The technician was very knowledgeable and very pleasant, but I am extremely upset that I was never known to me that there was a code attached to this thermostat. When did you install it? Why was I not informed it? Why was I not given instructions that I could understand the lady on the telephone, the Auto voice was quite not what I was expecting I thought you was gonna tell me how to fix it so it was a short time before I receive your service, but I don’t know and I by mistake. I had started out at 72 and I was at that for several hours maybe many hours before you got here what a waste of a utility I would like to be reimbursed for the time that you had me at 72 and I’m in long underwear.
I had to have HVAC installed along with AC, there were 3 men who came to do the installation and they were wonderful! Mike, Don and Chris, all very knowledgeable and so nice! They finished both projects in 8 hours!! I would absolutely recommend them!
Based on my most recent experience with UGI both customer service and technicians the experience was exceptional all the individuals were transparent , the customer service agents were pleasant on point and understanding the technicians were professional experienced on time I would highly recommend this organization to anyone that is having any type of issues with their systems
I signed a contract with UGI HVAC to increase the size of my PVC and put scoops in my ducts to correct some issues. They changed the PVC but opted to cancel part of the contracted work and instead they inserted two flex hoses into the plenum in a desperate attempt to dump heat into two unused returns. This gave me no meaningful improvement and my furnaces continued to go off on limit. Subsequently, after that attempt, they also shut down one of my furnaces. Later they returned with one of the big bosses and offered me another solution, which they also backed out of after they found out I was getting other opinions for the job. I was like, ok, I'll just move on, and absorb the loss for an incomplete job, but things got worse from there. After inviting other contractors in to see what could be done, I was convinced that those flex hoses which UGI HVAC installed needed to be removed. So I asked UGI repeatedly to remove those flex ducts, and lastly one of their guys who wrote up the first contract texted me, saying that it would cost me $350.00 to remove those ducts, but that he preferred that I deal with another contractor. This was after I put down a $1000.00 towards the job. They told me that the partial work for half of the job they did was worth $800.00, and they would refund me $200.00. Now about a month after they shut down one of my furnaces, only leaving the blower working on the second one (the two furnaces were twinned together), a leak developed in the one they left running. At that point I called UGI, because I also have a maintenance contract with them. The UGI service technician came to my house, saw the problem, and then he put in an order for the part needed to correct the problem. The next day I got a call from Bill, one of the big bosses, and he said that he was cancelling my maintenance contract. Am I really supposed to believe that this is just a coincidence that my contract is being cancelled during the follow-up of a service call, just before the technician could return with the part to fix my furnace? This is the second contract that they walked away from in less than 3 months. I was also told not to bother their representative. They advertise "peace of mind", but after my last experience the only thing I felt was unjust targeting and retaliation. I have three kids and I'm trying to keep them warm, but signing contracts with UGI offers me no peace of mind. After Bill cancelled my service contract, my wife cried through the night. It's such an abuse of authority to punish the customer who puts their trust in you. Well after that, Comfort Pro came by with a Heil rep, as I have Heil furnaces. Craig from Comfort Pro then offered me an affordable solution. They did the job, made the adjustments, and my furnaces now work fine together without going off on limit. I have attached pictures of what I was left with to resolve on my own after UGI Heating, Cooling & Plumbing abandoned me.
The service man Adam was the best. He was pleasant, concerned about my questions plus had some helpful suggestions. UGI was there within hours when I called that morning when my water heater was leaking. The technician was efficient & checked everything out & had my water heater in less 3 hrs. I was not inconvenienced that long without water. Very pleased!
