This is my second time using Mr. Expert. Called them because my fireplace wasn’t turning on. I thought that my igniter was bad. But Luis is always honest and let me know it was just the switch on the wall. The wires had came loose. Back up and running good! Thanks, Luis

Mr. Juan Castillo went above and beyond. Meeting all of my expectations and answering all of my questions. I highly recommend this company based solely on the professionalism of this individual.

I called "Mister Expert" to clean my kitchen drain. At first Jorge told me they came just to replace the pipes under the sink. I told them my sink was clogged and I requested to have it unclogged. Jorge told me we had to replace the pipes under the sink. They asked for $185 to clear the drain. When I complained about the price, Jorge dropped the price down to $125, trying to make me believe that he was doing me a big favor. He has an attitude and gets offended easily. By the time I had everything done, it cost me $275. Outrageous! I would never hire the "experts" again! I should mention that my service date was 10/26/2015. I have been wanting to write this review for a while.

The man came and looked in the valve box, turned each valve and said there is no leak. He said something I could not understand. I asked could it be some where else. He said I don't know. He thanked me and left. ???????

Second review. This was my second time using mr. expert. We are doing bathroom and laundry room remodel. Had them move the washer and sink drain in laundry. Moved the toilet and bathtub in bathroom and reconfigure drain stack in basement for future downstairs bathroom. Luis and his crew were awesome! He was very helpful and knowledgeable with all my questions and easy to schedule. We had a problem with the bathtub and he came back to take it out. I had to order a new one(defect) and they came back as soon as I received it and re installed it. I Highly recommend mr. Expert for any plumbing needs. Will be calling them for future projects. Installed a gas line to a new cooktop. Lowest quote by far that I got and scheduled within a couple days of deciding to do it. Jorge was great to work with and did an awesome job. No complaints highly recommend.

Have had service with Jorge and Jesus to this point. Three services in total and they've been completely reasonable and professional. They are cheaper than Whipple and other places I got quotes for. They don't skimp out on quality and that's been the great part. I have trusted them to shoot me straight on each situation. 1) issues with my water heater pipes: they suggested I replace the heater but didn't force the suggestion and repaired the immediate need at the time. 2) main line backed up: Jesus came and cleared out the main line and helped relieve my literal "crappy" situation. 3) finally got the water heater repaired years later. Excellent price and quickly installed. Thanks!

My air conditioner was not able to keep the house cool enough. I called a different A/C company and they came out and told me that they strongly recommend replacing it for $11,000 or at the very least I should replace a bunch of the parts on it for $6,000. That’s when friend suggested I call Louis. He was amazing! Very knowledgeable and respectful. He texted me back quickly - on a weekend, came out on Monday and within an hour or two had it repaired. It only cost me $250 and saved me thousands from what the other disreputable company would have charged me. I’m saving his number in my phone because I will always call him from now on.

(I work for an outpatient surgery center) I have used four different companies, and Mr. Expert Plumbing multiple times now. I rate this company at the top; able to accommodate our scheduling needs, cost and they are able to fix things other plumbers had said can't be fixed. This time they were able to fix a clogged sink I had tried to repair myself and botched badly, and a drinking fountain that was leaking. The drinking fountain turned out to be a pipe inside the wall as well as a connection inside the fountain, and they were able to repair both in a timely manner. Very happy with them and will continue to be my first call.

$400 quote to replace a garbage disposal?!?!? $150 to cap off two sprinkler heads (I bought the .64 cent pvc cap and did it in 5 min)?!?! I can absolutely understand a $95 diagnostic fee, but then to charge me $30 to put one wire cap on, and another $25 to put four other wire caps on?!?!?! GIVE ME A BREAK. My main sprinkler valve is busted and I have to get it fixed before the fall. They quoted me $1000 to do it, and I don't care if it costs me more going somewhere else but I won't use Mr. expert plumbing again because of their shady pricing practices. Trust me and go somewhere else.

I had already had a very nice cut in the wall for the plumbing but my plumber decided he needed to get it to the top of the clean out and rather than cutting the wall and making a nice entrance to the wall he just took a shizzle put it behind the sheetrock and a mylar and jerked on the wall and tore out of the trunk carrying a wall another 8 inches up the wall. This did not seem very professional to me and added more cost to me you have the wall fixed because I'm a restaurant I can't have open walls against the health code he did not make it a very good situation.

We have used Mr. Expert plumbing several times over the years. This time we had an outside water leak that required working in the cold. Jorge and his assistant did the job on the agreed date, completing it efficiently and made sure that the area was returned to its original condition. The price was fair, and no upselling took place which was different than other bids that we got. I highly recommend Mr. Expert Plumbing as a company that you can trust to do a good job with a guarantee that if you have a problem, they will fix it.

I have used Mr Expert on more than a handful of occasions for boiler/hydronic heat repairs and maintenence, as well as emergency water line repairs. Their boiler specialist Louis is extremely knowledgeable and fair with his rates. Valencia, who worked on an emergency pex line repair came to the house in an hour and made a repair quickly. Locally owned and operated plumbers are so much better than national chains. There are other great options in SLC too, but Mr. Expert has never let us down.

After a horrible experience with Home Depot and XPO Home Delivery we called Mr. Expert Plumbing and they were amazing! Not only did they show up within an hour of calling them late in the day but they went above and beyond. Replaced the water line, removed an old dishwasher and installed a new one. All for an adorable price. Made sure everything was done correctly, super friendly and took the time to do the job right. Our technician deserves a raise!! Would recommend this business to anyone.

I had a pressure bladder on my hot water heater that went out and caused a major leak. I called Mr. Expert and spoke to Josie. After explaining what happened she advised me she would make some calls to the technician and get back with me. Within about 20 minutes she called back to let me know someone would be here between 1 and 2pm. The technician was here before one. After checking he explained what happened and gave me a price quote. He was finished with the work in less than 1 hour.
