They came promptly on a Sunday, and had my issue fixed, professionally and neatly. Majic and Jack were very personable and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend The Plumbing Source.
I have had The Plumbing Source work on numerous issues in both my home and business. They are very professional have been prompt in responding to emergencies. When there have been less expensive options to solve an issue, they have given me all the pros and cons to each issue. I highly recommend their services for your plumbing needs!
Needed a faucet repaired and water heater replaced. Was very happy with the response time for repairs; Was also very happy with the explanation for what was wrong and why I needed a replacement versus a repair. Plumbers were very professional, work was done quickly. Everything cleaned up very well! Felt the price was reasonable as well.
The women answering the phone on October 27 in the evening was so incredibly rude and annoyed by taking the simplest information, that I can only imagine how your service is. Even after I shared that I was visiting from out of town and the plumbing issue it at my mothers house while she's in the hospital. She made a very rough day worse. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated like a human being.
The fairly new toilet (about 3 years old and was about $250) at my 86-year-old mother's and my house had been clogged and I kept flushing it until it cleared. The next day, there was a pool of water around the base. I cleaned up the water and flushed the toilet, and it created another pool of water. It just needed a new wax ring, so I cleaned up the water and mopped out the water from the inside of the tank, but decided I didn't have time to work on it, so I called Plumbing Source. I had to go to work and was not able to be home when they came. There was one guy they usually sent who we never had problems with, but he was not available, so they sent two plumbers. One was an apprentice. They told my mom the tank was leaking (it was not). I was the only one who used this toilet, so my mom did not know what was going on, and they did not call me to inquire. They told her a new toilet with installation would be over $1200, but they could fix this one for around $600! My mom did not know how much a toilet cost, so she had them fix it. My mom told me they asked for a plunger and were using it to clear the pipe coming out of the floor, and they were having a lot of trouble unclogging it. This is further evidence that it wasn't the tank. Even more bizarre, she had to give them rolls of toilet paper to clean up with. They did not bring any rags! They ended up charging us $628.77, which my mom paid on the spot. I did not find out about how much it was until they were gone. Not only did they charge us that much, but they also made a mess and didn't clean it up. There was black stuff on the toilet tank, seat, and base, the floor, the shower tiles, and the shower faucet handles. They had shimmed the toilet and did not trim the shims, so they were sticking out about a centimeter from the edge of the base! The toilet was not level either. I checked it with a level. I cleaned up some of the black stuff, but stopped cleaning up and decided to call the Plumbing Source to discuss the issues. A representative came out and took pictures. He said it shouldn't have been left that way. I didn't hear. When I finally got hold of them, they ended up refunding me $100 for the inconvenience of the mess and shims sticking out. They did not come back out and clean up or trim the shims. They also did not address the issue of misdiagnosing the problem or charging an elderly woman $600 to fix a $250 toilet.
Our Solon based company has been using The Plumbing Source for several years. Recently we a toilet out of commission in our men's room, and called them. They told me that particular toilet tank had been recalled. It turns out that was the only thing they told me that was true! They gave us an estimate to replace the ENTIRE toilet. A very general estimate at that. No specifics. A Kohler or a Gerber- parts and labor, over $700. We had another plumber look at it, and true, it was recalled. He called the number on the tank, and they are sending out replacements immediately. For all 5 toilets. FREE. The Plumbing Source never mentioned this. Even after several calls. They wanted to charge us $300-$400 for (1) new toilet, PLUS labor = $711. And that's a guess, because their estimate as to what they were offering as a replacement (parts & labor), was so general. "Recalled" means free replacements from legitimate companies. The Plumbing Source just wanted to up sell us a new toilet. Knowing there were four others in the building which were going to develop the same problems eventually. We will NEVER call them again.
Called and made an appointment with them and Brian was to come out on Thursday August 11th at 2:00pm. He called on Tuesday to say that he could not come out on Thursday and could he come out on the same time on Wednesday. Called the Plumbing Source because as of 3:30 on Wednesday he still had not showed up and was told he was on his way, however I did explain that he had spoken with my husband and he had told him that he would be out at the same time as he was to have been on Thursday, however the Plumbing Source stated he said he would be there between 3-4 on Wednesday. My husband stated that Brian said he would be out at 2:00 on Wednesday and never told him it would be between 3-4. Had to cancel the appointment. Will call another company. Had used the Plumbing Source for a previous job without any problems.
Plumber came out to do initial camera inspection of my sump pump piping for a few mins did not see hardly anything on the camera and was charged $325 the next day he came back after we had initial conversation about hydro jetting my septic and sanitary drains along with 3 specific downspouts. He told me it would cost $1400 to do this. He came out next day to hydro jet and spent almost an hour trying to get his one machine working he had to use other line and machine to finally start job. He was not going to do 1 downspout that we agreed he would do and told me it was all in the quote. He never sent me a quote and I still do not have at the time of this review. Very very disappointed in their service as he was worried about time and the price the whole time he was onsite. Will never use Haven again..

Our gas fireplace was leaking gas and our HVAC service said to contact a fireplace service. We did. They charged us $250 clean the glass, vaccuum the logs, add sand, and identify where the leak was. They proceeded to say they could not fix it and to call a plumber. Haven had just been at our neighbor's house to repair a gas line, so we called them. They came out, confirmed the leak was in the valve where we turn the fireplace on. Since our fireplace is 30 years old, it required two days to repair, but they did a stellar job. We didn't want to replace the unit, so it was less costly to repair. A replacement valve was not readily available due to the age, but Haven found one and saved us in the long run. Great, and FAST service! Would certainly recommend them, and use them again.
I needed my garbage disposal replaced, along with a new outdoor faucet and a replacement shut off valve for my othe faucet. The assigned plumber completed all of these tasks efficiently and cleanly. He was very pleasant and professional. I have been using them for more than 25 years. They are not a discount plumbing chain, but they send actually certified plumbers out that are skilled. I had used some local plumbing companies that used part-time non-plumbers to do the work and still charged plumbers rates. Never a problem with any of the workmanship. I plan to continue to use them going forward.
Tyler arrived on time, was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. It was an unfortunate circumstance that killed our water heater. Tyler evaluated the potential problem, explaining the problem in easily understandable terms, assessed the potential range of costs, advantages and disadvantages of the replacement options, and had the water heater fully installed within the three-hour timeframe he had estimated, including some additional work to assure the cause of problem would not affect the new water heater in the future. Very pleased with the service and the installation.
First: Plumbing source moved their schedules around to accommodate our busted water tank, it became a same day service (very appreciative of that). second: Tony came out and pointed out a number of issues with the previous installation, he fixed them all (including installing the new water tank) in I think just two hours from start to finish. Third: We recently moved from California, I think Plumbing Source charges are about half of the price for the same work there. Very reasonable. Five star review from me!
No plumbing emergency is fun, and we had a big one involving an external sump pump during the coldest days of winter. Plumbing Source responded promptly, understood the situation and its complexities, and implemented a short term solution until the long term solution could be put into place. In short, they were smart, thorough and responsive. And the price ended up being quite reasonable. They respected me, my concerns and my time, and made me feel like we were partners. I would highly recommend.
Tyler and his apprentice arrived on schedule and were professional in both appearance and demeanor. They efficiently addressed two issues, provided excellent customer service, and repaired the problems thoroughly. They also cleaned up the work area before leaving, which we greatly appreciated. From the initial call to schedule service through paying Plumbing Source’s reasonable fee, the entire experience was smooth and positive. We will call on them for future plumbing matters.
