I cannot recommend Carl(in) enough from Vaquero Plumbing! I had the unfortunate worst case scenario with a main line slab leak. Carl, Javi, and his contractors came in to save the day several days this week to get me back up and running. They took the time to show everything to me step by step to reassure me of their decisions, checked in with me when new issues arose, and answered any question I had. They came highly recommended in my neighborhood and I’m so thankful I chose them for this service. They now have a new loyal customer based on how this all went.

Eddie is phenomenal!!! He educated me and as a woman …to me that is key. He was prompt, respectful of our property, knowledgeable and was just amazing. The call center was very efficient and kind. The office lets the customer know when the tech will arrive. Eddie also shared an option for the “ club” a yearly check on all shut off valves etc in the home. I would call this company again in a heartbeat. I very much appreciate how the entire company operates from start to finish!!! The little extra touches down to not walking on the grass just supports their professionalism. THANK YOU EDDIE.

I hired Vaquero Plumbing as the plumber for a bathroom remodel. First, the gentlemen who came out to do the work were good people and easy to welcome into my home. The hard stuff, busting up concrete and moving piping went fine; however, they managed to hook up the hot water to the cold side and the cold water to the hot side of my new thermostatic shower system. Took them a couple trips to diagnose that was the problem, but I tried to remain patient. VP had to tear up a new wall to switch the lines; however, they promised me that they'd also repair my wall. Well, that was 4 months ago now. I have given up that VQ will do what they'd said they would do. Just do what you say will do. When you're in the service business; it's mission critical.

I called to get a quote for fixing my toilet that intermittently ran. I tried swapping out the flapper myself but that wasn’t the issue. I had to replace the flush valve if I wanted to stop the phantom drain. I explained this all to the person on the phone. The person I spoke to was friendly and offered a free in-person quote. They were very accommodating to my schedule and allowed me to change the arrival window multiple times. When the plumber came he suggested to swap out the complete set in the toilet tank for over $500. I was shocked. The parts are $25 at Home Depot and it typically takes 20-30 minutes. I asked about just swapping out the flush valve and he quoted me over $300. Too steep for a 30 minute job. I ended up getting a complete toilet repair kit from Home Depot for $25, watched a YouTube video, and did it all myself in 30 minutes. Saved me $500. I was expecting that hiring someone to switch out the tank components would cost $150-200, which is reasonable for a quick job. If anyone gets a quote higher than this I recommend going with another company or just fixing it yourself… it’s actually easy!

What a great experience! From booking the appointment to the completion it was seamless and everyone I talked with was great. Eddie came out and explained everything he was doing, showed me what the issue was, fixed it and checked to make sure we were all good. He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable. Water heater had a meltdown on Christmas break, leaked all over the closet and started molding, even going through the wall to my bedroom closet. I will only be using Vaquero Plumbing from now on. They provided amazing service when having my old shower valves replaced. They had to special order a cover plate due to the original design but quickly found the required part and kept updated with install. I highly recommend.
