GREAT first time experience. Techs, Darren & Noah offered courteous and great communication in alerting us as to when they would arrive for our appt and were most methodical checking out all components of our AC inside and out! Will definitely want those guys to be the inspectors for our furnace check up come fall. Thank you
My mom recently had to get a new electrical panel installed in her house. Derek, Ella and Josh from J&A came out to do the installation and did a fantastic job! They showed up around 8:30am and Derek explained exactly what they would be doing and how they were going to do it. After that, they got right to work. They were friendly, very professional and stayed on task. Anytime I had a question during the installation, they answered it fully. Derek installed the new electrical panel and the wiring was neatly done. He was also nice enough to clean up the debris that other contractors had left in the bottom of the electrical box cubby hole. Ella did a great job on installing the new meter box outside. Josh did a nice job running the grounding wire to the main water line. Once the install was completed, they went over everything with me again and showed me everything that was done. They answered any remaining questions I had too. The install itself was completed within the timeframe that I had been given. All in all, I was very pleased with the work they did at my mother's house!
Two days ago I called J&A Plumbers Mat came and reviewed my issue with a bathroom sink a have upstairs. It was not draining. He was very thorough, gave me options. He sent me an estimate that evening and the next day I called to get the work done. Today I met Joe. He is very professional. He explained to me everything he was doing. I am so satisfied with the work. I just want to say , no need to call other plumbers . They are Great!!! You're feel at ease with them. No pressure, no sales pitch. I will definitely call them again. Thank you.
I occasionally had water coming up from my floor drain when I did laundry so I called J&A and they gave me a quote of over $10,000 to fix the issue. It was a ton of money but I had to get it fixed so I had them do the work. After the work was finished, the supervisor called me to say there would need to be an add-on job that would cost $5000 on top of the $10,000 because of roots in the sewer line. Two things: 1) He had put a camera down the sewer line before starting and said it looked fine. (2) When he quoted me $10,000+ that was to "fix the problem." HE DID NOT SAY that amount will potentially only fix part of the problem and there may be a substantial additional charge. Additionally, I was told that if I have water come up through the floor drain in the future (the issue I paid them over $10,000 to fix) the 10-year warranty I was promised will not apply unless I do the additional $5,000 job. And on top of that, the morning after the job was complete, I went down in my basement to find water on the floor because the tub had not been put back properly and the piping underneath was leaking. Luckily, I had not put laundry in the night before as I had planned or my basement would have been flooded. I had previously paid J&A $12,000 for plumbing repairs two years ago and I was told I was good to go after that. With the $10,000 additional, I am at $22,000 for plumbing repairs through J&A. An additional $5,000 would bring that to $27,000. On a small house with one bathroom, no dishwasher, and no garbage disposal. Insane. Do not use these guys!!
Ella and team did a fantastic job running a dedicated circuit for my microwave as well as upgrading my whole home's electrical service to modern standards. We talked through several options until we landed on what felt like the best fit for my needs. The work was scheduled quickly, all four workers that I interacted with were friendly, and they cleaned up after themselves. There were several financing options, including ones with 0% APR for a select duration, which is what I ended up going with. The administrative staff helped me set this up and were patient with me as I called several times to talk through different questions. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
