very responsive . arrived with in about a hour of call. very professional and solved my problem quickly and reasonably. thank you.
Eugene installed our new toilet and was absolutely fantastic. He showed up right on time, worked quickly and professionally, and had everything running smoothly in no time. He’s not just efficient, he’s a walking encyclopedia of plumbing knowledge. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right. Highly recommend him if you want someone reliable, skilled, and easy to work with!
I had Mr. Rooter do a major job in 2018. They were so friendly and good at what they do. Seven years later, I knew exactly who I was calling. Still the same friendly service and the tech who came out remembered me from that long ago. If I could give 10 stars I would. They are who I would recommend to anyone!
My toilet was making a dripping sound so I called mr. Rooter. I asked the manager how much they would charge for checking toilet. She said each person carries a book of prices and that they will tell me the prices after they look at the problem. Well, when the guy came to look at the toilet, he moved a piece not even an inch and told me it was fixed. He then charged me $152.00!! I told him the lady I talked to said that he would give me a price before. He told me that what I had was in the "grey area" and fixed it before telling me the price. I will never use this business again!
Way over priced. They will try to scam you and will call the contractor board on the new contractor you pick over them. Not trustworthy
I'm pretty sure there are great plumbers out there, but with great ones, there must be some of the opposite. That's exactly what I got!!! This Mr. Rooter that goes by M**e, came to my house in the 93722 area was a complete joke!!! He is one cocky as guy that cannot stop bragging about his 20 plus year in the business and that he has seen it all. So he swapped out our kitchen faucet (plug and chug job) and charge $200 for the visit and $320 for the labor. The faucet was provided by the home owner, otherwise Mr. Rooter guy here would tack on another $300 to go pick up a $60 faucet. Ok, so he was paid over $500 for the job, seems really over priced. If that wasn't interesting, things just got more interesting. Everything seems to be working fine, until faucet assembly starts separating from the base. We thought it was normal until it got worse. The home owner was informed and the rooter guy came back out to check it out. First thing that came out of his mouth "you guys broke it." Then he goes and pushes up and down on the neck of the spout further damaging the assembly. Then he goes and tell us that only the labor is cover and not the part. Can u believe that....this clown cost $500! He then goes on and brags how over his 20 plus years of experience he has never seen anything like this. His customer service skills sucks donkey ass!!! He made us feel irresponsible from the minute he came in and never once did he bother to explore other options, like if it may be a defective product. So he recommend us to go buy a new one and call him to come fix it. In my mind I was like, F*** that guy! Now this is the part that blows away his 20 plus of wanna be years!!! After he left, I called the faucet company and had a 20 min chat with them. I describe the issue to best of my ability. I myself have years of YouTube DIY experience. Some might say why didn't I just fix the problem myself. Will we are renting and we though it was best to let the owner know what's going on and if he suggest that we fix it, then it would have been done that way. Anyways back to the story, after that 20 min chat with a tech, it was determined that the faucet was defective and we should return it to where we bought it for a replacement. Just like that, a real trained tech able to diagnose the issue over the phone, and not once did they accuse us of breaking it. I have to give 5 stars to the delta faucet phone techs! So there you have it!! Years of experience means sh*t when you're so single minded! Now I'll be doing the replacement myself.
I was given a quote for 2 hours of service. After an hour and a half, the plumber said he needs an additional part so it will cost me more. I said how much is the part, and he said it's not the part that is the concern, it's the extra time. He looked info up on his tablet and he quoted me another $200. I told him I can't afford that. I had already paid more than $300 to put in a very simple faucet and was under the 2hr time, so it made no sense to pay $200 more dollars. He said, ok he will do it for $50 and not report it to his company if I pay him in cash. I told him I don't have cash. He made me, a female, go to an atm after dark by myself to get him $50 so he can be paid under the table with no record of his income, which is illegal. When I arrived back home with the money to give it to him, only an hour and 50 minutes had passed since he arrived, so no extra money should have been charged because the quote was for two hours. The next day I noticed his work was leaking. I remember the plumber said the work was guaranteed for 60 days, but I did not call him back, because quite frankly, I did not want this man with unethical business practices in my home again. So, I called a friend who came over and examined it and said the plumber failed to use teflon tape where he should have, a very basic thing. So in all I was charged over $400 for a very basic faucet installation, received very subpar service, and was forced to visit an atm after dark alone. I will definitely never call Mr. Rooter again. This was shockingly the worst service I've received in my life. I couldn't believe how outrageous this was. When I told my husband what happened, he was furious.
In my opinion, one of the worst businesses I have ever had the displeasure of hiring. I have a home in Fresno and my kitchen sink was clogged. They came out to my house, worked on the drains (were not there that long), said they were clean and Charged $220. The drain began to back up 3 days later. The tech (so called) returned and told us the reason the drain backed up is that we were putting food down the disposal. I explained that the purpose of a garbage disposal (actually called in the industry a FOOD disposal) was to put food down it. He said it was not :) He said he would not look at the drain unless we paid him again. This was the exact drain he had just cleaned! I called the owner (Rod) and it took 2 days until he called me back (which meant our drain was still plugged). He called me back, was probably the most anti customer service person Ive ever encountered. Said they offer 0 warranty on their work and if they did he would go broke. So with that I asked him how many times he gets calls like this and he said every month. I mentioned that he may not be doing the work properly if every month peoples newly cleaned drains clog up that fast and he said tough. I asked him if he thought it fair that the drain had been clear for years, it clogs up, they clean it and its clogged again within a week. He repeated he would go out of business if he offered a warranty. He offered to do it again for $175 and I told him I would never use him again. Like I said, in my opinion, its not just the warranty you miss with Mr Rooter, but also any hope of dealing with someone fair that cares about their customers.
Had Mr. Rooter come out to unplug a clog from my clean out near the street to the city main. So he comes and inserts the snake into the clean out and has a hard time getting the snake thru and right away he says “your pipe going to the city main may be broken and may need to be replaced”. He suggested he would give me an estimate to cut the curb, street, asphalt and to dig it out. Then he finally gets the snake to go thru and sends it down the drain maybe 35-40 ft. But still the clean out would not unclog and drain. So insist it’s the city main that is clogged and tells me they will call the city to check their pipe. As he is snaking it I ask him are you sure you’re going in the right direction. He insist the snake can only go one way so I was like ok I’m not going to tell u how to do your job. So I paid him $239 just to tell me it’s a city problem. So the problem stays and I call another plumber the next day to see if he can try something different cause I know to fix the pipe from the clean out to the main can cost tens of thousands of dollars. So I call Joes Plumbing and the first thing he says Mr. Rooter must have snaked the wrong way, that he must have went toward the house and not the main. So I was like ok, I hope your right. So Joes plumbing comes out and snakes it and ten minutes later my drain in unclogged and my clean out is no longer clogged. I paid Joes plumbing $200 to run the snake from the clean out to the main, from the clean out to the house and from a clean out in the black of my house to the front of the house. Mr. Rooter is not the ppl to call. They just take your money and leave you hanging.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY!!! Called Mr.Rooter Plumbing, we had 2 clogged toilets not working, the tech came out 2days later. First he looked very unprofessional, clothes all wrinkled i shouldn't have let him even try, But we were desperate to get it fixed. He used the same toilet auger We have to unclog the toilet and told him he might need to remove the toilet. So he was back and forth outside and using the same tool. He said well just for this service it will run you $325, and $425 if he removes the toilet. well i thought that was a ridiculous price but again we were desperate to get it fixed. I said as long as you can fix it go ahead. He then says the tool he had was broken so i'll come back tmrw to fix it. I was like WOW. So he left. My husband was like cancel him i have the exact tool and this guy is doing nothing.then he returned 1hr later. Goes outside and is checking the water main, never attempted to take the toilet off said it was the pipes not the toilet, OMG!! LONG STORY SHORT, My husband fixed both toilets in 30min and i wasted my money!!! Basically i was robbed for my money, he did absolutely nothing but take my money!! I now have to get a hold of the office so i can get a receipt because they never sent me the receipt by email. DO NOT USE THESE PLUMBERS.
I called them in an emergency situation because of all the great reviews I read online. I am always nervous about calling repair people because it can get expensive and you want it done right the first time. They were able to fit me in the next morning, even working around my schedule. The tech, Dazhon, came to the appointment earlier than we scheduled, which was such a huge help. The office called me to let me know and he was here within fifteen minutes (which as you know for Fresno is pretty good, considering the sprawl). He was professional, super informative, courteous, and even considerate of our antique rugs! The clog was due to tree branches growing in the main pipe, which he then suggested we send a camera into in the front of the house, I agreed and signed off on the unexpected service and he called the owner out to help him, whose name I didnt catch, but was equally great. Turns out we’ll need more work done in the future, which I wasnt surprised to hear since we just bought an old house, but it was a relief to know that we found a company that we can trust and will do great work with fair pricing.
Did not show for appointment to install line from sink under the house and through the wall to refrigerator. After no show, called and was told the man who wrote our bid was no longer there (less than a week later) and another employee needed to come out and reassess the job. The second employee informed us that there would be a substantial increase in the fee. We were unable to negotiate a reasonable increase in person. Told their minimum charge for ANY type of work is more than $200. (There was no charge for the initial bid, however.) We were told we would receive a new bid two hours later. Called another plumber and got a bid for the same full job-- at a lower cost than the Mr. Rooter's original bid. We wasted a lot of time rearranging our schedule to be home for a no-show. The two visits spent negotiating a price was longer than it would have taken the same employee to complete the job. Positive: Quick initial response and friendly office liaison.
Was the only company I could get to come out same day. Had a TECH Chis out in 2hrs. Chris quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended some repairs.Chris got the system going so my family could use the system in minutes. He checked in,I agreed to the repairs and had a full trenchless line installed. The crew showed up on time next day with minimal disturbance to my home. The crew made 2 large holes in my concrete patio that were repaired after the install. You get what you pay for don't waste time or money on someone to destroy your yard for a week or two.Chris,Daniel and crew were in and out in 2 days FLAT.I would recommend them to you for your property. Ive already had neighbors knocking at my door asking how the project was, It was great. Chris,Daniel and the crew are professional, knowledgeable, friendly.Cost,it was in the thousands. If your house was built before 1989 just start saving cash now.
Associated with Lee's Air and Plumbing, this company came our several times to clear a pipe before detecting that there was a problem with the sewer line under the master bath vanity. I was quoted $19,000 to demo and repair the pipe. Turns out, another contractor discovered the problem line was also running underneath a fireplace and into the family room. I don't know who is in charge at the Mr. Rooter, but when I asked for a breakdown of the charges they split the charge into 3 parts (to the penny) and did not break it down by labor, materials, hours, etc. Also, they destroyed and through away our vanity and after removing the toilet, through it away too (a completely good toilet). Just not professional in estimating, they over charge for labor, and they seem not to follow conventional procedures in a demo. Lesson: Get more than one estimate and insist for a complete breakdown.
I called and was told tech would give me a price when they showed up. They charged me $250.00 for 30 minutes for snaking. What a rip. Buyer beware. Had me at "hello" because everybody else was busy.then tried to sell me some bull**** drain clog preventer for another $70. I said no way. All other plumbing companies were priced from $120 to $180. These guys were outrageous and it wasn't at night or the weekend. What a RIP! Tech was nice and had the correct tools but from I understand they work off commission. Paid double.....again buyer beware! The lady on the phone said they couldn't give me a price until they were onsite. Another plumber warned me that this is a trap! And he was right!
