Swags and Christian Vazquez have helped me twice and they’ll be my go to from now on. When my laundry room flooded and the adjacent kitchen and bathroom were also affected, Chris cleared out the blockage in the main pipes and was really good about explaining and showing me the diagnosis, the steps he was taking and options to address our very old pipes. Prior to this Chris installed a new toilet for us. He’s done quality work and I highly recommend them!

Jaime came over to my house to check on our hot water heater that stopped working the night before. He was quick to answer my phone calls and text messages. He helped us relight our pilot and was very informative on hot water heaters and what to look for, how long hot water heaters last, andwhere to check on the date of the hot water heater’s manufacture date. I asked him how much he is charging for this service call, and he said “Don’t worry about it.” I was pleasantly surprised and I will call him back for any future service and/or replacement. Very happy with his service. A+++

I contacted SWAGS to inquire about replacing my shower systems (valves and adding handhelds). They sent out a technician right away for consultation and I got a text confirmation. The technician patiently walked me through my questions, possible options and what would be involved for each...He even volunteered to tighten all the valves and switch couple shower heads/arms to address my concerns and provide a temporary solution. He also pointed out things I didn't think of/realize, which probably would save both of us several trips if we were to go ahead with the project. (for me getting the wrong parts or missing parts etc) You can tell they want to do things right the first time and they are very knowledgable. Throughout the whole time, I was not rushed or pressured to use their service. The technician was very courteous, and the communication was very clear and honest. At the end, the consultation fee was waived entirely and I got estimates for a few other plumbing projects. I would definitely consider hiring them when it's time to do the job (unless I could get a significantly lower quote elsewhere =P I haven't got a chance to obtain other quotes, so their price may be very well reasonable. Also, from talking to the technician, I feel the company treats its employees fair and well.) Highly recommend to contact SWAGS first for your plumbing needs!

I searched Yelp for a plumber in my area after another plumber I had previously used wasn’t able to make a scheduled appointment due to one of their jobs lasting longer than planned. I found Swags had a 4.9 Yelp rating and they were local in the San Jose area, which I preferred. I also saw that they were a family owned business, and I like supporting small business owners. I needed the water softener pipes reconnected after having had them disconnected during a remodeling project. Christian phoned me about 20 minutes prior to his arrival letting me know what his ETA was. He arrived right on time and introduced himself and took a look at the job that required him going underneath the house. He came back out from under the house and explained what he was going to do. Christian was an excellent communicator, had a great easy going demeanor, and very professional. He got the water pipes reconnected quickly. On a scale from one to 10 I would rate him and Swags Plumbing a 10+! in fact, I told Christian that if I ever needed their services again, I would specifically ask for him. They’re my go to plumbing company from here on out. Two thumbs up! 1/3/26 - Additional review - After my brother told me about his high (over 100 PSI) water pressure at his house I decided to check our water pressure with an old water pressure gauge I had. Connecting it to the hose bib near the water supply line my water pressure gauge read 120 PSI, way higher than the recommended 60 PSI for residential pressure. I previously had Swags handle a plumbing job and was very happy with not only the quality of the workmanship, but the friendly and competent plumber, Christian, who responded. Once again I called Swags and told Jaime that I needed a pressure regulator valve (PRV) because our water pressure was too high further explaining we didn't have a PRV. After texting pictures of the water supply line to Jaime so he could see the area where the work needed to be done, he quoted me a price and explained in detail the the work that would be required and the reason for the cost. I gave Jaime the 'go ahead'. Before Jaime came over, I asked if he could bring his water pressure gauge thinking mine may be inaccurate. Jaime brought two different gauges which read just slightly over 60 PSI, took pictures of the readings, and showed both of them to me. So at that point I realized the installation of a PRV wouldn't be necessary. I offered to pay Jaime for his time but he declined. I thanked him for his honesty and integrity. Finding trades people who have those qualities can be hit or miss. Jaime offered to drop by during the week to double check since he came on a weekend when more people were home, when water usage would typically be higher, as opposed to during a weekday, when more people would be away at work or school. I can't recommend Swags Plumbing enough!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company and specifically Jaime. Sadly, this is not my first rodeo when it comes to a sewer backups. Between my home, rental properties and my office, I have had more than my fair share of emergency sewer backups and dealing with drain companies for the last 30 years. I don’t live in the area but my 92 year old parents do. Therefore, I didn’t have any ongoing relationships with a plumber or a rooter company. Looking for a company online is always a scary endeavor. It was Friday, 4th of July, and sewer water started overflowing a bathroom off my parents’’ garage when they were taking a shower upstairs. At 8 am, I started calling companies for my parents. Everyone was closed or didn’t have anyone available until Monday. Even SWAGS was booked up for the day. I explained the situation to Jaime. He told me he would see if he could find someone. He called me back 10 minutes later and said that if he can’t find someone he would come out himself. Even though he had dinner plans with his wife, he came out at about 3 pm and cleared my parents sewer main. He was there a couple of hours. My car, which is a stick shift, was covering the cleanup. Before Jamie got there, I had a friend come and pull the car out of the garage for my parents since my dad hadn’t driven a stick shift in 70 years. When Jaime was done, he even pulled the car back in the garage for my parents. Getting this level of service and finding someone who cares about people is such a rare thing these days. The work was quality and the price was more than fair; especially for being a holiday! I was expecting a huge bill and was pleasantly surprised. There is a reason why this company has all 5 star reviews; it is warranted.

I called Jaime to get a second opinion on a quote that i found to be too high for repairing a garbage disposal by another plumber. My spouse had agreed to a year “free quote” contract with this other plumber and i have not trusted them the few times they have come out to give free overpriced quotes. And we have yet to use their services they overprice quote us for. I had used SWAGs to fix a problem this other plumber wouldn’t about a few months ago. Daniel Lawrence did a great job clearing my sink drain at that time and left a good impression So Jaime walked me through the garbage disposal issue on the phone. I had used my handtool to jiggle the motor but apparently hadn’t used it forcefully enough. Once I did that and loosened the blades I fixed my own problem. Garbage disposal miraculously works and does not need to be replaced. This saved me the hassle of working with the first plumber that wanted to replace the disposal and clear the drain lines for lots of money. Now i have very valid reason to distrust the other plumber. And give all my business to SWAGs. And it cost me $0. SWAGs just earned my trust and loyalty for future plumbing issues.

I recently had Dan from Swags Plumbing come out to address a clogged sink, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. From the start, he provided clear and thorough explanations about the process. He took the time to go under the house to inspect the pipes, ensuring that he wouldn't cause any damage, especially considering their age. After checking the pipes, Dan educated me on his findings, which I really appreciated. He then used a specialized machine to clear the blockage and went above and beyond to ensure the pipes were as clear as possible with the equipment at his disposal. My kitchen sink had a complete clog with standing water yesterday morning and I called Swags Plumbing based on yelp reviews. Daniel came out at 10am. He is courteous and very professional. He quickly got down into the crawl space to identify the problem. It turned out the long kitchen drain line had two broken hanging fasteners, so the line hung loose so the grease deposits in the low point to block the flow. He showed me on FaceTime while he’s down there. The pipe connector was also cracked. The solution was to redo the line. He gave a reasonable estimate that was later found to be much lower than two other bids I got that day, so we went with him. He and his helper came today on time and did the work thoroughly. He even pointed out some other issues he noticed. They cleared the work area after they are done. I can recommend him and his team.

We had the pleasure of working with Daniel Lawrence from SWAGS to help unclog a pipe, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the service. Daniel was extremely professional and knowledgeable from the start. He took the time to inspect the crawl space thoroughly to ensure everything was functioning properly, then went above and beyond by climbing up to the roof to examine the ventilation pipe using a snake camera. Call 24hr SWAGS 24hr Plumbing & Rooter. Talk with Jaime who ask me to describe my Plumbing issue. Both Master Bedroom and Hallway Bath room toilets were not flushing and the Shower(s) were drains were making bubble noises and sewer dirty water was bubbling up both showers. I told Jaime, I had the Master Plumbing upgraded under the Master Shower & Toilet. Jaime said check your sewer line to street. Bingo cap was blown off with sewer water mess flowing out like a volcano. Jaime said San Jose has 24 hour sewer emergency to clean line from sidewalk to street. Sanitary Sewer of San Jose just left my house after flushing line. Jaime, was a professional listener and provided great plumbing diagnostics to resolve our issue. I highly recommend SWAGS who knows customer service and will call on SWAG for any future service.

I’m very impressed with the professionalism and personal attention I received from SWAGS. I called late on a Sunday night, and to my surprise, owner Jamie answered personally and scheduled a visit for Monday morning. Jamie arrived on time, diagnosed the cause of my backed-up main sewer line, and provided a temporary fix to keep things manageable. He also talked through several long-term solutions and provided a clear, detailed quote for the full repair, which we’ll schedule in the coming weeks to fit our family’s timing. I’ve worked with several plumbers in San Jose, and Jamie’s communication, thoughtful approach, and range of possible solutions really stood out. I’m looking forward to completing the sewer line repair and will post a follow-up review once the work is done.

I can’t say enough good things about Swag Plumbing & Rooter. My kitchen faucet suddenly stopped working on a Friday, and based on a great prior experience with them fixing my bathroom sink, I gave them a call. They returned my message within five minutes, already a great start. They walked me through a quick check over the phone, and when that didn’t solve it, they sent Christian out the same afternoon. He quickly identified that one valve had been turned off, which caused both to stop working and fixed it on the spot. What really stood out was their honesty: they didn’t charge me anything for the visit! That level of integrity is rare. Responsive, professional, and genuinely trustworthy, Swag Plumbing & Rooter has earned my business for the long term. Highly recommend.

We recently had a great experience with SWAGS across the board! We had a leak in our walls going down into our crawlspace and SWAGS sent out a technician on the same day. Christian did a great job of assessing the problem, and making recommendations on our various options. Since the leak happened on a shower we were still under warranty for, he gave us a quote for their repair but also recommended we get it serviced by our contractor under the warranty and provided the details we should give them to identify and address the problem as easily as possible. All this for no charge because it was a quick trip that resulted in a quote! We will definitely contact them for any plumbing needs we have in the future.

From start to finish I was very I was very impressed with their professionalism and communication. They were quick to respond, schedule an appt and arrived as promised. Daniel was very skilled and not at all bothered with our multiple questions. He educated us and gave us options for our garbage disposal that didn't work (let it be because it was not highly used, buy the part ourselves and have them replace it or have them buy it and replace it). Very honest, friendly and trustworthy. Didn't even charge us for his time when he was able to fix issues with needing parts or equipment. I cannot recommend them enough. I will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs.

Had an issue where our water bill was 10x the normal bill. Called the city and to do check for leaks between property and county lines and they recommended a plumber so I found Jaime at SWAGS. We talked through the issues and he helped guide me through various steps to check for potential leaks and looked at the water pressure sensor throughout each of the tests. We identified the issue directly over the phone which saved a trip for him - super efficiency and patient throughout the entire process and was very communicative. He didn’t end up coming to the property but my interaction with him was great. Highly recommend, will be my first call for all future plumbing needs.
