The team was great to work with. From their customer service and communications (Samantha) to the actual repair / installation (Tim, Aaron, and Ronnie) we had a wonderful experience. They took the time to make sure we understood the details of the project, worked with us on pricing, were able to promptly schedule within two weeks of the date we committed to the project, and took the time to clean up the site and level out the dirt when they were done. Highly recommend.
The team showed up at our home and were extremely professional and efficient. Thank you Jacob and Josh for being so courteous and informative regarding our plumbing matter. Kudos to you both Rev. Massey
All we knew was that there was a loud noise and then we could tell water was running from somewhere. My husband called Tri-State and was able to make an appointment for the next morning. Jacob came out and advised us of the issue and gave us a quote. He gave us time to discuss and make a decision while he waited patiently in his work vehicle There was no pressure at all We agreed and he went straight to work!! He was super pleasant and easy to work with . So was Barbara when we spoke over the phone. I am 100% satisfied! Thanks Jacob!
Tri-State Electrical and Plumbing began work on a property I manage in North Carolina. Shortly after the project started, a local inspector arrived and issued a stop order, as the company did not hold the required license to perform the work.
I am a property manager and a member of the Upstate Apartment Association. We contracted this company to replace a sewer/drain line, but instead of completing the full replacement, they only applied a patch. The line was still leaking when they left, and when contacted for warranty support, they declined to take responsibility. Unfortunately, the level of professionalism and follow-through is not what it used to be. This is what can happen when the person who ensured accountability and results is no longer with the company. I will be sharing this experience with others in the association to help them make informed decisions.
Received a couple by mail for a free water pressure check so I called them because I purchased this house July 1 2024 and it seemed that the water pressure was low. So a couple of days after Ricky showed up and checked the pressure at which was very low . He check under the house in the crawlspace and notice that I had ole piping . So he gave me a price to replace all pipes with Pexs piping for a total of $5300.00 and they could be out the next week. So I said ok let’s get it done. The next Thursday two guys came out and did the job but when they turned the water back on both bathrooms worked fine but nothing worked in the kitchen. One of the bumpers the told me that I needed a new faucet for the sink at which time I told him that it was two Months old. So I also had a leak in one of the peck stops so they left and came back and replaced four peck stops and both faucet for the outside . So the got the refrigerator and dishwasher working and nothing for the faucet so I took it apart cleaned all the junk out of it and I got it to work with no help from them. After everything was up and working they told me that there will be a charge for the items they replaced. Then they left about an hour later I received an email and the price went from $5300.00 to $6867.00 . A increase of $1800.00 they charged $289.00 per part so $289.00 time 6. I then called and they said that they would call me back in the morning . The next day around 10 AM still no call so I called them and they said that is the price so I paid it with a credit card and told them I would never use the again and I will leave a review. After posting the review I received a call from the owner and she ask me to please tell what happened? So I told her my story . She then said that she wants me to be happy and she was going to make it right. She then said that she was going to refund $867.00 back into my account and will that make things good with me? I then said very much so . I then thanked her and she said once we hung up she would refund my account asap so we hung up. About 3 minutes later I checked my account and there it was refunded $867.00 . I want to Thank the owner for reaching out to me and going above and beyond what she didn’t have to do but it did make me much happier. Again Thank you
In a word, disgusted. Sewer clean-out back up as diagnosed by a real professional. "Ricky" shows up at our house at 8 am and promptly, to my wife' diagnoses the issues as roots growing in the clean out. Even picked up some old shrub roots and insisted it was covered in sewage... The shrubs had been removed 3 years prior with some residual roots still in ground. "Ricky" knew so definitely that he didn't have to open, scope or even gain technical assistance before quoting us $1875 to install a new clean out. Being my wife isn't the average schmuck, showed Ricky the door after he persisted to have her sign the contract so he could schedule his crew... Called an honest plumber and quickly diagnosed the real problem after scoping the pipe. No roots in the pipes and no blockages that couldn't be immediately cleansed in less than 12 seconds. $185 dollars later, our problem was solved. How Ricky and company feel looking in the mirror ripping off innocent people, let alone the ole gaslighting of a "female" in order to take advantage is the epitome of low. Come holler at me Ricky. We've got plenty to talk about and good luck claiming you $89 service call.
My electrician, Jacob Waters, was fantastic and really stepped up to help me with my issues getting power back to my house following some damage to my line during Helene. We were having trouble with Duke restoring power, giving me the runaround about getting someone to look at my power meter. There was nothing wrong with it and the whole mess was a complete waste of time, but Jacob hung in with me and even got on the phone with a rep to set things straight. He then followed up a couple days later to make sure I was getting my problem resolved with them. I got a lot of peace of mind through the whole experience because he put in the effort, and it was clear that he was sympathetic and genuinely concerned about getting me back online. Highly recommend these guys!
I had the best experience with this company!! Ricky came out and did the assessment. He was very professional and courteous. Tim and Josh came and did the plumbing work and they were quick but efficient! My job lasted two days (residential) and they were so fantastic! This company just wants to make sure the customer is happy. Tim and another guy (I forgot his name…I’m so sorry) but again they did the work and were very knowledgeable. About three weeks later, I had a small leak. Jacob came this time and he was so very pleasant. He fixed the leak and even took a couple of sinks and a toilet that was left from the first job! If you are looking for someone to do your plumbing then look no further!!
I’m in SC and we had no power for about 10 days due to Hurricane Helene. We had power lines down and everything. The power company came to restore our power and they said we needed an electrician to approve the connection, and this is where Tri-State came in with the 1-2. Ricky with Tri-State came to house the same day and assessed the situation. He went above and beyond speaking with the power company to help us get power. As I type this review the lights and power came back on. I would highly recommend they service and we definitely look to doing future projects with Tri-State.
Tri-state plumbing & electric is an honest, knowledgeable & friendly company. I was able to get an appointment quickly which was much appreciated. The reception was so nice & accommodating. Ricky, the electrician who came to my house, resolved the issues we were having & was so pleasant to work with. I even got magnets for our circuit breaker box & tankless water heater, which I love, so we don't forget who we called should we need service in the future. I highly recommend TriState to anyone searching for an electrician or plumber who's trustworthy & knows what they're doing.
I had an excellent experience with Tri-State Plumbing in Greenville, SC! They came out to replace my sewer line, and from start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. The team took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was done correctly. The job was completed on time and within budget, and I’m relieved to have such high-quality work done on my home. I highly recommend Tri-State Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing services — they truly go above and beyond!
This review is written as someone in the leak detection industry - So I all I do is find leaks on underground plumbing for homeowners, businesses and plumbing companies. I get feedback on every plumber I work with directly from the home owners. Every customer that has used Tri-State has given awesome feedback about the response time, accuracy and pricing for the leaks. Ricky is great to work with and as someone who only finds leaks - does not fix them- I would highly recommend Tri-State Plumbing to fix your leak after we locate it.
BEWARE: They will substantially inflate their estimates. To repair a clean cut irrigation pvc pipe that was exposed, washed and ready for the repair, they gave me a $778 quote. They said two guys, two trucks. Absurd! We told them no thanks. We originally called since we were stretched with our schedules. What a waste of time. My husband ended up Youtubing it and buying a $5.00 part and fixing it himself in 30 minutes. I just hope some naive person doesn’t fall for their deceitful practices. They have a lack of integrity.
Great customer service!!! I called them thinking it was another business (different industry). The gentleman who answered, Mike, was very helpful. He provided me the info I needed, directed me to the correct company, and even took the time to get me the contact info. Exceptional customer service! And I should know... I'm Director of Client Relations for my firm. Way to go above and beyond for someone who was not a customer. If I ever need their industry's services they will certainly be at the top of my call list.
