Casey and Caleb did a great job today. They repaired our water pipe going from County road to our house. Replaced the portion of the pipe that was damaged by a near by tree. They did a great job. The pipe is working great an the work they did looks great. I am very happy both young men are hard workers and respectfull to a senior citizen.They both are very valuable to E.Dennis. They both have a great future ahead of them. I hope they both become managers for the company.

Customer service is not their strong point. They flooded my bathroom and I stupidly paid them once they fixed the shut off. I asked them to additionally fix the toilet to cover the cost of having a painter come and fix the hole in the wall they created to fix the pipe they cracked. Their response: "No, we can't do work we don't get paid for!"

I waited for them to make it right and they did not. I had Aric come out on 9/13/25. He was knowledgeable and kind. No issues with him. The issue I have is with the cost of a diagnostic for my tankless water heater. They charged me $524 just for the diagnostic fee, not including fixing the unit. This was a level 2 diagnostic which is different from the level 1 they quote if you ask for pricing. This place doesn't even apply the fee toward any repairs the way most places do. Do NOT use E. Dennis for your water heater needs they will scam you out of your hard earned money even in this economy. They didn't even fix the issue and I had my regular guy come back out after the fact and he fixed it without the part they said was needed for them to come back and repair it.

I called this morning and asked if they could come out today to fix a water heater that would not stay lit that needs a thermopile. The part costs about $15 and takes about 15 minutes to replace, but I don't have one and it's on the weekend. He asked how old the water heater was and I told him 13 yrs. but I told him I wasn't ready to replace it. Asked him approximately how much would the repair cost if I needed a thermopile? He Said he didn't know but tech would give me free quote. He said tech would arrive between 12-5 pm. Tech calls at 4:30. Hasn't been to the house. Says there's no point in fixing 13 yr old water heater. I told him I wasn't ready to repair. Asked him how much a thermopile replacement would cost. He said $400-500 (to spend 15 minutes replacing $15 part). Says he'd have to order the part and wouldn't receive until Monday. I asked him why they didn't tell me all this at 10 am? He said guys who answer the phones aren't plumbers... Obviously they were waiting to tell me all this because by 5 pm on Saturday I would be more desperate and more likely to fall for the "you need a new water heater" lie, which is very common from dishonest plumbers like "the original plumber"

I had 2 bad ceiling leaks & a shower valve leak. I was a little desperate. I found The Original Plumber on Angi & saw they had excellent reviews. Their appointment setter was very helpful, polite & professional. She set an appointment for me for the next day. They sent Sam Burton who proved to be an excellent plumber & an outstanding person. He was prompt, knowledgeable & efficient. He listened to my problem & explained what he would do on a way I could understand. My A/C was not working & my home felt like a sauna but he maintained his sense of humor, patience & worked through out the day without complaining. He replaced several ceiling pipes & the shower valve being careful to keep the mess to a minimum. Then he cleaned up afterward. To gain access to the shower valve, he moved my heavy china cabinet carefully without damaging my grandmother's antique china. I have already recommended his services to relatives, neighbors & to my condominium manager. I am extremely happy with the work of this company & highly recommend them to everyone.

I called and made a reservation for someone to come out and check my garbage disposal. I asked the representative on the phone how much it was for someone to come out, she stated that she couldn't tell me a price but it was a "free estimate". The guy came out the next day took a quick look at it and told me it would be $200.40 to fix. I was surprised about the price and he mentioned that it's only .40 cents more for him to fix it being that he was out there. I was confused and he said it's $200 automatically for him to come out to me anyway whether he does work or not. I told him I was never told that it would cost money for him just to come out on the phone and that it was a free estimate. I called 3 times to try and speak with management for this shady business practice and no one ever called me back. I do not recommend this business.

We had a wonderful encounter with Casey. He first came out to our house when we suspected a water leak. Thankfully, everything was fine. We pointed out the toilet in our guest bathroom was running and after thorough inspection it was recommended we get a new toilet. Casey came out today to install it. He did an excellent job and is the nicest person. He explained everything to us from start to finish. Needless to say, we are very satisfied and happy with our new toilet. Thank you Casey!

Demetrius Harryton with E. Dennis very pleasant, knowledgeable and communicative. Gave me several options, had availability within a day, arrived with the materials, and completed all the work within one day by himself (wow) which was wonderful. I paid a little more for this company, but it was worth it to get it completed so quickly. Have used other plumbers and really no telling when they're actually gonna show up OR complete the job .

George was available to come to my home within hours of my call for help. He listened as I explained the issue and got right to work to diagnose and fix the problem. He was very friendly and kept me informed through the whole process. He explained his work very thoroughly and answered all my questions. I will definitely be calling George at E Dennis for any future electrical issues I may have.

Aric Lundy did an amazing job. He called before showing up, gave us an accurate arrival time estimate. Arrived at our home on time, very professional, down to earth and informative about what was going on with our garbage disposal.
