Blue River Plumbing & Heating

Great team of guys. Good communication to myself, the customer and their staff. I’ve trusted them alone in my house to do projects, as well as help complete remodels. They stand behind their work like I’ve never seen before. Blue River is my first and last call for plumbing questions, service and installations.

I am a General Contractor and I have been using Blue River Plumbing & Heating for quite a few years now. They are always on top of things; always ready to help my clients with their needs. They also know what they are doing which is important to me. I would definitely recommend them

I have used Blue River Plumbing the last couple of years and found them to be fair and good quality workmanship. However, in June, 2018 I called them to give me an estimate on some work and asked for the same plumber and found out Dallas and his mother no longer worked for Blue River. I decided to give them an opportunity to give us a proposal along with two other plumbers and they were 3x higher than the other two plumbers, whose bids were a few dollars from one another. I now use Flush Plumbing and they have done a great job.

I was out of town and my renters said the hot water heater was out. It was probably just a pilot light so I just needed a plumber to go out there check that and turn it back on. After calling 4 other plumbers that could not get there for a week Blue River Plumbing said they could get out there early the next morning. Their office staff was very nice and easy to work with. They sent me text messages and the plumber called me when the work was done. The only reason I did not do 5 stars is that the price was a bit high for lighting a pilot light. However, the price was worth it because of the quick service.

Quick, courteous service. Travers was very knowledgeable and gave me some ideas to avoid the plumbing problem in the future. 4 stars because the price was high ($294) and came as a shock for ~30min of work (cut one piece of exterior 1.5” pvc piping that had clogged due to freezing, confirmed sump pump worked properly). I will use Blue River again but get a quote for everything beforehand.
