I've had several issues after moving into my new home and absolute plumbing has taken great care of us! They are extremely professional and I can tell they really care about getting it right!
I had a water leak in my basement and called Absolute Plumbing. It was late and yet Dan came out and assessed the problem and fixed the issue! He was very nice to work with and knew what to do to fix my leak. The receptionist was also so friendly and helpful! Thanks so much! Janet Ward
Delighted that we chose absolute plumbing to come do some work on the house we just bought. Justin and the other four gents who did the work over the past two days have been nothing but amazing. I'm very impressed with their work ethic and they were all so nice! We are definitely going to be repeat customers. Also really appreciated the text with a name and picture of the person coming out saying they were on their way for our original quote. Thank you again to the team, you have put us at ease.
UPDATE: I have tried contacting the owner several times. Immediately they say "Mike is out today. He will call you tomorrow." They are not interested in making it right AT ALL. I am just ignored after they ran away with my money. I found out this job shouldn't have even been $5000, much less $13,000! I am now having to file legal charges for fraud instead of spending time with my brother. They even blocked my number when I tried to reach out again today! SCAM!!!! Run away from this company. I called for a simple pipe change under my kitchen sink. Not only did they want to charge $1000.00 for that, they said they are "required" to check the whole house, making it sound as if it's a legal requirement. They said all my pipes were bad and scared me to death. My brother lives with me, and is dying of Stage 4 cancer. Keith, the sales person, knew this and went ahead with the scare tactics. We agreed to the work, even though I told them I didn't have that kind of money. He said I had to get it done. He showed me a monthly fee, not the total. I had to ask for the total. I feel they took advantage of me in a very vulnerable time. They did some work, then called my husband repeatedly to sign off on the work even though we weren't home. Joe threatened to not finish if he didn't sign it right then. They also pressured us to sign the loan docs before they got started. It was AGGRESSIVE! I told them I didn't want to do that, and he promised there was a warranty and everything was covered. When I got home that evening, my house was DESTROYED and it's incomplete. I should have known with how aggressive they were being! This is a predatory company that overcharges. I called them and Justin, the manager called me Monday and said they would have a contractor out to make it right. Now I'm getting the runaround. He wrote "He tried to call you several times. I've seen the call log." LIES! No one has called me. I answer every call that comes through due to my brother's care. I asked for his number and he ignored that request. I asked for the owner's phone number. He said "the owner will call you.". I'm clearly being messed with! Please stay far away from this company! I have a feeling the good reviews are fake. The bad reviews are a lot like mine. Now I have to fight the loan and possibly go to court, when I should be spending time with my brother, who has weeks or maybe months left - he is 55 years old. He also has to come home from the hospital to a completely destroyed house. I am devastated. They knew what was going on with my family and only saw dollar signs.
They sent 2 guys out to my house and one of them flat out lied to me about the PRV telling me it was installed incorrectly and it was contributing to my problems and they would take care of it! Be very wary of them. 2 other separate companies said there was nothing wrong with the PRV!
This company is one to watch out for. After having a miscommunication with another plumbing company due to a critical leak, I called these guys who claimed to do leak detection. I confirmed multiple times that they do this as its what I needed. I was assured. Well they don't and found that out after they wanted to go through my house and ask about the water heater etc. etc. They came out and did an inspection of my entire home as a "standard". In truth, its a scam to up-sell. Eventually, one of the nicer guys was able to get a leak detection company they work with scheduled for the next day. They then proceeded to build two proposals to fix my leak. One was entirely new lines in and outside throughout to "stay up to code" (a lie). This was $25k. The other was to only replace the outside...but required a new main at the house which was nearly $12k. I declined to sign the proposal on the spot as I wanted a leak detection done first. We agreed and they left. Today I called because the leak detection company never showed up. Guess what? They had the office cancel the leak detection because I did not sign the proposal. Another "miscommunication" they called it. Little did they know I already had quotes on the plumbing to replace my lines or do a repair. The other quotes to do a full outside line replacement topped out at $3600. Trash company that used their "licensing" , "code compliance" and "standard service assessment" to misdirect and lie for the sake of sales. They are the reason multiple quotes and digging into questions is key. DO NOT USE THEM!
OMG, I wished I had read the negative reviews. I had a slab leak and they didn't give me the price to fix just that, they did the upsell to replace all the poly pipes to code. They didn't do a good job with the sheetrock and then sent their 3rd party sheetrock vendor who ruined my house with mud and paint splattered on appliances, new hot water heater, etc., my washing machine hose is stuck to the wall where they shoved it into the wet paint, and the greatest is they did the sheetrock and mudded AND then painted over it the same day without letting it dry so I have yellow outlines on the ceiling in the family room, dining room, and kitchen. Oh, and let me mention they were going to reuse the same sheetrock and reinstall into the ceiling and walls (yes, for real!!) I told them absolutely NOT and made them take it to discard. The owner Mike Chastain insists on seeing the damage even though I sent photos over and 2 of his plumbers had to come and fix the leaking vanity from the sheetrock contractor and they took tons of photos as well - AP/Mike actually proposed having the same sub-par sheetrock company come fix the damage they created as their resolution. Are you kidding me!! What, so they can create MORE damage. Horrible customer service from their mgmt team!!! Avoid this terrible company, do not get sucked in like I did as it will cost you!
Wonderful!! They are absolutely wonderful, upfront pricing, honest workers, punctual, I will continue to recommend them to everyone in Bridgemill! We are relatively new to the neighborhood (Dec 2017) and had some weird pools of water in our garage. I looked around for a good plumber and found these guys on Facebook. I know all too well when businesses offer "Free" service calls, they end up trying to sell you on something crazy expensive or they nickel and dime you. These guys advertised an $80 service Call and that's what we were charged. No hidden fees, no nickel and dime charges, no up-selling, they showed up, tightened a couple of fixtures to the pipes inside the master bathroom wall and Voila! Problem solved! No more pools of water in the garage! I also walked them through the basement and had them look at a few areas of concern. They told me everything was great and that I could rest easy. Seriously, such a relief when a business doesn't take advantage of clients. Especially being that I'm a stay at home mom, I really appreciate the honesty. I can't tell you how sick it makes me when male owners or workers show up at your house, and act like because you're a female, you must have a lower IQ than them. Thank you, Absolute Plumbing for employing hard working, honest people!
The Bathtub faucet had a leak. Technician David, from Absolute Plumbing came to diagnose the issue. After he went to his truck for a O ring to place on the cartridge which goes in the wall. The leak appeared to stop while he was there but as soon as he left it returned. All he said was that we were going to have to replace all the plumbing in the wall, almost $1k and once he made the hole in the wall I had to repair it, he named other shot-in-the-dark parts he wanted me to buy. For him to do the work, I had to pay $100 for the parts, with no guarantee for the work. He charged us $100 for an O-ring after the $50 diagnosis ($150), for the problem which was NEVER corrected. It was a $4 replacement part that was needed, to stop the leak from ACE Hardware, which I corrected myself, and I am not a plumber. I do not appreciate the dishonesty.
Evan and Nate were fantastic during their visit. They took the time to explain everything they were doing as they checked out an issue we're having with an odor from a drain. Their attention to detail really stood out. While handling the job they came for, they also noticed a few other areas of concern and explained what could happen over time if the issues are not addressed. What I appreciated most is that they didn't try to upsell anything or push for their company to take on the additional work. It was clear they genuinely care about the quality of their work and the well-being of the customer's home. Because of their professionalism and honesty, I'll definitely be using Absolute Plumbing Services for any future needs they can help with.
To imply that the other firm did something against code or improper is really low. They actually identified the leak (which was above ground at the connection) and showed it to me with the bubbles as opposed to your team that couldn't find it and just wanted to dig everything up for a ton of money. The way the generator line was installed was pulling sideways on the stack putting too much pressure on the connection over time. They went and got the correct pipe and fittings to bring the connection over further to eliminate the side pressure on the gas stack and thereby correct the problem. All done with correct materials and above ground.
Evan and Nate came by to look at my water heater today. After having A-total plumbing tell me everything water related had to be replaced, I didn’t believe it. They came out and thoroughly checked everything, even taking the time to explain and show me what was good and bad. I found this company through multiple recommendations on Bartow News and Talk page on Facebook, and I can say they did not disappoint. Although the price was a bit higher than I wanted, I refuse to cheap out, especially with quality and knowledge they are providing. Thank you again to Nate and Evan for all they helped me with today.
Callled for a quote. Plumber came out, quoted $1595. I was shocked. I thought about it for a couple minutes and said I needed to get other quotes. Immediately he said, how about $950. I said I needed to get some other quotes. He called the office and they said $795 but only if I do it right now. Otherwise, if they had to come back it would be $950. I don't like high pressure sales tactics. He left and I called 2 other plumbers who quoted $695 (Pike) and $679 (Integrated Plumbing Solutions). I was very disappointed in Absolute Plumbing's pricing and sales tactics and would not call them again.
I called Absolute Plumbing with a broken kitchen sprayer late in the afternoon. They arrived promptly the next day on time. Not only did they replace and upgrade my kitchen faucet, Evan and Leo found a toilet that would constantly use water and that my water pressure was 3 times higher than the normal level. Even and Leo repaired all of these issues and fixed them while kindly allowing my young daughter and puppy to watch. Both of them and their company did a great job and now my daughter cannot stop playing with her new "toy".
Had these guys come to fix my toilet. They took over two hours to replace the flush valve. Still did not work. Charged me $250. Called them back to fix again. They said It needed a new valve seal. Wanted to charge me another $300. Bought the seal from Lowe's for 7 bucks. Took me ten minutes. Before all this nonsense this technician performed unnecessary water pressure checks. Over three hours to try to fix a faulty toilet valve and seal. Unhappy senior citizen. Stay away from these plumbers.
