Excellent sewer line inspection service! The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The camera inspection was thorough, and I appreciated the detailed report and honest recommendations—no pressure or upselling. Scheduling was easy, he arrived on time, and the pricing was better than I have paid in the past to other companies. I highly recommend Precision Plumbing for anyone needing a reliable pipe and septic inspection.

We had a hot water issue. When we contacted Jay at Precision he came out the same day when he said he would. He quickly diagnosed we had a hot water leak under our slab. We wanted to find the leak for insurance so a leak detection company came out to identify where it was. They found it or so they thought. Jay and his team cut into the slab to find no leak. While this was a bit of a nightmare scenario Jay made it right. They fixed and refilled the slab and he re-routed the hot water line up into our attic and into the laundry room. Jay was reliable, really knowledgeable and has a good team. They always showed up when they said and didn’t leave us in the dark with a torn up house. He also threw in some additional work like caulking in our bathrooms and kitchen sink along with a new master bath shower head. Can’t thank Jay enough. Highly recommend!

I needed some work done and when I spoke with Jay, I believe he got the feeling that I was unknowledgeable in plumbing as I am a new homeowner. He quoted me $800 (I provided the materials). However, he finished the job in 1 hour. $800/hour for labor seems extremely excessive and I feel tricked and taken advantage of. I thought the job would be somewhat complex and time consuming for a price that high. Nope. I spoke with a couple other plumbers and their jaws dropped when I told them how much I paid for that work. I wont be using him or that company in the future. He was also very late to our scheduled appointment. Reply to your reply: Jay, you honestly sound like a whiny child in your response. It's not a fake post nor did I yell at you. You are just doubling down with your dishonestly by creating a fake story in a sad attempt to deflect responsibility, gain sympathy from readers and save face. You were greedy and dishonest, therefore you earned a one star review and lost future business. Learn from your mistakes and move on, kiddo.

I'll leave one start as I can't give them zero. My recent encounter with Precision Plumbing left me utterly frustrated and regretful, prompting me to share my experience as a cautionary tale for others contemplating their services. The lack of professionalism exhibited by Precision Plumbing was consistently apparent throughout our interactions. On not one, but two occasions, they failed to show up at the scheduled times, leading to inconveniences and disruptions to my daily routine. Precision Plumbing's inability to adhere to basic time commitments raises serious questions about their reliability and competence as a service provider. Communication with Precision Plumbing was equally disheartening. Attempts to address the delays were met with a barrage of excuses and evasive responses. Promises made regarding their arrival times proved to be nothing more than empty words, as their actions demonstrated a complete disregard for punctuality and customer courtesy. In summary, if you are in search of a reliable and professional plumbing service, I strongly advise against considering Precision Plumbing. Save yourself the frustration, disappointment, and potential additional costs by opting for a company that values integrity, punctuality, and quality workmanship – qualities that Precision Plumbing seems to sorely lack. There are undoubtedly more dependable options in the market, and Precision Plumbing is certainly not one of them.

Two Sentence summary: Trustworthy & knowledgeable Oly of "Detail Plumbing" saved me over $800 as the replacement faucet I was going to buy when I had my faucet problems was the "Moen Align Brushed Gold One-Handle High Arc Pulldown Kitchen Faucet (Model 5923BG; $778.65 at the time)" and that does not even include the estimated installation cost from his wonderful business! Oly patiently helped me through phone call and text to get a FREE replacement part along with advice on how to install it; when he could have easily taken my money as I had no hesitation to buy the faucet and pay him to do the work due to all the 5 star reviews I saw on this great platform :) Full Review: I called Oly inquiring about kitchen faucet replacement services since I may be in need of a new kitchen faucet. I asked if he could accept text as I created a video to show him. He said yes, please send and I texted him a video I made that showed the problem, how the sink is connected under the sink & 3 images that show the problem in detail. I uploaded the video along with other information to the internet so he can see everything in detail without having to make a trip out to my house :). I also mentioned I was interested in several faucets as a replacement, my top choice being a "Moen Align Brushed Gold One-Handle High Arc Pulldown Kitchen Faucet (Model 5923BG; $778.65 at the time)." I asked if he could help me & the next steps for us to work together. After reviewing the information I shared, Oly PROMPTLY let me know that I likely could get a FREE replacement part via warranty!! Oly shared how I could find that information from the faucet itself. I did as told and VOILA!! I went through the warranty process with Pfister (company who made faucet) who said I was under warranty and gave me a "Case ID number" exactly as Oly described the process would be like :) After the warranty process was created, I was given a link from Pfister (https://www.pfisterfaucets.com/parts-support/case-details) to view details about it and more. When I got my replacement part, it was easy to install just as Oly described! All in all, Oly is an amazing person who I appreciate greatly as he could have just said, yes he can replace, and let me buy an $800 faucet plus pay him to install it. Instead, Oly with integrity, thoughtfulness and SUPERIOR customer service, patiently helped me get a replacement and would not take any money from me when I offered it to him for his time on the phone :O Oly, you are the "Plumber Of The Century" in my book and anytime someone local to the area asks if I know anyone who can help with plumbing issues, Oly and his great business "Detail Plumbing" is who I say without hesitation!!!! Many can see all the 5 star reviews "Detail Plumbing" has. This proves Detail Plumbing is a business you can trust with your money and time!!!! They will treat you with superior customer service plus they have integrity as a business!! They are not in the business to get the most money out of you; they are in business to solve your problem the BEST & MOST COST-EFFICIENT WAY POSSIBLE, the same practice I adhere to in my own businesses! Being a very busy businessman myself, I'm glad after months of having my issue resolved I finally have time to write a review for this wonderful business!! TL;DR - subpar inspection, lack of accountability, deceitful billing + prompt responses, friendly Hired them for a laundry room backflow / toilet issue and was told after examination that the source was a main line clog due to overgrown tree roots. The new quote was ($260) more than doubled the initial but it was understandable enough due to the size of the job. Within days, the tenants experienced the same problems so I called Detail Plumbing back out to remedy the issue. Afterwards, other than a text from the technician saying "done" and a short description of a kitchen clog (missed during the initial inspection), I received no other information nor any mention of a new charge. However, I received an invoice for an additional $120 later that night over email. I understand that a job might be more expensive than the initial estimate but the first careless inspection led to further water damage and the unwillingness to stand behind their original work is disappointing. Hidden charges not initially explained or agreed upon are just icing on a foul-tasting cake. With the many plumbers in the area, save the headache and hire one that would fix it right the first time and bill you honestly.

These guys are great. They are fairly priced and respond very quickly. I texted the number and got a response within minutes. Came out the next day and fixed my leaky shower head. They provided a quote over text and honored it without trying to upcharge anything else. They did have to charge for a extra part that they did not anticipate in the original quote. But it was only $10 and they provided the Home Depot receipt, so they did not even make any money from the part. This was the second company to provide an estimate, the first one was typical bait and switch. The first place said they charge $49 for home visit, which they waived after I said forget it. Then when they did arrive to do the visit, they quoted almost double what I ended up paying!!! Not only that, they started to hot sell me some other "maintenance service" which I did not want. But they "packaged" it with this fix to offer me a "deal". Overall they wanted over $500 from me. Detail Plumbing blew them out of the water in price and customer service. They were able to provide quick diagnosis with just a picture I provided via text. Will definitely be using these guys again for any plumbing issues.

We are super happy and grateful to have found detail plumbing and to have gotten Olly! Not only was he knowledgeable about what we needed, he was willing to come back if needed. Basically we needed a Shampoo bowl installed in a new salon in Citrus Heights that required permits and city approval. The first guy quoted the job at $6,000!! :O ...I will not name them to avoid embarrassing them lol. We knew the price was unreasonable so we continued our search. Olly was able to come in and knock out the job within an hour and under $400! Thank you so much! We knew $6,000.00 and a weeks work didn't make sense. On top of that he was willing to come back to make a minor adjustment (at no charge) that the city inspector required. We will definitely be calling you guys back if we are ever in need of a plumber again and of course requesting Olly!!

Oly was really great. His services and quality of work is top notch. I cannot speak more highly of him and his company. I reached out after panic searching for a plumber on Yelp, and Oly happened to be available same day and was very reasonable in his fees (which are very well deserved). He replaced the valves for my washing machine and made sure the job got done right, as well as called out other things to keep an eye on while he engaged in his work (e.g. water heater and main house water valve may need to be replaced soon - as a maintenance repair vs. emergency replacement repair). I just moved to the greater Sacramento area, and have found my new go-to company for all plumbing needs. I could add more words and descriptions, but suffice to say that I can breath a sigh of relief as long as Oly is around.

Our water heater had stopped working on us right before the weekend. After a quick search, and a scheduled appointment for after the weekend that didn't work out elsewhere, we were scrambling to find someone to fix our issue. We called Detail Plumbing and luckily scheduled an appointment for the next day. We ended up ordering our water heater the same day with delivery the next day, and at a cheaper price than the quotes we were getting elsewhere with the plumber ordering it, and replacing it thanks to the information Detail Plumbing gave us. The following day Detail Plumbing arrived on time, install went great, answered all questions, and we hot water again! Would absolutely recommend Detail Plumbing. For any future needs they are at the top of our list.

We first used Jay from Precision Plumbing back in January to replace our pool pump, and he did a great job… very professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. Because of that positive experience, we called on him again to fix a leaking bathtub faucet, install two bidets, check our sinks, and flush the water heater. After inspecting the water heater, Jay found there were no sediments and let us know a flush wasn’t necessary, he didn’t charge us for that either. He was flexible with scheduling, offered competitive pricing, and showed excellent expertise throughout. Jay is not only professional but also personable, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend Precision Plumbing for honest, reliable, and top-quality service!

Oly at Detail Plumbing is fantastic. I reached out needing a full sewage line replacement for my house and he responded within minutes. He quickly came out to inspect the project, and gave me a competitive proposal versus other plumber's bids. He was on time on the planned project date, and leading up to the project communicated easily via text and electronic invoicing (super easy and convenient). During the install an unknown leak was discovered (in a wall in my house), and Oly quickly fixed it free of charge. I decided to go with Detail based on their past stellar reviews and was not disappointed either. I will undoubtedly be calling Detail Plumbing first for any future projects. Exceptional work at a fair price.

We would like to recommend our skilled and reliable plumber if you need one now or simply want to note this information for when you do need one! Detail Plumbing is owned and run by Oly. First of all he is incredibly honest (no hidden or surprise charges). He doesn't make you wait, if he's free he shows up or makes it a point to get to you as soon as he can . His first action is to assess the problem, and he is a pleasure to work with. He takes good care of every project (large or small.) We recently needed to replace our bathroom sinks. He recommended a kitchen and bath store and like the other jobs he's done here we were more than pleased with his installation. 916-545-4749

Our kitchen sink got clogged, and like anyone, we tried for two days to rectify the situation on our own, in since making things worse in the end. Finally, fed up, I called Detail Plumbing. Only answered advised me he would come out in the afternoon and quoted me a price for the service. I received a text about a half-hour to an hour later saying they would come out earlier than they planned. However, once they arrived, they were able to unclog the clogged drain and correct our pipe issues as well. They offer a two-month warranty for their service and are very quick and do a fantastic job. If you require a Plumber and are in the area, I recommend Detail Plumbing.
