Just had Saul leave our house having fixed a leaking toilet. Saul assessed that the work done 2 years ago by Planet Plumbing qualified for warranty, so a major expense was avoided(!). Needless to say we are more than impressed. Saul showed photos before and after the repair along with simple explanation of the work done. We’ll be keeping his card permanently on file!

What a relief! I have an old house and Planet sent their most experienced drain lead, Mike ("Steedo") who did an awesome job clearing our backup. While here, we discovered that my basement floor drain trap was not clearing. He took the time and extra effort to remove a rock, a marble, and TWO drain caps from down in the trap that were wedged into the outlet to clear it and getting it working again. He also capped a couple of lines that had sewer gas, and he helped me move some heavy washing machines. A great work ethic from Steedo compared to younger plumbers I've worked with in the past who would just be in-and-out with the least work possible To add to this, my sewer backup happened after 9pm on Christmas eve. Naturally, I was freaking out because there's no way I was going to get a plumber in to clear our line until AFTER Christmas, let alone schedule one or get estimates, etc. So I did my research and settled on Planet. I submitted the web form and just hoped for the best for a prompt response after Christmas (holidays with no plumbing is ... not fun). Lo and behold, I heard from Planet on Christmas day and they scheduled Steedo for first thing in the morning after. Really good communication even on Christmas day!

Best service ever! My water heater pipe had a leak. Josh came out the day after Christmas and took a look and did everything perfect. Incredible customer service, I will most definitely make Planet Plumbing my go to plumber from now on. Thank you, Josh!

Had toilet leak and $267 later, the toilet was removed and a new riser was put in. Drain was capped. Floor had to be replaced. All this was fine. I was told it would be $25 / quarter hour to put the toilet back on. Called today and they forgot all about it. Had to be another $180 for first hour, starting over again. Bottom line: I was lied to and they won't own up to it. Will never use them again.

I called Planet Plumbing because of the other reviews I found on Google's business search. PP is also reviewed here. A giant thank you to those of you who took the time to share your experience. To Planet Plumbing, Steve and Mike, thank you for your honestly and for the work that you did rescuing our sewer line! Honest, fast, effective. So, what happened? It was time for our sewer main to be cleaned out. We do it annually, and decided to try Roto Rooter (for the first time because our regular plumber was booked). Four hours after RR arrived their sewer snake was stuck in our tap, 100ft out. Our sewer line was out of commission and because it was stuck this was a potential disaster. RR told me that the issue was with our sewer line and the only way to unblock it was to dig it up all the way to the street. We have the line cleaned out and videoed on a yearly basis. The previous owner did the same for decades. We knew that our sewer would need to be replaced eventually, they all do, but we'd been told by several plumbers that we had many years of use left if the line was maintained properly. RR would not back off their claim that that our line was damaged and there was nothing they could do to get their cable out. Nothing but dig out our sewer line all the way to the city tap, which is in the middle of the street. Get someone else out here, I requested. Put another snake down, I said. RR insisted that nothing could be done but dig. RR's estimate to restore our sewer: $8,600 for spot digging, nearly $14,000 to replace the entire line. We were livid. After talking with several other plumbing firms about our failed sewer, all provided estimates in the $10,000 range. We found a firm we liked, and NEARLY gave the go-ahead. But I decided to make one more call. Having moved down the list alphabetically, next up was Planet Plumbing. I asked Steve for two estimates, one for replacing our tap and one for the entire sewer line. Instead of providing an estimate, Steve asked for more information. I told him what happened. Steve said he had recovered broken and cut sewer snakes routinely. That he was nearly certain that he could get it out in this case! He added that, likely, there was nothing was significantly wrong with our line once cleared of RR's cut cable. The cost: $185. My wife and I had nothing to lose: we were facing a $10,000 expense if we wanted to flush the toilet. Yes, let's try it! Steve sent Mike to our house as soon as he had an opening in his schedule. Within 30m he had his snake entirely through our line, through the tap and into the city's sewer line. It took another 30m to retrieve Roto Rooter's cable, 30m more to fully rooter our line. Planet Plumbing saved my family from a $10,000 repair (to say nothing about the landscaping in front of our house). We can not recommend Planet Plumbing strongly enough: out of all the firms I rang, Steve was the only plumber who insisted that we had an option other than digging. Thank you, Planet Plumbing! That's integrity.

We had our counters and sink installed today and thought we wouldn't have time to have a plumber come and install our garbage disposal and faucet but the installers finished by 11 AM. I started calling plumbers to see if somone could quote us today. We had a plumbing quote in the early afternoon that I thought was too much and we were luck to get in touch with Planet Plumbing who quoted us half the previous quote at 5:00 PM. They were professional and did the quote in an informative way. We agreed and they started the work immediatly and finised with by 7:00 PM which was amazing they were willijng to go above and beyond on the evening before the 4th of July. Jessie and Ben were professional and did a great job installing our faucet and garbage disposal. We are grateful for their service and could not recommend them more. Post Number 2. December 19, 2025. We had some molding installed 5 months ago. After getting some items for Christmas decorating out of the crawl space, I noticed that some of the items were wet. I looked up at the plumbing and found that water was coming down one of the pipes that seemed to increase when the upstairs shower was on. I called late at night and Planet Plumbing set up an appointment the next day. Chase and Collin came to the house, I told them that base on where the pipe went up, I thought it might be a nail from the molding. They looked around and said that it made sense but they wouldn't know until they opened the wall. They opended a small space in the dry wall above the pipe and sure enough a nail went through the molding to a pipe that was leaking. They cut and replaced the pierced pipe expediently and for a fair price and even found some other issues that they recommended we consider fixing. Thankful we have Planet Plumbing to call on them. We have used them 3 times this year and have been impressed with the professionalism and fair price each time.

Planet plumbing installed a new water heater for us a couple of years ago, and they did a decent job (we thought), although we did have to ask them to return 2x to finish the process (they said they were done, but they were unfamiliar this style & there was more to do). However, when we had them back for a drain clean-out out some time later, we found they had positioned the new water heater in such a way that the clean out could not be accessed at all. While I think this error could have happened to any plumbing company, it was the way they HANDLED it that was egregious. I called to speak with someone at the office to *calmly* explain what had occurred, the guy literally screamed at me for about a minute, as if I was trying to scam them, when they were responsible for the incorrect work (and have records of said work). Not a good customer service management technique. I was charged full price for the clean-out fix, and the first worker that came over to perform this work refused to wear a mask (or disclose his vaccination status), citing "freedom" concerns. Of course people can make up their own mind about this, but NOT when they are coming in a CUSTOMER'S home. My impression is there is a mix of really good, experienced folks here and some less-experienced plumbers too with little training on how to work with customers. There is a BIG problem with whomever sets the standards for employees (the owner) and how calls are managed. Customer service does take time, and has associated costs, but ignore it at your peril.

There was a water leak in my basement, with the carpet all wet, and I needed it to be fixed as soon as possible. After calling a few plumbing companies, all of them requiring me to wait one or two days, the process with Planet Plumbing was a relief. I called and spoke to a receptionist who immediately contacted one of their plumbing techs. He reached out to me within the hour to let me know he was on his way to my house. He was professional and courteous, and found the leak inside a drywall. It was a huge relief to have this pressurized copper line fixed without any delay. I don't have much experience to compare prices, but they seem to be reasonable. I only wish that the receipt I received via email a couple days later was more detailed. The tech had told me about the hourly rate (about $200) and that I'd have to pay extra for parts, which seems fair. He spent less that a couple hours, but the receipt didn't detail anything, only the total amount which reflected more that 2 hours. I understand that he had to cut drywall and replace the copper pipe, but it would make sense to show all of the specifics with prices on the receipt. Also, plumbing can be really dirty, and even if the tech was very careful not to make a mess, it would be nice if they had stuff to cover their shoes to avoid spreading mud everywhere. Still, these are small complaints. Once again the overall service was very smooth and professional, and I would use them again in the future!

Avoid this company at all costs. I had two separate experiences that made it absolutely clear they were trying to scam us. The first time, they quoted $800 for a part that actually costs just $8. If my wife hadn’t double-checked, we would’ve been completely ripped off. That kind of pricing is not a mistake—it's predatory. The second time was even worse. Our tankless water heater had a vibration issue. Instead of fixing it, they claimed it couldn't be repaired and pushed a full replacement. We trusted their assessment and let them do it. The new unit still had the exact same vibration issue—plus, it delivered worse water flow. The root problem remained unsolved. It became obvious they recommended the replacement simply because it was more profitable for them, not because it was necessary. To make matters worse, they later claimed our home's water pressure was "through the roof" and quoted $500 to replace the pressure regulator. When I checked the pressure myself—on the same spigot they showed in a photo—it was completely normal. When I confronted them, they scrambled and claimed they might have used a different outdoor spigot. Clearly, they were caught in a lie. This company is dishonest, manipulative, and driven purely by profit—not by helping customers. Do not trust them. Do not hire them. EDIT: I sent an email with my contact info to your business on 5/2/2025

This is a reveiw for Michael Longwell who performed plumbing services for a rental porperty owned in Boulder, CO. Our rental unit is located in a two-story condominium with an underground parking garage. In early January 2026 a leak was discerned in the garage. Numerous plumbers came to the property but were unable to figure out where the leak was coming from. The HOA of the property then called Planet Plumbing and Michael Longwell came out to inspect the problem. Within 30 minutes Michael figured out exactly where the leak was coming from and what unit in the property the leak emanating from. The leak was coming from the tub in the unit above our unit. Michael determined to locate the leak he would need to go into the bathroom wall of our unit, so we scheduled a time for Michael to go into our wall. Within 15 minutes Michael located the cause of the leak, which was an HOA pipe, and the leak was 100% fixed within an hour. All can say is Michael was a fantastic in every aspect of the work he performed as he was courteous professional and knowledgeable. If we have a need for another plumber in the future, we will be reaching out to Planet Plumber and specifically requesting that Michael be put on the job. Thanks for the great work, Michael. You were a pleasure to work with. Brad

Just OK. They are very nice guys, but did not do a great job on a new tankless water heater install. When I came to look at the work when they were "done," a number of things had to be reworked to be up to a pretty basic standard of workmanship. Air exhaust and intake pipes were installed haphazardly sticking outside the house at off-angles. And the plumbing to the water heater itself was sloppily done, apparently because the required parts to do it correctly were "unavailable." After a couple more hours of supervising the corrections we eventually got things somewhat closer to the quality of work that was promised. I give the guys credit for sticking around and trying to make the situation better by relocating a hose bib to compensate for the issue they created when they cut the intake and exhaust holes without first checking for clearance. I will note, however, that they then tried to charge for the additional work that was necessary to remedy the problem they created in the first place. At the end of the day, it looks similar to what you would expect from a mid-level DIY install. Functional, but not professionally done. Many of the issues encountered could have been avoided if they had taken a little time to plan out the install before beginning to cut holes, etc.

Can you give 0 stars I sure wish I could. I wish the worker would have told me his name also so I could include it with the picture of his butt crack hanging out. We Have had a leak from my apparently the furnace going on for several weeks now. The landlord sends this joke of guy to my house who's an asshole know it all from the start. Tells me the pvc pipe is outside the drain on the floor and leaking into the floor. It's very obvious this is not the problem, Does nothing and leaves. Next day, what do you know the pvc has been in the proper place whole time and big puddle is back. The damn landlord sends same idiot who says oh man did the pipe come out place again. Nope because that was never the problem. Takes A look for 1 Minute or less and says "oh it's the furnace want to look at this. But we don't work on that sorry." Instead of taking a look around AT ALL the first time the asshole tells my wife the first thing he sees and doesn't care at all to fix or even let us know what the problem is until he has to come back. No apology no care in the world that he could have very easily seen this the first time had he only looked. Save your time and don't deal with this shitty company that DEFINITELY does NOT care about your home or any damage that may happen to it.

We had a serious clogged pipe from our kitchen to our main. Not knowing who to go with, I went with another plumbing company. They came out and snaked it twice with no luck. They then called in their master plumber who immediately diagnosed our need for a completely new line for $6800 without even scoping the line. I signed the agreement and they were going to come the next day. Feeling terrible about this, I look them up and they had 1.5 stars mainly for doing with they did to me (going for the big replacement project). I talked to a friend and he gave me Plant Plumbing contact information. I called and fortunately Planet could come out in a few hours. At this point, I was just hoping for a better priced total line replacement. But Saul from Planet felt it could be unclogged. He used a water pressure approach. He and his apprentice could hear water moving downstream past where the line would have been replaced. Saul said he would never recommend a line replacement without scoping it and proving it needed be replaced. I really feel that we've found an honest and incredibly qualified plumber now! I highly recommend Saul for sure but have also heard good things about Planet as a whole.

We had a great experience with "Big Mike" at Planet Plumbing. I called the day before Thanksgiving after our bathtub leaked through our downstairs ceiling. As we had stopped the leak by draining the tub, it wasn't really an emergency. Mike was able to come out on Friday morning to have a look. We had several other small/medium plumbing jobs that we had been sitting on for about a year, so while he was there, I showed him everything that needed to be done. He was patient and thorough, and scheduled a time early the next week to come by. Mike spent at least 9 hours working the first day (the downstairs bathroom was a bit of a nightmare whose existing plumbing seemed to have been installed by creative monkeys), and then came back and spent roughly 6 six hours the next day to finish the jobs. He basically fixed and improved the majority of the plumbing in the house. The new plumbing looks very sturdy and expertly installed. Thank you so much to Mike for all your hard work, and for enduring my daughter's endless questions about "the plumber." And to make things even better, the cost was far below what I was expecting. I highly recommend Planet Plumbing, and especially Big Mike!
