said. Yesterday I discovered a condensation leak inside the furnace that was causing rust. Evidently it had been leaking since the installation. Also to metal clamps designed to be tightened around the flue pipe were never tightened and there was a probability that carbon monoxide had been leaking into the home since it was installed. I asked them to come fix it under warranty and was told there would be a dispatch fee of $150 to come out and look at it and if it wasn't an installer error it would be $250/hr to fix it. $250/hr for a scheduled appointment during regular business hours? That's unbelievable! Considering they installer didn't connect the return air ductwork, and the clamps on the flue pipe were never tightened, I think it's a safe assumption the leak was an installer issue. I canceled the appointment, tightened the clamps myself and will monitor the condensation line leak for further issues. Colony used to have a great reputation, but evidently the new owner is more interested in making a fast buck than customer satisfaction.

Highly recommend going with Colony for all your HVAA and Plumbing needs. We have been using them for several years and have always had a great experience. Techs that were out today were very professional and great to talk with. Even let the dog help out with the yearly furnace maintenance! Thank you Colony for hiring wonderful people, including veterans!
