What reviewers report — the concerns
Other directories bury these. We think you should read them before you call. Every concern below comes from the reviews it cites.
Red flag
Use of third-party contractors without price transparency: One reviewer was quoted a price based on Warrior's contractor, but Warrior then subcontracted the work, could not meet the original price/timeline, and refused to discount for inconvenience or reschedules.
Cited in 1 of the 120 reviews we analyzed.
Red flag
Cleanliness/mess issues on 2 separate occasions: Two reviews (from 2024 and 2021) mention leaving messes—clogged sink work resulted in bathtub mess; unclear if operator error or systemic.
Cited in 2 of the 120 reviews we analyzed.
High diagnostic fee ($250) that may deter initial contact: One reviewer explicitly criticized the $250 site visit charge as a barrier to getting quotes, and chose a competitor partly for this reason.
Pricing significantly above market in some cases: One detailed review documented Warrior's pinhole leak repair quote at $895–$1,025 vs. competitor's $500 for identical work (2x markup); another reviewer's estimate for boiler replacement was $11,400 before seeking second opinion.
Cited in 1 of the 120 reviews we analyzed.
Deposit requirement and cancellation risk: One reviewer reported Warrior cancelled a Monday appointment on Saturday because deposit was not paid quickly enough.
Cited in 1 of the 120 reviews we analyzed.
Occasional follow-up and communication lapses: One neighbor of a customer reported Warrior's technician did not fix hot water issue, left without explanation, and failed to return follow-up calls.
Cited in 1 of the 120 reviews we analyzed.
Keep it in proportion: these concerns are cited in 5 of the 120 reviews we analyzed. Most reviewers report positive experiences — see the full rating picture below.
The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“TWO WARNINGS: WARRIOR MAY NOT SCHEDULE YOU UNTIL YOU PAY A DEPOSIT! They told me they would be arriving on Monday between 9:30 - 10:30 am, but then cancelled on Saturday because I did not pay their deposit quickly enough. WARRIOR MAY SEND 3RD PARTY CONTRACTORS TO DO PART OF THE WORK! Warrior scheduled the work and estimated the cost of repair based on their contractor, but then could not do the work at the schedule …”
“Do not use warrior plumbing. They left a huge mess in my bath tub from cleaning a clog in my sink. I was told that things in my sink were just disconnected and cleaned so there is no reason my bathtub should have been a mess. I should have called and complained immediately.”
“I had to reset my Google password to leave this review. So this should be an indication of how important this was to me. I am sharing my experience in the hope that none of you make the mistake that I did by calling this company and getting a quote. (They charge $250 just to come out and asses the situation. If you decide to move forward, they will apply $125 to the final invoice.) Brook came out, saw the leaky …”
Positive
“Excellent customer service. Gave me tips on how to handle things before I might need to use them. Also, gave an estimate over the phone without having to come into the house. I didn’t have work done this time, but they did excellent work in the past:”
“Above-and-beyond professionalism and guidance!!! I was dealing with a complicated frozen pipe situation involving a well system, and Brent at Warrior Plumbing was outstanding. From the start, he was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. What really stood out was how willing he was to communicate and guide me through the situation—even when he wasn’t physically on site. Brent made it clear that he …”
