Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Not sure if this is the correct location. We experienced issues with out restroom, called Rotor Rooter. Manny came later that day and fixed the issue in about one hour. he cleaned up well and was friendly. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.

I am beyond thankful for the quick professional response from Roto Rooter. Everyone I worked with was respectful, professional and caring. They worked as a team to locate and fix the issue then to clean up the mess. People worked into the evening to ensure my house was safe for my family to be in. I highly recommend Roto Rooter.

I’ve had three experiences with Roto Rooter. One - we had an emergency blockage situation and John was super helpful and resolved the issue quickly. $650 Two - we got our tankless water heater flushed by Carlo. He was super great - went above and beyond for us. $600 Three - after the emergency blockage, we had a follow up complimentary camera guy come out to check the pipe. He told us that we had an additional blockage and would need to get our pipes descaled and quoted us $3,800. We asked to see the photos of what he saw and he said he couldn’t provide them. We called Rooterman in Framingham, they came out and not only SHOWED US what he was seeing on his camera as he was doing it, but provided us with our own copy of the footage. He confirmed 1. There wasn’t any blockage (it was some toilet paper that he flushed through with water..) and that 2. Descaling would have actually caused damage to the types of pipes we had. It really depends on who you get for Roto, but because of the inconsistency and such high rates, would suggest going elsewhere.

Root rooters response time and 24 hr service are great. Pricing and results not as good. Technician came at night on weekend for no extra charge but couldn’t figure out what the problem was, suggested a $289 auger that took 10 minutes might work then when it didn’t I called for a guarantee return service. Second tech looked at it and said he wouldn’t auger again and I’d have to get a plumber, and all service would be additional cost as only auger was covered. I sent him on his way and went to Home Depot bought some tools and cleared the drain myself in 5 minutes.
