Red flag
Bait-and-switch documented: $65 emailed water heater flush offer became $550+ quote on arrival — tech shrugged and said the email 'didn't make sense' (surprise_fees=4)
“I set up an appointment based on an Nahman email offering a $65 "water heater flush." The technician showed up and said that the flush would actually cost over $550. A classic bait-and-switch scam.”

Tech refused job because he couldn't park directly outside the house — drove away mid-appointment, returned hours later with supervisor; boiler still unresolved (unprofessional=2)

Scheduling failures at critical moments: 8am no-show on toilet repair for a pregnant household; Christmas Eve no-show after confirmed appointment (slow_response=4)
“What an incredibly UNRELIABLE company. I am a very pregnant mother with two little kids and two grandparents in the house and a toilet on the fritz. Originally Albert Nahman Plumbing told me they would be out to fix my toilet at 8am yesterday. I made some changes to the family schedule so that I could accomidate being home all morning, fine, no problem. Well 8am comes and goes with no call, no text. Finally I call them around 9, and they tell me they ACTUALLY can't come out until the next day (today) at 8am. Their mistake, they are so sorry.”

The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“Plunged parent’s toilet $189. Five stars. Replaced parent’s broken single hole lav faucet with “like” faucet with no change to fittings $1010.95. ZERO stars. I was the contact person and they had the person with disabilities sign the contract. I would NEVER have approved that. I called Thursday. No return call yet.”
“We were so disappointed with this company. I made the appointment in November for 1/14/26. We traveled from Colorado for this appointment. We told them in November that we wanted our heater checked and our thermostat changed, since it wasn’t functioning and our house was 50 degrees. The day before the appointment I called to get a time window when we could expect the technician to arrive. They could only tell me …”
“AVOID AT ALL COSTS - THIS BUSINESS WILL NOT FIX ANY ISSUES THEY CREATE. They are happy to take your money, but do not take full responsibility for their poor workmanship. In mid-August, I hired Albert Nahman to clean out a sewer line blockage (which is a relatively easy thing to do). The technician came and completed the job, which took less than an hour. He gave us an invoice, which we paid on the spot. Within a …”
Positive
“Sal Garrido was absolutely spectacular in restoring my peace of mind when he stopped the running water in 2 of my 3 toilets. He expertly repaired them by needed replacement of parts that caused the problems. And he clearly explained and priced the job before starting. Given that my husband who recently passed away used to handle all of our home maintenance issues, I was particularly relieved to have such …”
