Had Rescue Rooter come to the house the morning of 6/18 to inspect our 10-year-old hot water tank. It was leaking badly from the drain pipe behind the house, at full pressure. Rescue Rooter sent a Tech and called 30 minutes before arriving. Cody w/ Rescue Rooter gave an assessment and an estimate that was agreeable, replaced the entire 75 gallon hot water tank and compression tank, installed a pressure reduction valve and cleaned up. The second tech came and took the old hot water tank, and they cleaned up all before quitting time. This is a solid company and the employees should be recognized, Cody was exceptional and spot on, did not try to sell us anything that was not needed and very professional and courteous. Other neighbors in our 17-home neighborhood will definitely be hiring Rescue Rooter, I already have a couple of neighbors asking for their contact info! Thanks, Cody!
in our 42 year old house, the water main shut off valve in our pantry began to leak, saturated some of the adjacent sheetrock and wood flooring. We discovered this Saturday afternoon. Josh came out that same afternoon, diagnosed the problem, checked the water pressure supply to the house which may have played a part in the valve leaking, and set up a return visit on Sunday with the parts needed to fix that leaking valve and also address the high pressure from our service line. That pressure was about 100 psi and should be down below 80 psi. Josh explained two options to me, and several different financing options. Today, Sunday Monte showed up on time, worked professionally and efficiently and kept me informed as he installed the pressure relief valve and then replaced the house main shut off valve. I could not be happier with Rescue Rooter and the quality employees that show up on time, with the right parts and tools, do a great job, protect the house, and leave me knowing that I don't have to worry about the work they did. The price seemed reasonable to me, and I really like how they cleaned up before leaving. Here are some picutures of the new shutoff valve. I didn't go down in the crawl space where they installed the pressure relief valve. But I will sleep well tonight knowing my problem has been solved.
We needed a valve replacement in our toilet. I called Rescue Rooter at 8:30 and their Technician, Eddy, was here At 10:20. Eddie assessed the work that needed to be done, gave us a couple of different options, and the toilet was all repaired and Eddy was on his way by 11:30. The entire experience from booking the appointment with Sam to Eddy taking care of the Repair was seamless. It was so easy, we really appreciate the great service. Eddie was fast, efficient and friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you for the great service.
We replaced all of the CPVC in our home in Maple Valley with PEX-A because after 29 years it was starting to fail ($20k). In the process we discovered that the builder (Polygon) used CPVC in the crawl space underground to connect to the water main. This material should never be used underground. Not wanting to connect the good with the bad and wait for another failure down the road, we decided to run a new PEX line from the meter to the home ($12k) since there was no way of finding where the connection was in the yard without digging up our concrete patio. A boring machine was attempted but the “soil” around here was too rocky and they broke two bits. Plan B was to bring out three workers (Cody, Marcio (sp), and Max) to use a mini excavator and hand tools to dig a trench instead. These three were amazing workers. It turned into a 10+ hour day in the heat to navigate around our landscaping and irrigation lines. They were very careful, courteous and professional the entire time and patiently answered our questions and calmed our concerns. In the end, the crew that repiped the house (Albert, Maurice, Sean, Marcio, and Danny) along with the trenching crew were great to work with. They left the home and yard in as good of shape as could be expected with something this invasive. It was very expensive for sure. This is my only 5-Star hesitation. All other concerns were quickly resolved. In the end, the work comes with 40-80 yrs of peace of mind. The CPVC was 100% going to fail. Now I can sleep without the nightmare of wondering which pipe was slowly leaking inside my wall (again…) that insurance wouldn’t pay for because it wasn’t discovered soon enough. Don’t assume you are covered.
Monte Sally is the technician who responded to our house to address our plumbing issue. He was very knowledgeable and communicated well in regards to a fix. He was also considerate of our questions and explained everything in detail. He worked quickly and cleaned up everything when he finished. He pointed out potential future problems and prepared a quote in case those arose. We are really pleased to have met him and if a plumbing need should come up in the future, we will ask for him. A big thanks to him!
