I usually don't post of my experiences, but I'm so excited about finally having clean water I just can't help it and feel I need to share my experience. I’ve been trying for many years to figure out how to get a water softener in my home, but since I’m on a slab with no rough-in, most plumbing companies including Culligan told me it couldn’t be done. Kinetico said the only option was draining salt water into my yard and quoted me over $7,000. Mr. Quick estimated over $7,000 just for a water softener and reverse osmosis system....if it could even be done. They were going to have to send someone else out to see. Johnson Plumbing out of Middletown said they could rough it in by tying into my tub drain—for $2,700 just for the rough-in, not including a softener or anything else Then I contacted My Guy Plumbing, and everything changed! From the very first call, they were phenomenal. Jackie answered the phone, set up my appointment, and kept me updated when Spencer was on the way—something I greatly appreciated. Spencer took the time to explain my options and even told me about an inline filter to help with the extremely high chlorine levels in my water. In the end, I received: * Water softener * Reverse osmosis system * Inline water filter * All new shut-offs * Piping changed from copper to PEX * Shower valve and cartridge repair * A brand-new toilet And all of it was done for far less than any competitor quoted me. The work was clean, professional, and done with pride—exactly what you’d expect from a veteran-owned business. I’m absolutely thrilled to finally have good, clean water in my home.
