Our verdict
Excellent emergency responder with same-day service and strong technical skills, but warranty labor charges and material quality concerns create friction on pricing.

What reviewers report — the concerns
Other directories bury these. We think you should read them before you call. Every concern below comes from the reviews it cites.
Red flag
Warranty practice concern: single 1-star review explicitly criticizes warranty terms as 'poor business practices,' citing labor charges on covered parts (small sample size makes pattern unclear but worth confirming with company)
“Warranty sucks, will charge for labor to install seat under warranty.”
Warranty labor charges: company charges labor to install replacement parts (toilet seat) that are covered under warranty, treating parts and installation as separate line items
“Warranty sucks, will charge for labor to install seat under warranty.”
Material durability: new toilet seat failed within 6 months, suggesting potential use of lower-quality components despite premium service positioning
“Warranty sucks, will charge for labor to install seat under warranty.”
Keep it in proportion: these concerns are cited in 1 of the 5 reviews we analyzed. Most reviewers report positive experiences — see the full rating picture below.
The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“Warranty sucks, less than 6 months new toilet works great but the toilet seat breaks. Will replace under warranty but will charge for labor to install. Poor business practices along with using of quality material. Don't get me wrong, will use them again for their for services but this is wrong and will go to Lowes to get things I can do myself.”
Positive
“Matt was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I was shown exactly what the problem was and understood why toilet replacement was advisable. He and Mike showed much consideration by not tracking in and cleaning up great after they were done. These guys were terrific and are an asset to your company. So happy I’ve have had a service contract for many years with Kay Plumbing.”
“We used Kay Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for several work orders couldn’t be happier. They were on-site when scheduled, professional, and had everything taken care quickly. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely pleasant to work with. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs!”
