An outdoor faucet sprung a leak during the big freeze we had in January. Fernando from Roto Rooter quickly identified the problem component and fortunately had the necessary part in his truck. The repair was done in no time.
The team over at Roto-Rooter’s work at my home was phenomenal. They handled the process from start to finish with tremendous respect and clarity. I can’t thank them enough for how easy they made this process. I had a pipe burst in my bathroom that completely soaked the walls of my bedroom. It was a disaster. Also, I want to give a special thanks to Mark, who was the primary point of contact, and made everything from dealing with insurance to repairs a breeze. The guy was extremely helpful and made this process stress-free with his experience and knowledge. Thanks a ton! We will definitely be using, and recommending, Roto-Rooter for any projects we come across!!!
I had a technician come to fix a clogged pipe from my kitchen sink and originally I was very pleased at how quickly he was able to clear it out as I had been dealing with the clog since last February but when he left I went outside to put the cover back on the access pipe in the front yard and noticed it was still completely backed up and full of water still and I told him it was clogged in both directions of the access pipe, so he had to come back out here which he got here 4 hours later then they scheduled him to get here. When he came back he worked and worked on it and couldn’t get through the clog and said it was a bunch of sludge, then he proceeded to tell me that the pipe wasn’t connected with my kitchen sink and I should not worry about it, and I told him no, I am going to worry because I paid $300 to have you unclog the pipe and I know it’s connected to the sink because every time I washed dishes I had to take the lid off the access pipe outside so it would come out there and I could wash dishes and the access pipe was never full of water like that until my kitchen sink started clogging up. So he said it was late and he would come back tomorrow morning at 9am and I said I would be there waiting for him. He just never came back the next day and didn’t inform his manager or anyone at Roto-Rooter that my pipes were not fixed and he was going to come back. I waited until almost 4pm then I called to see where he was and why he never came. They had no idea and said they would call him. Then she said he was on his way and would be here in about an hour. 30 minutes later a new guy showed up and said he was the one coming to run the camera through the pipes but he was waiting for the other guy to get here and he was still an hour away. So I said since he is an hour away I’m going to run to the gas station and grab some cigarettes, I’ll be right back. When I got back he was gone and I had only been gone 5 or 10 minutes. So I called and asked what was going on and the girl said oh he will be back, the other guy is still 45 minutes away so I said ok. Am hour later the girl calls me back and tells me nobody is coming. The other guy who was here just left when I did, which I knew he did because the first thing he said when he arrived was how he was upset about being here because he was supposed to be off at 6, which I thought was very unprofessional! Then she tells me the other guy that said he was coming back this morning and also said he was on his way an hour earlier, had just never left and all that time they were giving me updates and saying he was in traffic but on his way was just a lie because he wasn’t ever coming. So worst service I have ever experienced in my life, completely unprofessional and just a lack of care and customer service and I will never use the service again. I will say that the customer service girls I spoke to each time were very nice and very professional and I could tell they were embarrassed about the way the technicians were treating me and I don’t blame them and I would certainly return if I only dealt with them, but the service, there was no excuse for that and I am shocked they would even do anything like that. Worst experience ever, do not use them. Ps. What I really wanted to do was speak to a supervisor and let them know what all happened and so I would know that the manager was at least aware of what both of these technicians did and how they just didn’t fix the problem and didn’t want to stay late and said they would be back in the morning when they never had intentions on coming and didn’t let them know it wasn’t fixed yet, if that’s not bad enough for another to show up mad about being here and then to just leave without even saying anything to me, and for the other guy to be on his way and find out I’m waiting for someone who still isn’t coming. I was told that they were going to inform the supervisor on everything that happened and get to the bottom of it and I truly hope they do, this is insane and completely unacceptable.
Stevon was very knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. He also fixed the issue in a timely manner. I would recommend him to anyone.
