2/27/26 Google Review I’ve sent only 2 google reviews, ever. ABC Plumbing & Drain, what a super, connected team. Mary, Ryan, Shantel, Sarah, Mike, Dustin/Chris/Chris Wilcox. My words are not enough to express the gracious, kind, funny, professional, hardworking, patient & exceptionally good listeners, for this team. I have tears in my eyes, it felt like they all felt my pain & needs, which they promptly addressed with concern. This is a rare experience for me, since the drain trauma began 5 years ago. I had a drain problem. Two companies came out before I called ABC.They did not fix the drain problem and just were not honest only more like salesmen instead of caring about what they're there for.But Logan from ABC came was very professional answered all my question and got the job done for real .He came within a couple of hours and great prices. Also great customer service Ty ABC ...Best ever

Excellent experience and half the price of some other companies. ABC was a second opinion and I'm glad I called. They were kind professional and did a thorough evaluation. ABC left me with a feeling of trust in their diagnosis and prices. Would hire again and will be recommending them to my family, friends and business customers.

Last July we hired ABC to scope the sewer main during a home inspection for our first home. They said that the line needed to be jetted so we hired them again to jet the line after we purchased the home a month later. They then claimed that they were unable to jet the line and said they would follow up with an estimate to dig up and replace the line. They charged us $500 for coming out to jet it but said that money would go towards the cost of replacing the line. A few weeks later I reached out regarding the estimate. They sent a guy over who stated the line would bet the city’s responsibility. He said he would get in touch with the city and get back to us. After waiting a few more weeks, I reached out again about the status of this repair. The employee that I spoke with said there was nothing on record about it but she would reach out to the estimator. I asked about having our $500 refunded since we would not be needing them to replace the line. She claimed they did jet the line. I explained to the employee that I have an invoice that states they tried to jet the line but could not because of too many fittings. She argued they did jet the line. I’ll admit it got a little heated. She was pretty rude. She said she would get ahold of the estimator and report back. The next week our basement backed up with sewage. I got ahold of Roto-Rooter, explained the situation, they said they felt confident they would be able to jet it and that ABC just “didn’t know what they were doing”. He did indeed jet the line, resolving our issue. To this day I have never received a call back about the estimate or had our $500 refunded. I don’t think they know what they’re doing either.

Made an appointment with a human being about an emergency plumbing issue. Asked them to verify with me that they would absolutely service our area, given the address and all, they reassured me yes. I wait two hours, call back for an ETA, and some lady finally calls me named Rebecca, says they are only in Akron and don’t service that area. Says it was their answering service!!! I try to explain what happened and that they wasted my time setting the appointment up and making me wait 2 hours before I called again to make sure all was well. She hung up on me!!! Their company screws up and she has the audacity to not sit through my complaint?? Never again ABC, even for my home out near you. Never again. Rebecca is a coward for not addressing the issue appropriately.

While i think they fixed the problem at my mom's house, several things were completely inexcusable. 1st - my mom was told landscaping repair was not included. ok fine, but she was overwhelmed at how much landscaping was needed after the work. I suggest this be made A LOT clearer on the estimating end of things. 2nd - she made it clear to the people on site (estimator & crew) that she had a dog and the gates needed to be closed. Well, that did NOT happen. Not only did the crew leave a gate open, it was left open with a pile of dirt between the gate and the post it needed to be latched to!!!! So in the dark, with a flashlight, my 83yo mother (with terrible balance, btw) had to make her way over to the far side of the house and struggle to get the gate shut. Seriously, guys???? If her dog had gotten out, this review would be the very least of your worries. If she had fallen or injured herself while closing the gate your guys should never have left open, again, this review would be the least of your worries. 3rd, I attempted to discuss these concerns with someone about this in person. I called on 9/16/21 and was on hold for 14 minutes before talking to a lady. I asked for a call from a supervisor and I left my name & ph# with her. She told me no problem, and that I'd probably be called from a blocked or restricted ph #. It's now 9/24 -over a week later- and no call back. So hence this review. After our experience with ABC, I suggest looking elsewhere for your needs.

Abc came out for a sewer repair. the concrete was already broken open and they charged $2800 for a 3 ft section of replacement. Through insurance or not that is astronomical in price. they didnt have to put concrete back but left all the poop soiled dirt in the trench right on top of the soil stack. I called in and all they said was "you dont get to dictate our prices" and she has video and pictures of the project. you would think when you are making roughly $2000 in 4 hours that you would be a little more considerate of the people coming in to work after you. I wasnt going to write a review but the way it was pushed off and no apology or consideration for the other project, I feel like I have to. *edit after reply* There is no need to charge the customer more for the weekend work with how much was charged. it was roughly $200 in parts and an hour of labor for 2 guys. to suggest that you did him a favor in that regard is wild. Secondly you talk about consideration to the contractor, which is funny because you know that if you had to put concrete back, you wouldn't have left all the contaminated soil in the trench and would have to fill it with gravel before doing the concrete. Instead your guys filled the trench back with the contaminated soil. We staged empty buckets and had a dumpster on site. I was just looking for an apology on the phone for being inconsiderate, but after all this stacked up I felt obligated to review. I would never do that to another company.

We used this company after our basement flooded about a week ago. I called them needing it snaked which they did come to do. The helper had an injury and made it very well known he was hurt so that was interesting. Both seemed very unhappy to be here. But that’s besides the point. After they were done snaking the drain, I was told “Sorry ma’am, that cast iron main drain needs completely replaced”. $6000. I found it to be a little fishy so decided to get a second opinion. I called another local company who used a camera down my drain which was 70 ft. They let me watch the camera in real time and guess what there were ZERO breaks. Just a few tree roots this company left behind. ABC also decided to leave the remnants on my floor they got out. I am still in shock ABC almost scammed me into needing that drain replaced. I also found it interesting they said my drain was cast iron when it is actually clay. They had no idea what was in there without a camera. Do not hire this company! If you do, make sure you watch the camera in real time to be sure they don’t show you someone else’s broken drain.

Honest, straight forward and personable... I had 911 plumbing come out and offer me two options to clean out roots from a clogged sewage pipe. They called me back and said that option one "snake" didnt work so they "have to" use option two anyway and they would be double billing me! 911 used option 2 and it failed and they said I would have to pay them to bring out a camera system. They were going to bill me a third charge for that and I told them to just go away. I called ABC to ask them their opinion on this, and they said they dont even use snakes anymore, they are inefficient compared to water jets and do more potential damage. She said they would come look at my drains at no cost because I got cheated by another plumber. They ran a camera down my lines and found the issue was not roots... the city had failed to connect my sewer lines under the street during a recent project. They were professional direct and found the problem quickly.

Are you looking for a plumber that does a great job look no further then ABC Drain and Pluming. We had a water like basically disintegrate and we have the warranty through home serve. So we called homeserve and they sent out case to ABC and they were backed up but got out here in a decent time. The first tech came out and seen my bandage job I did on the pipe to be able to wash dishes. He said let me get as many pictures as I can to get this to homeserve but I think we need to just replace it from the sink all the way down not just this piece. So he submitted pics and got a call that Monday and it was approved. Tech two came out and we showed him where and what needed done and he he said give me an hr and I'll be out of your hair. He did the job fast and efficient and made it look better then it was. Came in with boot covers and was super professional. If your in the need please give these people a call you won't be disappointed.

Completely frustrated with the lack of follow up on our incomplete install and the questions we had around getting it resolved. Told to send in pictures and then never heard anything for a full month. They even sent someone out to take care of a leak we had with the new fixtures and he took pictures and said he would escalate. Again, sat waiting for a response for another week. Finally, they told us a manager or owner would call same day to address, but guess what, they didn't. Not to mention everyone we spoke with claimed they had no clue what was going on. The running around I was made to do to make it look like they were going to respond/assist and complete our project per agreed upon estimate was such a waste. Everything started out fine but they've completely dropped the ball on wrapping up our project and providing us with a resolution. Thanks for leaving us with an exposed hole in our wall and mismatched plumbing

ABC are the Absolute Best! I called in a panic one morning as I was coming out of the basement from switching loads of laundry and I saw my hot water tank leaking!!! They calmed me down and told me they could get someone out to look at it that day. Let me tell you...by the time I came home from work they had the new water heater installed, old one removed, all cleaned up and I was able to take a hot shower!!! ABC for the win EVERY time! I have used them for toilet installs, sink faucets and valves along with my utility sink in the basement, my daughter had them install a new stack at her house! They do it all, super fairly priced comparatively speaking and a local family owned business!!! No one I would rather do business with! Rob and Rebecca and staff get it done :-) Erica

The work done was excellent. The clean up was done very poorly. It took 2 months for them to get back to my house. They took my orange cones. The cement crew left a mess that is still in the street. The landscaper threw the left over chunks cement into the ground, then does through dirt never leveled it out through grass seed on it and put the straw on there. They didn't even do the holes that were damaged by the front loader so I still have Marks in my yard that we're not taking care of I have called twice. I've gotten a return phone call instead of just sending out a crew and making it good. They keep calling me. They've never returned my orange cones. I've never made my yard look like it used to So now I have to go out get my own dirt redo it and get my own grass seed

I had ABC out to my house on 7/28/15 to run water lines from the curb box to my house. They did excellent work. When I originally called for an estimate they were out within 2 business days and they gave me the quote on the same day. Other plumbers took over a week to get out to review the work and a couple more weeks before I got the quote. ABC was 30% less expensive than the "other" plumbing company. I have additional plumbing work that needs performed and I will be calling ABC again and referring anyone who needs plumbing work to contact them. Fast Friendly service! They were very knowledgeable on what they were doing as well. They arrived on time (actually a little early and I was okay with that!) I have nothing bad to say about this company. GREAT job!!!

We have used ABC over the past few years with excellent service and recommended them. That streak ended last week after a simple faucet change for a remodel resulted in the tech taking the faucet he removed and we intended to reuse. We called the next day to request it be returned and was advised unfortunately it could not be found and they usually remove items. They apologized for the mistake and implemented a new procedure to ask the homeowner if they wanted items removed. Unfortunately, they chose not to offer any restitution for their mistake as we intended to reuse the faucet. A company who doesn’t value repeat customers is surprising in today’s business environment and choices… onto another company with integrity. Good luck ABC.
