I had a very positive experience from the first phone call to the tankless water heater installation. The tech, Russ, was professional, knowledgeable, timely, courteous, and efficient. Thankful for his work. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this company.
The technician Chris was very timely, polite, and helpful. We had issues with our water heater putting it smelly sulfer/rotten egg scented water. The technicians that did initial install left us high and dry. Through Home Depot we were paired with US water heating solutions for the warranty repair. As it turns out, we needed a powered anode rod to combat the minerals in the well water. Chris came out and drained the tank, and bleached it to kill all the bacteria that was left behind. He returned the following day, installed the anode rod, refilled the tank, and sure everything was in good working order. Chris was very knowledgeable, proficient, and put our minds at ease. 10/10 will recommend US water heating solutions to anyone needing an install or repairs!!!!
I tecently had U.S. Water Heating Solutions install a new hot water heater in my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the initial call, their team was responsive, professional, and transparent about options and pricing. The technician arrived on time, worked efficiently, and did a clean, high-quality installation. He even took the time to explain how the new unit works and gave tips for maintenance. Hot water was restored quickly with no mess left behind. Highly recommend them for anyone needing water heater replacement – great service from a reliable, company!
Waited three days for them to tell me the brand new unit is not working bc my vent is too long. They stated the new unit was not working bc of the vent yet my last unit worked for 13 years with no problem with the same vent. Then charged me $300 to do nothing. Now I’m out a $1000 unit plus $300.
Horrible to do service with. Supposed to do warranty work on my HWT that was just purchased 4 days ago that doesn’t even work and they will only come do the work that’s convenient for them.
This company is the worst I have ever encountered in my 57+ years! I bought a brand new AO Smith water heater and the day after it was installed the T&P valve started leaking. I called the manufacturer of the unit and they gave me this company to call for warranty. Before the appointment could be scheduled he wanted my CC info. I asked why and he said it was company policy in case it was not a covered Item. He assured me that my problem should not be a issue. When the tech showed up he handed me a tablet to sign and I asked what that was for and he said it was for authorization for the warranty work. He then proceeded to my water heater and put a pressure valve on the drain valve and opened it up and read and took a photo of the pressure valve. He then told me this was not a coverd item because my pressure was too high and I would be charged a servcie call. I asked what that was and he said $295.00. He wasn't at my house more than 10 minutes and they charged me the $295.00!!!! What a scam! The manufacture had asked for my email before giving me their number and sent me a email with common reasons for leaks, guess what? The pressure being too high was the first thing listed! This all could have been handled by explaining that I should first purchase a $15 guage and test the pressure. If it was in range then it would have been covered if it was out of range they should have advised to have a PRV valve installed for the concern. They knew damn well what was going on and they knew they would charge me $295.00 before they even sent a tech out. I tried to dispute it with my CC company and because I signed the tablet that "authorized the warranty repair" that I was on the hook for the fee. They told me to call the company to try and resolve the issue. When I call the number it now says ït's not a working number" So, either they blocked my number or changed theirs either way I can not get a hold of them anymore. My next step it to turn all my information about this predatory and deceitful practice to the Attourney Generals office and let them deal with them. The fact they have a "F" rating with the BBB ought to tell you someting about this company. Buyer Beware!!!!!

The technician that came on site was friendly and helpful. The business side of this place nickel and dimed me. They charge $170 to come out and then $70 every 30 minutes. I was given a four hour window. Unfortunately, for me nobody was available to pick up my kids when school let out. Which, of course, was the exact time the technician was finally able to get to me. As a result he was waiting for me for ten minutes. Management goes by the technician's GPS so they clocked him at my house for 39 minutes. The guy was actually in my house for maybe 30 minutes, but they went ahead and charged me the full $70. I called and asked if they could do anything to help me and the guy on the phone just shrugged and said, "nothing I can do." He actually said I could've rescheduled. which would have meant another day of showering in cold water. All of this is their prerogative as the business owner. I'm just exercising my prerogative to say don't bother with them. Money is tight for a lot of us now and there's no reason to use a company that will squeeze every last cent from you. Go with a service provider that will help you out. You deserve it.
At first I was thrilled to find a company that had technicians who knew about tankless water heaters. I was without hot water for three days and getting an error code on the unit. The rep that scheduled the service as a flush and possible change sensors.. The tech came the following day. He seemed knowledgeable and explained that he was unable to flush the system because there was no valve to attach a hose- not really the issue because after calling the manufacturer, the error code had to do with the heat exchange. After $295 to change out the sensors, he was suppose to have the company contact me with a price for a new unit and fix the heat exchange. Still no hot water. Next day- no contact from the company on pricing...when I called, I was told" they are working on it". Following day- called another company to install a new unit. Called US Water Heating Solutions to get my money back. Not only were they rude, unprofessional, unapologetic...but had to talk to "management ". I do not recommend calling them- not worth your time and definitely not worth your money!
*My recommendation: do your research. ALWAYS read the fine print (in general, not just specifically regarding this business). The devil is always in the details. Overall: just trust your gut if something seems off with your bill and/or the work being done. Do I recommend this place? It will not be my first choice just because of the pricing, but yes I will recommend them. Be prepared-they are very expensive. Around $220ish every 30 minutes someone is at your house + the cost of whatever parts they install (+ a huuuge up charge) + labor + a 3% fee for using a debit/credit card. ---------------- *Update: A kind woman in the finance department is the reason I updated my review. She listened to me patiently, and was very thorough in helping me. She even kept her word to call me back herself, and was able to help get some of the money I paid refunded to make things right...which felt super nice. One person really can make all the difference when dealing with customer service. I appreciate her more than I can describe.
In my experience they've been great. I had a defective water heater that they had to service a few times and on each call they we're courteous, informative, and went above and beyond to answer my questions. My water heater was defective and after several service calls the manufacturer (rhymes with Bheem) finally marked it as defective and needed to be replaced. I had had the option to have anyone undertake the replacement but I went with US-WHS because they knew my situation and I frankly trust them based on the way they advocated for us while dealing with the manufacturer. TL,DR: Good folks. Did us right while we navigated Bheem's warranty process. Did a great job installing a new heater when the old one needed to be replaced.
I am a tenant having issues with my new water heater tripping the breaker. Of course over a holiday weekend. On the bright side it was under warranty. I was given a 4 hour window for arrival and received a call at the beginning of the window. WIN! The technician, Ryan, was kind, respectful, clean, informative and helpful. I have extremely hard water, 47! IYKYK, he changed an element, helped me adjust my softner and diagnosed a weak breaker. He would have changed the breaker but the replacement has to be ordered. AND he took my old water heater for a very minimal fee. He made the appointment EASY not stressful at all!! Service and knowledge matter. Thank you!
My water heater services 3 apartments. When it stopped working I heard all about it at volume 10. US Water Heating Solutions to the rescue! One of their techs had a hard to find part on his truck and came out to install it on a Sunday! Super nice and knowledgeable guy. Did fast, clean and thorough work. And he used data to determine the problem and confirm the solution - inspired confidence and relieved stress. I had them come back out on a weekday to upgrade one part that was giving the tech some weird readings. All is now well and I'm glad to have these folks on my team should future problems arise. Definitely recommend.
Technicians in their Arlington Heights, IL location took the time to talk with me on the phone about my problem and told me that at the current time I should just monitor the situation with my water heater and if it changes or gets worse then contact them. They told me how to do a bit of maintenance and that what I was seeing was normal with the type of water heater I had. They did not try to up-sell or tell me that they had to come out to do the maintenance. I will definitely call them back and use them when I eventually need service or a new water heater. This is excellent customer service!
Needed service from U.S. Water Heating Solutions due to a defective water heater purchased from Home Depot. Long story short, this establishment couldn't have been more helpful and courteous from the initial service call to when Jason arrived to service my tank. Not only was he on time but he was extremely knowledgeable, amiable and professional. I can't praise and/or recommend this company enough. Thank you so much for making an unpleasant situation bearable, no actually, enjoyable. Especially Jason. He should be commended in that he represents your business exceedingly well.
