Had my entire sewer backup the night before my in-laws were supposed to get here. Sewage coming up through the toilets, the showers, you name it. Iggy came out at about 11PM unclogged it and gave us a great piece of advice. Don’t flush flushable wipes they stick to everything! Thanks Iggy!

I had a main water line leak at my home and Iggy’s Plumbing & Drain took care of it quickly and professionally. They dug down to expose the broken main line, identified the issue right away, and replaced the damaged pipe and fittings using the proper Schedule 40 pipe and Schedule 80 fittings. The crew was efficient, respectful, and kept the work area clean. The repair was done right the first time, and the water pressure came back perfectly. I have used Iggy's for multiple projects now. The latest was to replace a leaking water heater. I contacted them around 3 pm and by 8 pm a new 50 gallon water heater, plus all of the code upgrades and permits (required in Elk Grove) were done at a fair and honest price. Getting it done so quickly takes some major league hustle. Another great thing about working with Iggy is the honesty in the pricing and the high quality of their work. It is hard to find plumbers that won't try to take advantage of you when they can, but that is not how Iggy runs his family business. If you need any type of plumbing done in the area, Iggy's is who you want to contact. You won't be disappointed.

A few years ago I received a quote from Iggy and after the work was done I found I was charged $10 p/h more. It wasn't a lot and I let it go. I had used Iggy on prior occasions and had always appreciated the good service. Tho I was disappointed he took advantage of a single woman. This month I had a problem with my toilet and decided to give him another try since the work had always been good. His company sent someone out who was very nice and got the job done in 30 minutes. I'm very happy with the end result. What bothered me was, again, the disappointment of taking advantage of a senior woman. I was charged $230. I emailed Iggy and asked for a breakdown for parts and labor. After three tries I've still never received a response, nothing. I will no longer be sending referrals. If I'm being taken advantage of and can't even receive a simple response, I'd rather find someone who I can trust.

Zero stars I cannot tell you if he is a good plumber because he didn’t show up. I made an appointment with him on Sunday to show up on Monday, Memorial Day between 12-2pm. At 12:06 on Monday he texted that he forgot it was a holiday and wasn’t working. That cost me time, opportunity to hire someone else, and that much longer without water. If you make the commitment, KEEP IT!!

I called Iggy to help my elderly parents get their main waterline pipe from their water meter in their front yard to their house fixed. Apparently the roots from their tree in the front yard broke the pipe. The summary is that Iggy did an amazing job! My parents were very, very impressed with his hard work and commitment to get the job done and done well. They and I were very appreciative of his responsiveness and kindness in working late and early. If you want the details...I called Iggy at 645pm, right before he was going to be done for the day at 7pm. He answered right away and provided a quote within 10 minutes based on the description of the issue that the county water inspector provided my parents and a couple of pictures I sent over to him via the phone. We decided to do the work and he was at my parents' house within 30 minutes as he estimated. And although I wasn't available as I had originally told him when he arrived, he got in touch with my parents and started the work. At this point it was already getting dark, but he had his flood lights. After digging out the area, he found that the neighbor's pipe was leaking as well which had flooded the work area in my parents' yard. So he had to call the county to get the neighbor's water turned off to be able to work on my parents pipe. As a result, he had to come back the next day which he did first thing in the morning as promised and fixed the pipe which included cutting the tree root out. Most importantly he tested the initial fix and found a minor leak which he promptly fixed. He provided a 3 year warranty on the work. What a great guy! I would highly recommend Iggy to anyone especially if you live in the Elk Grove area since he is relatively nearby. Just a note, I did call a number of other companies that night and they were all closed or I got an answering service or if they were open, the person who took my call never called back that night...although they all advertised emergency and after hours service and support. Maybe they got so big I got lost in the bureaucracy or this job wasn't worth their effort? If you want a great plumber who will treat you and your loved ones with respect and care and will work hard to get the job done properly, in a timely fashion, and honor his commitments, you should call Iggy!!!!

ALL THE STARS. We had a simple problem, 1 blocked mixing valve that prevented hot water from getting from our water heater to our faucets. The previous day, we got a quote from a large well-known plumbing company. That company took 3 hours to give a ridiculously high quote for things that were 100% unnecessary, and messed things up along the way. Enter Iggy's the next day to the rescue! - They were soo respectful with our home. They removed their shoes each time they went in and out without my asking, had their masks on the whole time, didn't smoke or cuss on our property (every other worker recently has??), and even noticed our dog bed and recommended better dog-resistant parts for our outdoor spout issue - Within 5 minutes they diagnosed the hot water problem, and within 15 they were replacing the valve. Less than 2 hours start to finish, they removed the valve, replaced with new piping, insulated it, cleaned up, and we have hot water to the whole house again! All much cheaper than the other quote. - They also addressed some of the lies the "other" company told us, and were clearly knowledgeable and advised us on how things were actually working, and in what good condition our hot water heater was in. They're not super responsive via text/phone, but they do good, quick, courteous, decently-priced work. 100% recommend! Thank you Iggy's!

Who here has ever been fearful of their bathroom flooding or water (for whatever reason) not turning off no matter how much you turn?? Unfortunately this fear came true for us! Plumbing is something I never want to mess or have issues with but our time came for our upstairs shower. It all started with our shower/bathtub handle not turning so great. My husband figured okay let's tighten the screw so it'll grip inside better. This led to our bathtub running water for nearly an hour!!!! No matter how much we tried to turn the handle it wasn't gripping. We removed the handle and could not use any of our tools to grip the inner mechanism and then. True nightmare! We ultimately had to shut off our main water. That's when I browsed for a plumber on Yelp and within 5 minutes Iggy responded. He provided the estimated quote which we found was reasonable knowing that plumbing can easily rack up! Iggy simply asked for photos and even offered to come that same night if they had the part. Told him we could wait until the morning. Iggy sent Chris along with another gentleman and they arrived within their set timeframe. Less than 20 minutes our kids shower was in working order. Hallelujah!!! Chris explained what was replaced and why this occurred. Friendly, respectful, and kind. Truly appreciative for Iggy and his team. Highly recommend!

I had low pressure in kitchen faucet. I asked for an estimate to fix. I didn't kniw what caused it. I was told a range of time someone would come out and look at it. A different person showed up at my door several hours earlier than expected. He took faucet apart, said what caused it, and he could clean and put it back together. He was on his way in a few minutes. Yes, someone came the same day but the price was high. Thank you for your reply. I was told when I called and asked if u work in this area..yes, you have family and friends of friends that you do work here for and that you were going to be in my area at another appt. that same day and asked if 4-6:30 would be ok for estimate..you said I would be called when they were on the way after the job..instead someone (don't know if he was the one with appt. in this area came much earlier, just showed up at the door. I was not given a price for anything in the call and thought repair person would tell me..I also told u it wasn't urgent. Turned out my price was $150 for a very quick job. I understand it was a long trip to just look at my problem but u told me someone was already in the area.You definitely should be more clear in the phone call re the price of your trip to the house and then u will give estimate to do the job.

We had Iggy install our water heater and it seemed fine at first, but then we realized we had a gas leak. He had knocked the hose loose and it was leaking gas for months. We called PG&E and they told us about the leak and said it had to have happened during installation because the hose was trapped between the furnace and the water heater. We called him to see if he would come out and fix it and reinstall our water heater and he charged us $1000 for his mistake and seemed annoyed about it. Also, before this happened we referred him to my mother who used him to install her water heater. A couple years later she realizes that the fittings from the wall to the water heater had been leaking after his installation and now she has mushrooms growing in her drywall and the entire drywall behind the water heater looks like it has melted away and she will need to replace it all as well as the platform the water heater rests on. Not to mention the leak repair. He has proven to be the worst plumber we have ever had and are embarrassed to have referred my mother to him at all.

5 stars! Iggy did a small job for me (he changed out my garbage disposal). If you need your disposal changed out and you live in Elk Grove, South Sacramento or slightly beyond, then it's really a no brainier, call Iggy. - Arrived on time. Iggy and his partner got a flat tire en route to my home. They unloaded all their needed supplies from the vehicle and carried the tools to my house in 90 degree weather to do the job! They didn't cancel or say we will be back some other time. - Upfront and honest. Iggy told me on the first phone call exactly what the labor cost would be, the type of disposal he would be installing and its price. The final bill read exactly the same and he even included the receipt for his purchase of the disposal. -Thorough He made sure the job was done right. He even stayed around to make sure the new disposal wasn't leaking. - Great installation price! He was the lowest priced of those I called. Honestly, I would have used Iggy even if he had been the highest bidder (but please don't tell Iggy that!)

Good work but felt nickel and dimed on some items. I had $2000-3000 worth of work done to run some waterlines, a drain and vent in my kitchen remodel. All went well but when I needed the actual valves so I could access the water they came back out, did those and then I was handed a bill... No indication was made that this wasn't included in running the water lines. How else can I access the water without those and why not include those in the original quote? This second one isn't a huge deal but they extended one hot water kine by about 1 foot. Since I have an old house and they didn't know what was behind the wall it was a $200+ amount of work even though it only took them 30 minutes to complete. They had seen behind this wall before and I provided pictures but they still wouldn't lower their "old house" pricing. Doesn't make sense. Would use again but would get all the details and ask what is NOT included that might be necessary to actually use the plumbing they install before starting the work.

We had an emergency late at night on Monday, looked on yelp and saw that Iggy was a 24/7 service, a bit skeptical since it seemed like he was the only one I decided to give it a shot since we had our bathroom and laundry room start to flood. Amazed by how quickly Iggy responded, he was on the line with another customer when I called, but he was quick to text me and let me know. I explained to him what was happening and he gave me an estimated price if we wanted it fixed tonight or tomorrow (I appreciated the transparency and the markup for this emergency was more than warranted). We decided this needed to be done asap and he let us know he was on his way and how long it would take. He kept us updated and arrived when he said he would. 30 minutes later he fixed the issue. I hope to not have to call him too often lol but if we ever have any more plumbing issues he's the first one we'll call! I sincerely recommend you give him a call if you have any plumbing needs!

I pulled on the bathtub faucet really hard to turn it on, when I pushed it in to turn off, it wasn't closing all the way creating a leak. I called a couple plumbers, one said they were booked until next Thursday, one said they call back because they had to find someone. When I called Iggy's they answered right away, said they could come out around 830-930am. I explained to him the situation. He also asked me to send a picture of the faucet so he could get an idea of what was going on. Sent him a picture, and he knew right away what was wrong! I thought, no way he would know what was wrong just by looking at a picture! lol! Kenny showed up around the time they quoted and sure enough it was the cartridge, just like they said it was! Kenny was fast, efficient and very professional! He also gave us great tips on how to maintain it! If I ever need a plumber again it'll be Iggy's! Don't hesitate to call them!

Ok, Iggy lives up to his reviews. At 10 pm, my shower bathtub knob broke! My water wouldn't turn off when I turned it. I had to shut off the main water valve to the house. We took apart the handle to try and figure it out and soon come to realize it was a bit more complicated than we thought. I needed it fix ASAP since I have a roommate and already going the whole night with no water (can't flush the toilets) was rough. I called Iggy and one other guy to compare quotes and how soon they would be able to come out. They quoted me at about the same price, but Iggy said he could come as soon he finishes a job he was doing. The other guy said the next day. Iggy was informative, friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The worst part about needing a job done is waiting all sorts of hours for someone to come out. I'm so glad and so happy How fast Iggy was able to come. I would use him again. Thanks Iggy!
