What To Watch Out For
Pricing appears unjustified—one reviewer was quoted $1,000 for work a competing electrician completed for significantly less, with the original recommendation later deemed unnecessary
Aggressive upselling of subscription plans tied to service discounts, creating pressure on customers during estimates
Technical diagnosis accuracy concerns—one technician recommended replacing a breaker that would have violated code, when only the outlet needed replacement

Johnny Tapia from Service Champions came over to give me an estimate on replacing a ceiling fan and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful! He showed up exactly on time, provided the estimate and even answered some unrelated questions about other electrical and HVAC – related issues in my home. He also told me about their membership service plan without pressuring me at all to sign up. Super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend!
I request an electrician to assess the problem in my home. Service Champions sent Brandon. The tech listen to the issues and made recommendations. He was thorough and professional during his services. Brandon solved my electrical issues and made good recommendations for future maintenance. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
David, the electrical technician that was sent for an overall check up was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! He inspected the indoor & outdoor panels along with outlets and made recommendations. He also advised of changes in the industry since my house had been built (1984) and what to consider when replacing the panel. He also told me I qualified for a free quote to replace the panel, so I signed up for that! David was extremely personable and very knowledgeable. I recommend asking for David if you have the occasion to have electrical work done by Service Champions!
Please do not get fooled by the star rating. I am not targeting this review towards the service technician who showed up today. This is specifically about the practices of the company. I sought Service Champion help for Nema 14-50 outlet issue. Service technician showed up on time and inspected my breaker panel and the outlet. Then came the shock. He said it is going to cost me $1000 to replace the outlet and the breaker. I asked him why. he said parts and labor will cost $1000. If I buy a service subscription $150+ from them (we all know how this works), then there will be a discount on today's service. My fundamental question to him was that why $1000 - just to replace the breaker and outlet. My home is a brand new home and everything is readily accessible with no special condition whatsoever. He couldn't justify the price, and he kept on selling me the subscription. after thinking twice, I told him I am not interested in their service any more. I was charged $93 because he showed up. Later I consulted a local electrician. He came and inspected the panel and outlet. He said, If I had replaced the breaker it would have resulted in code violation and might have even tripped my circuit, rendering the outlet useless. So, service champion technician recommendation was completely wrong. All I had to do was to replace the outlet with the EV compatible version. He did that to me for
The service crew did fantastic work and were perfectly professional and courteous. The work was done faster than expected, and the new breaker box they installed, including all the cabling behind it looks like a work of art. They documented every single outlet, light, and appliance in the house and mapped it to each breaker assignment. Multiple details showed they went above and beyond in the course of their work.
