“I called with a leaking pipe in the kitchen. Towne Plumber diverted Matt after he finished another job nearby to solve our issue. Matt addressed the problem immediately and quickly had us "up and running" with the leak fixed, up to date valves and the area where he was working cleaner and neater than before he started.”

“Just had an excellent experience with Towne Plumber! Had a hot water heater that was leaking in the basement and Shane and his team were out in less than 24 hours. Replaced the unit, explained all they did and how to operate it.....all in under 2 hours and at a reasonable price.”
Late-evening emergency call answered and job completed same night — owner personally attended an ~9:30 PM sewage drain emergency.

“Unfortunately had a major leak from the sewage drain of my home. At approximately 730 in the evening I called Shane and he said he was finishing up a job and will come out tonight to help me. I never would've thought a plumber would come out for an emergency job at such a late hour but around 930 he was finishing up and I was very grateful.”
What reviewers report — the concerns

Red flag
Bait-and-switch allegation on water line repair: quoted $650–$850, then demanded $1,000 more mid-dig citing wrong pipe size — 1 Yelp 1-star review (vnkIyW3RlpZB53WO9EmO).
“Bait and switch experts. I hired them to fix a leak in my waterline... they dug up the pipe and had the water turned off then called me back out and said it was a 1" pipe, not a 3/4" pipe...and since they didn't carry 1" on their truck it was going to be $1000 more for them to go out and buy the correct pvc pipe.”
Pricing inconsistency flagged in 2 reviews: 1 reviewer (Kim Farmer) notes a quick repair felt overpriced; 1 Yelp reviewer (Michael F.) reports estimate ballooned by $1,000 mid-excavation due to wrong pipe size on truck.

The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“These guys came out to give an estimate on a water line leak between the water meter and my house. Wanted me to contact a leak detection company for $400.00 before they would do the work. If they had to detect the leak it would bump the cost up to $1700.00 dollars. I just need a 5 section of line replaced, unreal. The said I could save $500.00 dollars if I dug the hole myself.”
Positive
“I called and Towne Plumber took care of me same day. Tate was the one who came out and he was extremely knowledgeable on what I needed, and got everything taken care of right way. He was extremely nice and very professional. I absolutely recommend this company!”
“Had a great experience with Towne Plumber. We needed a lot of plumbing work for our renovation, and Brett did a great job getting everything done in a professional way. He also kept me informed of apparent code issues so they could be addressed.”
