We had an outstanding experience with TCF Emergency Plumbing & Heating. Thomas handled a major sewer repair, installed a new high-efficiency furnace, added a humidifier, and completed an AC heat pump upgrade along with insulation improvements that qualified for an energy rebate. From start to finish, the work was professional, clean, and extremely well organized. Thomas took the time to explain everything clearly, helped us maximize efficiency and comfort, and made sure all the work was done to code and passed inspection. Our home is noticeably more comfortable, quieter, and efficient, and the rebate process was smooth thanks to his guidance. It’s rare to find a contractor who is this knowledgeable, honest, and detail-oriented. If you need sewer work, plumbing, furnace replacement, heat pumps, or HVAC upgrades, I highly recommend TCF Emergency Plumbing & Heating.

Thomas was very professional and came out to our house quickly on a Sunday afternoon. He was excellent at solving the issue and quickly remedy the situation. Highly recommend.

Thomas went above and beyond to help us with a tricky toilet installation and repair! When our toilet went on the fritz days before hosting a birthday party for our preschooler, he was dedicated to finding a fix and helping us get everything sorted in time for the party to be a success. Kind, knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced without any “gotchas,” and willing to go the extra mile! 100% would recommend TCF Emergency Plumbing and Heating!

I called Prime Plumbing & Heating to come out to fix my boiler last Friday. When the technician arrived he had my boiler working again after only a few minutes which I thought was great at first. It turned out however that the technician did nothing to evaluate or repair the actual problem with my boiler so it stopped working again two days later. When I called to inform Prime plumbing that the problem wasn't fixed they said I had to accept a $1,400.00 estimate as well as a $550.00 estimate for them to come back out which I had no choice but to accept. I ended up diagnosing and repairing the actual problem myself, (the boiler had a f-9 error code which means the igniter is bad but the technician didn't even look at the igniter when he came out). When the technician came over the second time I told him I made some of the repairs myself but I wanted a couple other issues with the boiler looked at. He said he had to contact his office and then left without even telling me or doing any work. When I called their office to see where the technician went they said he left and that I should feel lucky I'm not getting charged for parts or a restocking fee. I get they are busy this time of year but I don't trust this company, I don't like how they do business, I would not recommend them and my boiler still isn't working correctly. Thanks for absolutely nothing Prime plumbing.

Paid them $69 to come out and give me an estimate on installing two parts in my tankless hot water heater. I already have the parts, and they quoted me $1,950 for 2-3 hours of labor. $1,950 for 3 hours of LABOR ONLY! I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere as other bids I got were far less.

These guys are truly awesome. Eric is incredibly skilled (he's a master plumber). And he's one of the kindest human beings I've ever met. He played with my dogs while he was in my house. Who does that?! He and the company's owner, Thomas (also a master plumber) gave me a discount for being a new customer. How cool is that?! And they did not put any pressure on me to go with the most expensive option. Instead, they presented the pros and cons of each approach. After I told them what I wanted, Eric fixed the leak from the pipe attached to my fridge. And he came when he said he would and was on time. Because he needed a longer pipe, he went back to his office to get it and then returned (without charging me extra). He did an outstanding job. Unfortunately, the washer at the end of the pipe attached to the fridge ended up becoming a little loose (despite Eric's excellent work), which caused a leak and damage to a small part of my hardwood floor. Eric came back out and immediately took responsibility for the issue. After fixing it, he called Thomas and they agreed to pay for any and all repairs. No arguments; no games. That type of honesty is rare today and must be rewarded. These guys are first class. What a pleasant experience. I'm so glad I chose them. I can't say enough great things about them. They are rock stars!

We've had a sewage smell in our kitchen and basement occasionally, but I couldn't pinpoint where it was originating. I searched Yelp to find a company with good ratings. TCF was my second plumbing company scheduled. When the first company came out, he checked things and said he needed to do a smoke test to find where it was coming from. He gave me a quote, without ever looking at any price list of $1300.00 just to run the test. Which seemed exorbitant to me. So I told them I'd let them know. When Thomas with TCF came in, he listened to everything I had done trying to find the issue. He started checking everything, and had some suspicions where it might be coming from. But to make sure he needed to run a camera down the drain line. They looked up the cost of the test and I thought it was reasonable. When he ran the camera down the drain he found the pipe was partially collapsed and blocked. This was letting the sewer gas out under the basement floor, then seep up the wall to the kitchen. So, the work isn't completed yet, but it is scheduled and should be finished in a day. They were so friendly and patiently explained all the work that will be performed. I am super pleased with everything so far. Update: The work was completed on time and everything was cleaned up very well. Thanks again TCF.

Editing my review; my first experience with this company was great (see below). I had them back a second time and they told me I needed an entirely new furnace, showing me a photo of "damage"--a photo I did not see the guy take. I got three more opinions (from five-star rated companies that used cameras to inspect and showed me what they were seeing, in live time) and lo and behold, I do not need a new furnace (though TCF said they would pay for a new furnace entirely if they were wrong--but demanded they control who inspects it). I'm so discouraged. If I had trusted TCF, I'd be out of pocket $10k plus. Why do businesses try to do this? So sad. I echo all the other five-star reviews; Thomas responded to my plea for AC repair immediately, and was able to get me on his schedule in the morning. He was prompt, efficient, kind, informative, and most importantly—he fixed the problem. And as if it couldn’t get any better, he also followed up to make sure the fix was continuing to work. It’s an absolute joy finding and supporting businesses like this.

I have used TCF multiple times for plumbing and HVAC since moving here 4 years ago and every experience has been first rate. Timely, knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonable price. Completes the work quickly and cleans up nicely. Thomas is a pleasure to work with and definitely honest. Shows up when he says he is going to show up. The home inspector told me my exterior faucets needed replacing as they were not winter safe. Thomas told me they didn't need replacing and explained why not. I haven't had a problem with them. Since then he has done all kinds of major and minor work for me including new HVAC, water softener, water heater and automatic water shutoff. Even if their price isn't the cheapest, the work is always done well and their prices are better that some of the big companies around here. I would definitely use TCF again myself and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We’ve now had 2 great experiences with TCF. We had suspected a leak between our house and the street so I reached out to TCF asking about estimates. They sent someone out right away on a Saturday for a free-of-charge estimate. Quickly identified where the leak was and stuck around all day while we waited for the water company to come to shut off the main water. Raymond, Cesar, and Miguel were professional and maintained great communication throughout the process. They also put back all of the landscaping exactly how it was before the repairs began. Despite Thomas not being able to be here, he was readily available via phone and kept me up to date as the service progressed. Nico came for the second leak we had and was also really great! Great communication and got the job done fast! TCF will definitely be our go-to from now on!

I have known of Nathan and his business: Colorado Prime Plumbing and Heating because I worked as a board member as VP at an apartment complex for 3 plus years...I contacted him a couple times...he always sent some other person out to show up...or NOT show up. I recently had a plumbing leak that needing fixing and thought I would give him another chance. I explained in the message that I wanted to not only fix the leak but spend a bit more $ to replace the recurring old outdated pipes. Contacted him yesterday 6/25/2018..which is effecting not only my tenant but the tenant below. I explained this in my telephone message to him. Have not heard back...Never heard back from him the last time I called for a plumbing issue either...lol. Very Unreliable. I Do Not Recommend Him.

This is the second time i’ve hired Tcf for a job, let me start by saying that Thomas is one of the most kind and genuine people you will ever meet. He is honest, professional and incredibly fair when it comes to pricing. He replaced our entire vent stack and all waste lines, p traps. We had a sewer smell on hot days for 2 years another master plumber misdiagnosed and wasted my time and money. Thomas got the smell gone and we have all brand new plumbing except our water lines now. This job required extensive drywall cutting which he did very cleanly. If you need a plumber who will do great work and not try to charge you a ridiculous price. Do not call anyone else. Thanks again Thomas.

I initially contacted TCF for a plumbing emergency (sewage blockage and backup), and Thomas picked up the call personally and drove from Silverthorne to Conifer to help me out within hours. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and professional that I have used his company ever since. He completed some updating repairs on spigots and my boiler before I sold my house in October. And this week he helped me with my furnace at my new home in Arvada. TCF is the most responsive, professional, and available plumbing and heating company with whom I have ever worked and their prices are fair and reasonable. Highly recommend!

Thomas with TCF gets 5 stars! My A/C unit blew a fuse going into a 100 degree weekend. I called him on a Thursday morning as a new customer and he had my unit fixed by evening. They were clearly having a very busy day helping people with their A/C units during the heatwave, but they made time to squeeze me in - and even went to another call after they left my house at 8:30pm! Thomas was super courteous and took the time to show me how to replace the fuse myself, next time. I have saved their contact info and will be using them for my next regular HVAC maintenance and for any urgent issues that may come up. 5 stars!
