JT was very polite, courteous when he arrived; Took care of some small issues that needed attention. Took us through the whole process, and commended us about the continued importance of changing the air filters on a regular basis. Would recommend them highly.
Julio & Anakin arrived on time. They instantly placed booties on there work boot before entering the home. That’s show myself as a home owner that they care about my home. The fact that Julio walk me thru the process and where they where going to start gave me the ability to manage my household so that we would stay out of there way while they work. Julio and Anakin started working immediately and showed me what they spotted wrong. Julio installed a new digital Thermostat. Anakin laid tarps down and started to remove the vents for the duct cleaning. As Julio & Anakin finished one vent at a time they cleaned up after themselves. Here is what is impressive. Julio went above and be on when he spotted the duct housing was not sealing between the sheet rock and the otter side of the box vent Julio took the time to seal so that flow can deliver max output. Blackwell Service has earned my business. I will be needing a new A/C unit soon and I will be using Blackwell Services for sure!
The communication was so weak, after every question I had they gave me almost no information and then said to have a great day. I’m obviously going to have more questions you gave me nothing. And the tech came when I wasn’t home and they didn’t update me when he got there nor when he left, and on top of it after his first visit there he shut our system down completely and we had no idea until I specifically asked if it was working or not after a full thread of communication of me begging for any information possible. No concern for the customer whatsoever. I know they were going through my landlord and they had to get authorization but my landlord said he had pre-authorized the work anyways so the whole repair took an extra 2 days of no AC and I had to house my dog elsewhere. The whole experience was just so poor and frustrating.
Nobody ever called me back. I went to the shop in elk Grove Lodi area and it’s completely empty.
A huge Thank You to Eric Blackwell and his very Professional AC / Heating / and Ductwork Installation Crew at BLACKWELL services !!! From start to finish. Every member of his team worked extremely hard to make sure the installation was done with quality and pride. Starting with Dave Pearson, his estimation specialist, to his insanely hard working installation crew. They were all very courteous, polite, knowledgeable and went the extra mile every step of the way taking absolutely no short cuts . Joel Alvarez , Blackwell’s instation specialist, answered every question we had with a smile and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the job they were doing. Eric came every morning to make sure the installation of our new a/c , heating and ductwork had been installed as of it was his own home. I can not express how satisfied Ashley Young Chatfield and I are with the Installation , and customer service we received from Blackwell Services !! We highly recommended this Amazing company !!
Living alone, I'm very careful about my utility costs and have been hesitant to use my air conditioner because of expense. I called Rellaire to schedule a safety check on my older AC unit. The receptionist was friendly and able to book me the very next day. I immediately received a confirmation text with a service window of 10:00AM to 12:00PM The technician, JT , texted me when he was on his way and promptly arrived at 10:00AM He came prepared with ladders and equipment, answered all my questions, and took the time to listen to my preferences regarding the thermostat settings JT was extremely knowable about older HVAC systems. In the past , other technicians have taken one look at my ancient unit and seemed unwilling to work on it . JT had no hesitation-- he got down with the spiders, and before long cool air was once again flowing through my vents. I was very impressed with both JT and Rellaire . I would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend them. Thank you JT !!
Brandon, Robert, and Anakin did an excellent job installing my new heater/air conditioning unit. Only had minor problems which Brandon (mostly) fixed. Contact with Rellaire/Lemos HVAC administrative staff was professional and friendly. Update: Brandon corrected a few minor items that the Elk Grove Building Inspector mentioned in a report. He came to my house on time and quickly made the repairs. As I stated previously, I really enjoyed dealing with the Rellaire/Lemos staff... everyone has been friendly and professional. Update: Jim Lemos came by today to drop off a ladder for the Elk Grove building inspector. I've met Jim before and he was always friendly and personable. I find all Rellaire/Lemos staff and management to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My rating of 5 Stars for this company has not changed since I first start dealing with Rellaire/Lemos HVAC.
If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. Terrible service, terrible knowledge of their industry. It has been nearly a year since they installed a new HVAC system for us and we have had nothing but problems and slow response (or no response) from them. The woman who answers their phone is rude, condescending and not helpful at all. The owner of the company makes promises he doesn't keep unless forced too. There are many HVAC companies out there. Go somewhere else. I went with the because Jim Lemos sold his company to them and we always had unbelievable great service from Jim. Jim is not involved with this company and it shows in every aspect.
VERY disappointed about the business merger and the fact Mr. Lemos himself didn’t show up to perform the service on my furnace like he has previously. UPDATE: Unfortunately, Mr. Lemos did indeed sell his business. However, luckily, he’s still on staff and actually making service calls. Mr. Lemos himself came to my house three days after the initial technician and he made everything right. As long as Mr. Lemos is on staff, I’ll continue to do business with this company. After that…………? I’ll need to find an HVAC company with the same skill, integrity and trust worthiness that’s been the trademarks of Mr. Lemos’s reputation.
Mr. Lemos, who is still with the new company for a while, came out and made everything right. Rating would be 10 ⭐️ out of five. The only reason I’m only giving four stars is because the tech that initially came to the house did not know what he was doing and worse yet, tried to up sell me an entirely new unit at a cost of several thousand dollars when in reality, my unit was essentially fine. I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of. No one does. It’s unethical and just wrong.
I highly recommend this company. I had an excellent experience with them installing a new heating and air conditioner system. Also a new water heater. All at the same time. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. They treated my home with care and respect. Dave who helped us choose our systems was through and made sure we got what we needed and what we could afford. I will definitely use this company again!
Trent did a great job for us today. He was very thorough with his service. He even wiped down the grates on the filter vents. He also explained how everything works and why it is important to have your system in working order. Thank you Trent for your service. Pat & Cheryl Santos
On word "Trust" encapsulates my five star review. They, unlike other companies don't try to sell me something I don't need, or use scare tactics to push me into a making a decision before I'm ready to. Their prices are competitive and their work is top notch.
I've used Rellaire/Lemos HVAC services for several years and find them accurate and trustworthy in their dealings with me. There is never any high-pressure selling. You get honest and fair pricing every time. I would gladly refer them to anyone.
