Two men arrived on time @9:00am and started work on the installation. It was complicated, since they had to remove the water softener and brine tank to get to the target install location. The old leaking tank water heater was successfully extracted. Then they cleaned the floor in the area since it was severely stained from the old water heater (something they didn't have to do, and they did a superb job in cleanup). They re-did the pluming for the placement of the new TANKLESS water heater which was done very well. Installed the new water heater, and explained all the technical details in layman's terms. Re-installed the other items (water softener and brine tank ). Cleaned up the entire area from the front door to the utility room. They were all business. FYI: I WILL call them again for any pluming issues. They were very professional. A 100% excellent job. They stayed until 4:00pm -ish. THEY DID THE ENTIRE JOB TO COMPLETION WITH NO ADDITIONAL COST, JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL QUOTED AMOUNT.
Nate Davis - give this guy a raise. Holy crap - no pun intended. Our basement floor drain was back-flooding. We called around, got wildly different estimates from different companies, landed on ARS as the one we wanted to have come out. Nate drove from Avon to Lafayette, which is over an hour, on a Saturday mind you, and had the absolute best top tier attitude and personality possible. He was light-hearted, professional, and skilled in his craft. Nate was able to use his tool, whatever the hell the thing is called that is 75 foot of pure magic, and pulverized the blockage in our drain pipe and got us flowing again. Without Nate we would be in deep shit right now. That pun WAS intended. Nate is an 11 out of 10. ARS management - give this guy a raise. Don't let a good employee go unrewarded. This guy is one of your front runners in attitude and skill, keep him around, and to do that, you need to reward him for his efforts and his professionalism, he made your company look like a godsend on a shitty day. ( I promise that is the last pun )
On May 7, 2024, ARS came to my property on time started work on my sewer line to install a clean out check valve. They dug about 8feet deep. They took about a half day between the rain and sunshine to complete the installation The crew was friendly and knowledgeable when I asked questions. Afterwards it rained heavily all night. The valve worked and there was now sewer backup in my basement Thank you ARS for a job well done!!
Called for a sewer line drain cleaning was told they could be out next day so I made appointment for 2 to 6 window and let them know that it would have to be closer to 5 because of my job. The guy was very understanding and put in the notes. I called next day because I had a missed call and was told they could come now but couldn't wait till 5 and this was at 1pm, which is outside of the original window I was originally given. So we made another appointment for the next day same time and ARS acted like the same thing was going to happen and when I got home from work there was water damage in our recently renovated basement so called Blue Fox out and they got it cleaned that day . When I called ARS to cancel appointment they actually had the nerve to try to upsell me with tune ups and warranties. They can't even keep an appointment how can they get a warranty claim right. Very bad customer service and communication skills across the board. Only reason I'm giving one star is because I have to for this to post.
Advertised $83 clean out. Tech shows and he says $381! I had to disconnect water line from toilet as tech attempted to remove retaining nut holding flushing apparatus! Then I, not the tech, removed the toilet. Extremely messy and incomplete hardware installation. It took a full 2.5 hours to run a 50' snake! I certainly do hope to hear from a proper mgnt representative as the dispatcher, McKayla (sp?), called to cite company policy. McKayla should absolutely NOT have customer contact! I have included photos. The toilet was purchased and installed 24 hrs earlier. The tools were mine as the tech didn't have an 11 mm wrench or needle nose pliers. The level of overall disappointment is immeasurable, atm.
