I spent weeks looking for the right company to replace two boilers at my work. Told Plumbing's customer service and bid won them the project. They were able to get the project scheduled rather quickly and even considered the weather so as not to cause too much disruption to our office conditions. The employees assigned to the week long project were professional, trustworthy, and independent workers, meaning they didn't interrupt our work. They left the work space clean and were very polite. The billing portion was simple and timely. And after two months, we have not had any trouble with the new boilers and we have reliable heat. I will use Told Plumbing again for both work and personal projects.

Told Plumbing is an honest company! I had problems with my sump pump in the basement and had another plumbing company out and without really looking at it too much they told me I needed a new one and quoted me super high. I talked to Jon at Told Plumbing and he said he would have Kelly come out and look at it and if it needed to be replaced they quoted me way lower than the estimate from the other company. Kelly came out and took a look and told me it was just backed up and he cleaned it out and got it back to working condition. If i have any other plumbing problems I'm going back to Told! Kelly and Jon are awesome!

WATCH OUT! They will take you to the cleaners! They are a HUGE RIP OFF and completely DISHONEST. $965.00 to jet a pipe. I don't usually write reviews, but please read this before you hire Told Plumb and save yourself a big headache. I am writing this review for my mom who is a single lady and who Told plumbing totally ripped her off. My mom had a clog in her mainline drain. It took them several different plumbers over many days to even try to figure out what was wrong. (It was not hard to diagnose, I am not a plumber and could have told you that when the water is backing up on the basement floor at the main drain that was likely a clog in that pipe. Anyway, the first several people they sent were completely incompetent and could not seem to figure out what was wrong nor did they "have the proper tools with them." So they just kept milking it. During these several days of sending repeated people, my mom could not use any water in the house, including having to wait over a weekend waiting for another guy to come the following week. Finally, the third guy came and decided to jet the main line drain pipe which temporarily fixed the problem. She was then told she need a full mainline drain pipe replacement (going from the house to street). She waited and waited and waited for a quote. Weeks later, it finally came in somewhere in the ballpark of $20,000. Because she had to wait so long, we finally decided to call another company. Thank goodness we did. Problem was Told Plumbing was mad because we switched plumbers due to their incompetency and their unreasonable delays. So what did they do, they sent her a bill for $965.00. For what?? Supposedly for all the time they spent trying to diagnose and jet the pipe. WHAT???? Are you kidding me? That should have been like an hour job or so. But no, they billed her for days of work for their untrained and incompetent employees. So she was stuck paying for their undertrained employees who don't know what their are doing nor how water flows downhill....Or did they gouge her with such an outrageous bill because of spite? Who knows? But before I knew what had happened, my mom just paid the bill. They completely took advantage of an very trusting older lady who is on a fixed and extremely limited income. Outrageous!! Thankfully we found another plumber to come in an fully take care of a partial mainline replacement in a short time and at a much more reasonable cost. Yes, imagine that, when the new company ran a camera down the pipe, there was a section that needed to be replaced, but not the entire thing for $20,000. One final point. When Told Plumbing was trying to sell my mom on the full mainline replacement, they marked on the basement floor where the pipe ran and where they said they were going to have to tear up the the foundation to replace the pipe. Well, when the new/second plumber she hired came to actually do the repair, Told's marks on the floor were not even in the ball park where the pipe actually was. So if she would have hired them, they would have completely torn up the foundation and there would have been no pipe. IDOTS! STAY AWAY!!! Told Plumbing is a total joke.

I hired them to do a Tune Up on my water heater and Furnace and we settled on $150 for the entire service. then a technician specialized only in water heater came, he decided to change a part, it took him 2 1/2 hours, they tried to charge me $500.00, they didn't explain to me that the estimate would be going up. They did not tune up my Furnace, the technician had no experience because he was consulting another person by phone. This company is not professional. I do not recommend it.

Update! After my original review told plumbing reached out and apologize and said that it was a training error and they wanted to make things right so they did refund me back to the original amount discussed on the phone. Took a lot for them to do this, which is why I went from one star to three. Completely dishonest! Scheduled to have them come and jet out the main sewer line. Was given pricing per hour and was told I would have a 15 minute heads up call before they showed up. Came home from work to see them already in front of the house before our scheduled time just standing there and they started working when I showed up. Within 35 minutes, they were done and had left so I thought everything was great. When I got the bill, not only was the hourly price higher than what I was told on the phone, they also charged me for 2 hours plus a loading fee. When I called in they said it’s because the truck gps clocked in for one hour and one minute at our house so we had to pay for a second hour. I told them I have doorbell camera footage of the guys just sitting in front of the house and not even working more than 30 minutes so I’m not paying for that time. After going back-and-forth, she called me back later and said they would only charge for one hour of work but I still had to pay for the guys to load the truck before they came to our house (which I was never quoted or told about) and the higher hourly rate (which they misquoted on the phone). Obviously, they don’t care about being trustworthy or honest, they’re just trying to get as much money for each job as they can. Look elsewhere and don’t trust them, in my opinion.

After purchasing our first home. my wife and I found some water damage due to a small leak in a water line. We contacted our home warranty company who hired Told to come and fix the problem. The plumber came out and cut several large holes in the wall, found what he called a "pin hole" leak in a copper pipe. The leak was not fixed at that time because the HOA needed to be notified the water would be shut off to the building. That was 2 months ago, more than a dozen phone calls to Told, and 4 appointments canceled without any notice to us. The we have left several messages for the manager and were told that she would call us back that day. Told plumbing has not called back once. My wife and I thought the buying a house in the current market was stressful, but dealing with Told Plumbing has been that worst part of the whole process. What is even more disappointing is that I work for one of the most well known premier home builders in the state who uses Told Plumbing exclusively on the multi million dollar homes we build. I have seen the great work that the plumbers can do first hand, but the office staff / management has been terrible to deal with. As of today once again we were taken off the schedule without notice. There is still a leak, and a big hole in the wall.

I believe I got overcharged about $50. The invoice did not itemize parts and labor, but simply stated "Fixed leak on main water line to house and fixed toilet" and charged me $320. The water line was fixed but the toilet still leaked, so I had to fix it later myself. I called to complain about the toilet, and to determine why the overcharge, and why they didn't break down parts and labor on the invoice. This would have helped me better understand what I was paying for. I felt their representative was impatient with me; she told me they just didn't do their invoices that way, and she would need to have the plumber call me about the other stuff. (Don't they have any management that could have arbitrated between me and the plumber?) Anyway, neither he nor anyone else ever called. In spite of the overcharge, I paid the bill, but included a carefully written letter explaining my dissatisfactions, and again requesting they contact me to explain the charges and possibly discuss a resolution before I posted my review. They never contacted me after my letter either. Hence, the negative review. I would not recommend this outfit to anyone, because they do not care about their customers!

$1000 an hour for weekend emergencies? When I spoke to the fellow on the phone he gave me an estimate for the job I described as $250. I thought that was steep, but the seal on the toilet had given way and the little valve to turn off water to the toilet was not working and started leaking when I tried to turn it off; I was desperate to get it fixed quick as we live in the basement and there is only the one toilet. Anyway, after he started working he asked me if I was planning to change the seal on the toilet myself. I said I had been planning on it, but then called him when the valve started leaking as well. That's when he told me he would charge me an additional $250 for that problem. When I protested he just said that was the emergency rate. So, for a simple change of the valve that took ten minutes (he was in and out of the house in less than 15) I got charged $250 and didn't even get the main problem fixed (the toilet seal). That works out to $1000 an hour, which even for emergencies is ludicrous.

Called on a weekend because we found a water leak. Was quoted $200 an hour for weekend urgent service. Plumber arrived, turns out it was a seal issue on the shower faucet. Plumber was in our home for around 30 minutes some of which was spent standing around watching our TV. He did fix the issue, but I just got a bill for 1.5 hours at $300. I guess I am ok with a flat rate of charging for 1 hour which would be $200 like we were quoted. This is dishonest business and I am calling asap to get this fixed. I have camera footage from my living room of the Plumber just hanging out. Will call the better business bureau if they do not correct this issue or be able to provide documentation of 1.5 hours of service. I will update this review if the company can own up to their error and rectify this situation. If not, it will not be the last they hear from me! I don't want others consumers to fall victim to this kind of business. My review is not the only review of being charged more than was quoted.

I replaced our water heater 8 years ago. I bought one at Lowes and installed it myself. (I hate paying people to do stuff I can do.) It had a 12 year factory warranty. It sprung a leak this week so I called Whirlpool about the warranty and they wouldn't go past the fact I'm not a licensed plumber. So I called Told Plumbing and told them I just wanted a new one installed, since I'm now a bit handicapped can't haul water heaters around any more. The guy that does the work called me and asked me about the brand/warranty and where I got it. When he got here, he said he'd take care of it. He ripped it out, hauled it down to Lowes, and got them to replace it for free with a newer model! He ended up only charging me for the installation which was less than the cost of the new water heater itself. Woot! THAT is what I call customer service! The guy's name is "JP"

I requested a estimate on several jobs for my home. I was looking for a handyman mostly. I called Told Plumbing and they sent someone out about a week later. The guy came to my home and was friendly but reluctant to tell me much about what he thought it would cost to get the different jobs done but he did tell me it's at least $105.00 per hour. I said lets try one of the smaller jobs first which we both thought would be under $1850.00. I asked him to give me an estimate in writing or in an email and let's get started. He left and told me someone from the office would schedule it. It's 3 weeks later and there is no estimate on the smaller job or the bigger one's (I estimated they would be over $75,000+). The office never called back. I know right now these companies can pick whatever jobs they want but talk about terrible service. I won't be using them for anything.

Thank goodness for Told Plumbing. Nothing worse than a cold shower at 6 am before work. Well, that was yesterday. Isaac came out after hours to help us. He did the best he could with the old unit in our new place, but to no avail, the thing was too far gone. Flash forward to today, Isaac was back by 12:30pm with his assistant Ron. The two of them had the old unit out, the new one in in about an hour, all connected, and the entire work area was clean and back to normal. They even carted off the old unit. And they did all this to the serenade of three barking dogs without missing a beat. I have their magnet front and center on the fridge should any other plumbing issues arise. If you have not guessed by now, yes, I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Ask for Isaac!!!!

I woke up last week at 7:45am to a big soppy puddle in my basement, the main water valve coming into my house was leaking so badly. I didn't know what to do. I searched on my phone & found the closest plumber, they showed up within 15 minutes & got to work. This company came to my rescue!! I'm very grateful for their prompt service & affordable cost on such short notice. The main shut off valve & shut off valve to my sprinkler system were replaced beautifully! I just received the bill today & first thing Monday morning I will be so happy to go into their office to pay it & let them know how thankful I am. Friendly fast service, quality work, & affordable prices!!

I have been working with Told Plumbing for 7 years now on a variety of residential, commercial, and retail properties. No matter the job or location I know I can rely on them. They have an extensive crew of plumbers that can service any need. Whether it’s Isaiah, Zane, Ron, Brandon, Kelly, or any of their other amazing plumbers you know you are going to get taken care of. They are not predatory, and their plumbers have no incentive to upsell you while they’re on the job site (like some other plumbing companies in the market). I would recommend them for any job, whether it’s at your place of business, or your personal residence. Told plumbing is the best!
