This is the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. Prices are great. The workmanship is excellent and the plumbers could not be nicer. I highly recommend Best Plumbing.

These guys are great, very flexible. I've used them for everything from under slab rough-ins to small residential repairs. For repairs, I highly recommend asking for Mike, he is a lovely person and a creative problem solver.

Absolute total Pros that came out 2 days before Thanksgiving at a moments notice and really came through in our time of need. Mike, Eric, and Jake are the Rock Stars of Plumbing ! Mike even showed me Toilet 101 on how my toilet worked and how to fix it. Super patient professional and nice guy. Thank you Mike High Recommended!!

This is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. I scheduled an appointment with them, then they tell me they don’t see my appointment. I’ve taken off from my place of employment for this. They get here, and have the receptionist call me, as they pull off, telling me it was a bigger job and that they have other people to see. DO NOT use this company at all!

Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. They refused to provide a contract and completed the installation without approval. They then demanded more than the quoted price and the product never performed as promised. They also refused to provide a detailed invoice. They refused to return phone calls or deal with me. I was forced to complain with the BBB and then the company began to threaten me. I've never had an experience like this and hope I never will again. I was in a bind and called a company straight from the web without asking friends for a referral. I will never do that again.

I have had more than a couple frustrating interactions with this company, the most recent of which being there a return trip to repair a new gas water heater that was spewing water at a rate that completely flooded my entire garage ruining everything in it overnight. In keeping with Best Plumbing's usual level of service, they did not show up on time and left without speaking to me & having not completed the work, due in part to his making the assumption that my gas has been turned off when in fact it is on and has been on without interruption for 15+ years. So, I am still without hot water after calling this morning and speaking with a rude office worker who told me someone would be out before 4 PM today, yet I sit here on Friday night without hot water and when I turn on the faucet I get a horrible noise and air. After calling their office at 4:15 and receiving a voicemail greeting including there after hours rates of $120-$240 an hour, I gave up. In addition to their shockingly bad quality of work and inability to actually communicate with their customers, they seem to be confused as to the limit of their responsibilities. At least one employee believes he is a member of the state of Tennessee's child protective services as well as part of my neighborhood watch. After a friend of mine showed them to the water heaterwith my seven-year-old daughter curiously following, the plumber made the incorrect observation that my friend, who is epileptic due to a traumatic brain injury, must be "high and on a lot of drugs", (something that would've been clarified as the result of an earlier seizure tantamount to a lightning storm inside ones cranium had he actually knocked on the door and spoken to me - the homeowner.)and was moments away from dialing 911 which would have resulted in a disaster. Fortunately yet unfortunately, he instead drove straight to my family's place of business and shared this misinformation with my family and an entire office full of employees who quickly called a family member who was able to put to rest the concerns of this ignorant plumber with a God complex. It must be noted that this plumber never once attempted to speak to me, the person on the service ticket who has called their business multiple times in the past and is also the homeowner before flipping out , doing shoddy work, and leaving without verifying that the problem was solved. If you need a plumber they are definitely not the best. If you need child protective services then call child protective services. If you need an ignorant idiot with no communication skills and a God complex who comes from an office run by a receptionist Who is rude, uninformed, and tries to carry on multiple conversations at the same time and then lies to you then this plumber is the one for you.

Just talked to Norman and he was great to speak with after having a very poor experience with the lady that answers the phones. I will adjust this review in the future once they make things right and I see what I'm actually charged. Edit... They charged me something absolutely ridiculous. Charged me for an after hours call, when I was told I would only be charged the after hours rate, if they came after 4pm. I was also told I would be charged for 2 people if it required them to use a big snake machine. The guy was there by 3pm and gone before 4pm, so I'm not sure why I was charged the after hours rate. They told my tenants they couldn't fix the problem and that they'd have to come back the next day. I specifically requested for them to let me know what the status was once they finished. I never heard from them or my tenants, so I assume everything was good. My tenants call me two days later to ask if someone was coming to pump the septic tank. They gave me the back breif on what happened when the guys came out and the times they were there, when they told them they were coming back, etc. So I call a d get the same lady on the phone that I mentioned above and she's extremely rude from the beginning. I asked why I wasn't informed of what happened when her guy went out and why no one told me I needed a septic company to come out too. Her response was, well they took the cap off and saw the septic tank was full and that they didn't have to use the machine because nothing was clogged in the house, so therefore there was no reason to call me. She then couldn't understand why it was important to let me know what the status of the visit was and said do you want me to call a septic service or not? I declined a d found one myself. Apparently they don't have the best reputation among the plumbing community and I was advised by all but one of the septic companies I talked to that they get the same story quite often. Again Norman acted nice on the phone, but they still attempted. To rip me off and literally did absolutely nothing but remove one cap from the end of my house and see that it was full of water.

Complete and total crooks. Stay away. Do not use. We contacted them about increasing our water pressure. Other plumbers had given us what they believed to be the solution so we called Best Plumbing to get a quote. Their "expert" said that a different solution was required and gave us a quote of two thousand dollars for their suggested service. This was quite a bit of money, so I called again and asked if they were SURE that this was solution because this would exhaust my budget for this issue. The girl on the phone even momentarily seemed confused as to why our initial request was not suggested as the solution. They sent out their "expert" again just to be sure. He ASSURED us that this was the solution. There was no statement or indication that this wouldnt solve the problem. Because if there had been I promise you I would have gotten several more plumbers out to give me a consensus. So... I let them do the 2k service. They dug up my entire front yard. There has literally been ZERO change to my water pressure. ZERO. Nothing. My yard is trashed, and I just spent 2k to replace a pipe that had nothing to do with my initial issue. So they then say that the next possible solution IS THE SERVICE THAT WE INITIALLY CALLED THEM FOR. Which would cost another 1500 dollars. I told them from word go that I didnt have frivolous money to spend on this and I needed assurance that this would solve the problem before I wasted money on it. They gave it to me. At no point in time did they say that their initial recommendation might not work. So now, Im out 2k, cant afford to actually get the service I wanted and my yard looks like shit. Stay away. They are absolute thieves.

EDIT: *Moved from 2 stars to 3. After complaining for what seemed like weeks that it doesn't seem fair for a customer to have work done and be given zero indication on what the work would cost, the office adjusted my bill to be an amount that the on-site plumber told me I could expect to pay* Firstly, the plumbers are cool, nice, and appear to be knowledgeable. The office staff seem cool and nice and respond quickly. The fact that the customer is left in complete darkness about pricing until the bill comes is why I feel bamboozled. I blame upper management for this. I'll keep it simple. Had 2 leaking faucets and one drain that drained slowly. Did all the typical "husband" fixes that would work for a while but didn't stick. Reluctantly called in a pro for these 3 simple issues. They replaced things I had never seen in my life, installed new pipes for my outside faucet, concrete was involved for some reason, spent over 4 hours at my house, and the drain is still slow and the kitchen faucet leaks in the exact same manner as it did before they came. For this I got a $671 bill. Had the management equipped the plumbers with some basic pricing information, and trained the plumbers to explain the process and pricing with the customer before starting the work, giving the customer the power to say "I can't afford that, so just do this but not that" I wouldn't feel taken advantage of. I intend to pay my bill and consider it my "Stupid tax" to learn basic plumbing on my own or just live with the issues in the future.

Hired this company to fix a water pressure issue. All the research we had done said we needed to upgrade our existing plumbing from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. Norman the “master” plumber came out without any tools. Had to borrow my channel locks. Told us that changing the existing pipes would do nothing to help, that we needed to replace the main line from the street, and that it would cost $2,000. We asked them to come back out to ensure that that is what needed to be done and not what we originally contacted them to do. They said yes, definitely. We took them at their word. Not only did this do absolutely nothing to fix our problem, they damaged our 100 year old concrete French drain rather than going under it, left all of the debris in our flowerbed, and created a massive hole in our foundation allowing water to pool in our basement every time it rains. After telling them their recommendation didn’t work they said “we need to change the existing pipes from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch.” The exact thing we originally contacted them to do. Now we have wasted $2,000 for them to NOT fix our problem, tear up our lawn, destroy a 100 year old structure, create a hole in our foundation, and now we need to pay another $2,000 to repair the damage they did to our home. And to top it all off, we had another company come out and replace all of the existing pipes from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. And guess what? Our problem is fixed. Don’t hire “Best” Plumbing.

I recently had to have a new HVAC unit installed. When the company was doing the duct sealing in my crawl space, a water leak was found which prevented them from completing the job until the leak was repaired. They took a video of the leak and surrounding area. Best Plumbing previously replaced a drain trap with a P trap in my bathroom. The area with the leak was the exact area that Best had worked on. Both the HVAC company and a plumber said the work done by Best was "incomplete" and that Best had stopped short of connecting the pipes as they should have been connected. The main part of the galvanized pipe, the "nipple", had not been removed and replaced, creating a leak due to a considerable "gap" in the connection of the pipes. This area had been leaking for an extended period. To find out Best Plumbing did a shoddy job after what I paid them infuriated me. Apparently, they didn't want to do the complete job, but just enough to get by. This used to be a reputable company. Not anymore. Read the other negative reviews and avoid them at all costs.

Ruined my flooring and walked off of the job after making claims of a bee/wasps infestation. Addressing the technician's concerns I immediately made a call a exterminator and paid an express service charge, he arrived within the hour on the same day, after the exterminator concluded a thorough inspection he confirmed that there was no bug activity of any sort, I immediately called Best Plumbing Co. In hopes of them completing the job that day. I spoke with the receptionist claimed that all of the technicians were on other appointments and she would need to reschedule the appointment. I relayed to her the importance of this being a quick turnaround due to there being a gaping hole in my floor. They confirm another appointment in which sadly on the day of no one showed. I called Best plumbing Co back and kept getting delays and excuses on how more important jobs were given our time slot. Finally when I received a call I was informed that they needed a special part to make the connection which I later found out was a lie. I expected more from this company.

My gas water heater suddenly began leaking on a Tuesday night, by Wednesday mid afternoon Best Plumbing was at my house to give me a reasonable quote, and a pleasant chat, which helped my understandable stress level. By Friday early afternoon the new water heater was installed by two very polite and capable young men. One even went an extra mile by making sure a ball valve that was there already for an accessory, would not leak as he noticed a slight leak in it. I had not even noticed that. The speed in this quality service surprised me. I know how so many service businesses are completely backed up. The leak from the bottom was so bad that I could not turn on my hot water heater even to use the hot water while waiting for the replacement. I believe they placed me on a rush because of that, since at first I was told it would likely be the next week before they could install. Thank you Best Plumbing for living up to your name. There is a reason your company has been in business since the 1960's. Best Plumbing is on my short list of plumbers to call.

Wish I had reviewed this company's ratings here on Yelp before hiring. I now understand the experience I had. The scheduling staff and technician were all helpful and courteous, although the technician arrived many hours late. I had to call the office to find out what was happening with the schedule as no one called me to explain the change. The work area was left quite dirty. Their initial estimate was nearly double their original estimate. It would have been helpful if the technician had explained why the office's estimate on time was one hour and a half versus 10 minutes. There is also a transportation charge that no one mentioned plus a 1.67 mark up on all supplies. Overall was not happy with the experience and will never use this company again. The owner told me he's been in business for decades and somehow they will find a way to get by without my business.

SECOND TIME we have used these guys. First was at my moms, see earlier review. But this time we had a leak in our relatively new home that no one could find. Jonathan and crew came out, stayed until they found the leak (from a siding nail that went through main tank line). Very minimal damage from plumber, finding and patching up the leak. And they cleaned up any mess, took flooring with them! Awesome experience, again!!! Builder will have quite a job with cabinets and flooring, but could have been much worse. Best plumbing to the rescue again! First Review in 2024: Great job! My mom had a main line bust/crack (no sewer) and Best Plumbing came out right away, cleared the pipe from debris, then scheduled a time to come out and repair the main pipe. Returned the dirt that was required to be dug up for repair, and even placed grass seed there. Thanks Norman and crew!
