Luke tested and thoroughly inspected my suddenly silent furnace. Luke went on explaining the nature of the malfunction, gave me options on fixing the problem, and most importantly gave me the “why” each option might be best. He listened to me and patiently explained his preferred solution. It was a surprisingly great experience.

*** Accidentally eddited. This remains a valid review, but was from November 2025 *** Last Friday, Moore Mechanical completed the installation of a new HVAC system in our home, and we're delighted. Prior to undertaking the project - full replacement of existing electric baseboard heat, including running ductwork in the crawl, plus a new water heater and adding air conditioning - we obtained quotes from three providers. All reputable, competent and with excellent references. We're confident all would have done a great job. But Moore Mechanical was significantly less expensive, and though we're not sure exactly why, we couldn't complain. The finished job shows no signs of anything less than first class work in all aspects of the process. And we appreciated the professionalism of the Moore team, who consistently validated with us their decisions on duct placement and other considerations. They were great to work with, and earned our confidence with their clear expertise in home air management. Thanks Moore!

Matt Schooner gave me excellent service. He was respectful, informative, quick to contact me, was clear about what to expect from his visit. He also gave me good advice about remote thermostats and after some questions on my part I gave him the go-ahead to replace with a Honeywell thermostat.

Not satisfied! Did not do work requested. Then became argumentative. Do not recommend. Said they would call back and never did. Toilets and refrigerator were not working. One toilet leaked badly after they left however worker said everything worked fine.

Jason presented Friday morning to do our first annual maintenance through the Moore Mechanical maintenance contract. We have two cottages side-by-side both with furnaces one with a boiler and the other with a on-demand hot water system. He was here for about five hours cleaning, adjusting and evaluating all the systems. I was very impressed with the quality of his work and would recommend him to anyone. Of importance to note was the cabbage that is a little more than 15 years old was found to have a heat exchanger that has some rust and will be at risk in the next year or two or three. I’m glad he found it and we will be replacing that furnace in the near future. Until then he recommended that we have multiple carbon monoxide detectors to keep us safe at this time. There is no fee collected today because I am on a monthly maintenance program which I think is a fabulous way to go.
