What reviewers report — the concerns
Other directories bury these. We think you should read them before you call. Every concern below comes from the reviews it cites.
Red flag
$524 diagnostic fee not credited toward repair — described as a "level 2" charge not disclosed upfront; customer calls it a scam; separate reviewer was told repair wasn't worth doing but still charged for the visit
“I waited for them to make it right and they did not. They charged me $524 just for the diagnostic fee, not including fixing the unit. This place doesn't even apply the fee toward any repairs the way most places do.”

Red flag
Customer service failure after flooding bathroom during service: refused to cover cost of painter to fix wall they cracked, responded "No, we can't do work we don't get paid for"

Diagnostic fee structure is opaque — "Level 2" diagnostic for tankless water heater charged at $524 not applied to repairs; customer was not informed of the tiered fee before service
“I waited for them to make it right and they did not. They charged me $524 just for the diagnostic fee, not including fixing the unit. This place doesn't even apply the fee toward any repairs the way most places do.”

The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“Customer service is not their strong point. They flooded my bathroom and I stupidly paid them once they fixed the shut off. I asked them to additionally fix the toilet to cover the cost of having a painter come and fix the hole in the wall they created to fix the pipe they cracked. Their response: "No, we can't do work we don't get paid for!"”
“I waited for them to make it right and they did not. I had Aric come out on 9/13/25. He was knowledgeable and kind. No issues with him. The issue I have is with the cost of a diagnostic for my tankless water heater. They charged me $524 just for the diagnostic fee, not including fixing the unit. This was a level 2 diagnostic which is different from the level 1 they quote if you ask for pricing. This place doesn't …”
“I called this morning and asked if they could come out today to fix a water heater that would not stay lit that needs a thermopile. The part costs about $15 and takes about 15 minutes to replace, but I don't have one and it's on the weekend. He asked how old the water heater was and I told him 13 yrs. but I told him I wasn't ready to replace it. Asked him approximately how much would the repair cost if I needed a …”
Positive
“Alain installed some piping to stop a leak that should have been done by the original installer for a Rinnai tankless water heater. He was the consummate professional”
“Thank you for taking care of my plumbing issues. Mr Brewer is an awesome human being, and a great plumber. He is very professional. Extremely knowledgeable, and a tremendous asset to your company. I can't think of a better person to come to your home and talk care of plumbing problems.”
