We received excellent professional service from bluefrog plumbing. From customer service to the actual work done by Brennan Pramberg. The price was moderately higher than average I expected, however I will accept based on the quality of service
5-star service right here! Cody was super professional and does solid work. He replaced our hose bibb quickly (in and out in an hour) and even installed an extra shutoff valve, which was a great bonus (we didn't even ask for it). He even stayed after to answer extra plumbing questions I had. The price was solid, literally half of what the big names are charging. Plus, the front desk was super responsive and even called me earlier in the day to see if I wanted to have my appointment sooner. A+ service all around, I will definitely be using them from now on!
When we discovered that our ground floor toilet was leaking from the base and hey, surprise, the previous owner didn't install a flange, and oh also the copper drain pipe from 1970 doesn't meet modern standards so there's not a good way to connect one anyway—it was time to call in the pros! We got several quotes from various plumbers, and estimates ranged from $1800 on the low end to over $8000 (!!!) with one place, where they wanted to replace ALL of the old drain pipes in the basement. Which, in an ideal world where money is no object, sure; but unfortunately reality is a thing. Thank goodness I also called BlueFrog to get their take on it. We got the whole job quoted and even completed within less than 3 hours, and now we have a proper flange with a new ABS drain connection that's married onto the existing copper pipe, for under $1000 altogether. No jackhammering of tile and subfloor involved, no cutting holes in drywall, or any unnecessary additions sold via scare tactics. Will we need to replace all the pipes someday? Probably. But, a big shout-out here to our technician Jason Bandy: he has a very down-to-earth, no-nonsense approach and demeanor, and he's adamantly against recommending or charging for things that you just don't need right now. And he took the time to clue me in on signs to watch out for that's going to tell us that, hey, NOW we actually do need to replace some of these other pipes. He's approachable and personable, and you can tell you're talking to an actual human being rather than a corporate mouthpiece. Also the online scheduler is super easy to use, both to book your appointment and to reschedule if needed. In summary: SO glad that I contacted BlueFrog, and I anticipate calling them again the next time we have a repair we need help with! 5 stars++
I had Blue Frog Plumbing & Drain come out to fix a simple leaking hose connection at my water heater. To be clear, this is not a water heater they installed. They were only performing a minor repair. The repair itself was completed and solved the issue, and I paid the plumber. After the plumber left, I noticed that he had placed a large, obnoxious Blue Frog Plumbing marketing sticker directly on my water heater. He did not ask for permission. He did not mention it. He did not give me the sticker and ask if I wanted it applied. He simply put it on my property without consent. I do not want ugly marketing stickers on my equipment. It looks cheap, it looks unprofessional, and frankly the giant frog logo is an eyesore. When I tried to remove the sticker, I discovered it is a very thin, low quality sticker that tears immediately when you try to peel it off. It rips into pieces and leaves residue behind, making it even more frustrating to remove. This is not about the cost of the service or whether the repair worked. This is about basic respect for a customer’s property. You do not put permanent advertising on someone else’s equipment without asking. Period. Even if Blue Frog Plumbing offered the lowest pricing in the area, I will never use them again. Respect for a customer’s home and property should be a baseline expectation, not an afterthought.
They responded promptly, and although there was a little miscommunication, they didn’t make excuses. They sent a plumber to my house the same day, fixed the leak and even provided before-and-after pictures. They were not only polite but also took real action. On top of that, they offer a one-year labor warranty. Highly recommended!
