I have used Heil Plumbing for many years and they always do good work at a fair price. My technician, Chad K., was professional, very thorough and explained everything to me. Highly recommend.

I would like to commend Heil Plumbing for the wonderful job they did completing our sewer plumbing project. From start to finish, the process was handled in an efficient, professional, and timely manner. Thank you to Ashley in the office, who was very responsive to urgent requests, and to Jake, the first technician who came out to assess the issue. We had a couple of plumbers come out to the house, but it was difficult getting a clear commitment from them regarding getting a cost estimate. After dealing with the back and forth, my wife decided to search online for a Howard County plumber and found Heil Plumbing’s phone number. I called, and the very next day Jake came out to assess the problem. We truly appreciate Heil Plumbing’s prompt response. Jake quickly determined that the issue extended beyond what the previous plumbing companies had identified, which gave us much-needed clarity and direction. A special thank you to Otto, the lead technician. He was very knowledgeable and responsive, ensuring that everything was completed correctly and timely. The team worked diligently and kept me informed throughout the entire process. It’s not always easy dealing with plumbing problems, but they made the experience smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate their hard work and excellent customer service, and I highly recommend Heil Plumbing to anyone in need of reliable and efficient plumbing services.

I called today for an issue that I've been putting off for multiple months due to what I thought was a high priced fix ( my picket froze and cracked my water line outside). I called and talked to an Ai answering service who surprisingly got the everything correct without having to repeat anything. Chand and Ronaldo were dispatched about 30 minutes later and arrived about an hour after I placed my call. Chad was extremely professional and helpful. He methodically talked me through what and where he thought the problem was and where the break could have been. I signed the authorization for work, which gave me the price and detailed what work he was going to perform. About an hour later, they were done and they showed me where the break was in the water line (exactly where he thought the issue would be by the way). They turned the water on, verified they fixed the issue and the spicket worked as expected. I think Ronaldo has an excellent mentor! Thank you for the excellent customer service, you have a customer for life.

I understand that your company is very reputable. I used it before and was very satisfied then. This time, I scheduled a preventive maintenance check on my sump pump, sewage pump and water heater. Unfortunately, the guy came and didn't want to do any work. He just used the cell phone camera to look down the pit (didn't even open). For the sewage pump, he asked for water to be running and concluded it was working. And the water heater - he did absolutely nothing but just looked at the label and determined its age for replacement. I know everything is working and he did not provide any information that's valuable. He didn't do the inspection that was normally done like testing the float switch, he didn’t check the check valve or clean out any debris. He didn’t check electrical connections, alarms, or signs of slow seepage. He quoted me more than $7000 for replacement of water heater just solely based on its age. If I want to do it, I won't go with your company based on the experience.

Charged $550 for a toilet tank tank that needed 2 bolts replaced. Left grease on the tank. STOLE a container of Clorox wipes. (I know b/c I have to use them after use Br b/c I wear compression gloves. And I know I used them in the morning. And I have to have someone come and repair the tank b/c it makes a noise when flushed that isn't right, that it didn't make before, and that none of the other toilets in the has make. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

It was certainly our good fortune to have chosen Heil Plumbing when searching for a 'good' company near us to replace the failing water heater in our home. From the initial call to getting the tank removed & installed, the experience was very professional, efficient and prompt. After receiving an estimated price quote via email, I called their office and asked if a technician could be sent out to take a closer look and let us know if any additional charges would be incurred. That was on a Thursday afternoon and while we were planning to move forward with Heil, over that weekend the tank started leaking water all over the floor. I looked at online to see what time they would open on Monday and saw that they would be open @ 7:30am. I wanted to give folks time to get in the door before calling so I waited until 7:45am to call. I explained that the tank had started to leak and that we had an immediate need for them to proceed with replacing the tank. To our total delight and amazement, Heil dispatched 2 plumbers to our home; told me that they would arrive anytime between 12noon - 2pm (I think) and around 11:15am we received a call that they were on their way. The 2 plumbers entered our home, put on the protective coverings over their boots & proceeded downstairs to area where the tank was located. They did their job, tested the install, talked with my husband, took the old tank away & cleaned up before they left. We were and still are, totally happy with the service provided and would gladly recommend to anyone needing any of the services they provide. Thank you Heil for the top notch service we received, for having good, talented employees and for making the entire experience as pleasant as possible. To top off everything stated in this review, we found their prices to be very competitive which was icing on the cake!!

We had a main line water pipe leak into our basement. This was a really scary and stressful situation for us. They needed to replace the whole entire pipe out to the sidewalk It Sounded like a weeks worth of work at least and we really need our basement. I called Heil Plumbing after posting something on Facebook. They came highly recommended immediately. From the time I called them to the time they left was absolutely seamless and perfect. It was only 6 PM in the evening and no other companies were open, but they were still in the office and answered the phone And it was not an answering service. Whoever answered, the phone was as sweet as could be and very helpful. And I instantly felt calmer The sales tech that came out for the quote was friendly and very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable answering all our concerns . This was a Friday and they booked us for that Monday. The crew came right on time and we cannot believe how efficient and fast they were. They started at 7:30 AM and finished by 1 PM. A job like this is very messy, but as you can see from the photos, they kept all the dirt contained away from my neighbors yards. And then they hosed it off afterwards. They replaced our grass and seeded it, then covered it with plenty of hay, so there isn’t any mud anywhere. I am so grateful we used this company. We will definitely use them in the future if needed. And I highly recommend them.!

Contacted a few plumbing services for a quote on a water main leak. Heil plumbing responded promptly with a detailed quote and plan of action. Not only did they provide the best price, their service was top tier. The job was completed with via a trenchless pipe replacement, which ended with my front yard actually looking better after the job. Upon completion of the work, they refilled all dirt, flattened the surface, laid new grass seed and covered with hay. Since the water line ran under our sidewalk, a hole had to be drilled into our driveway. Afterwards, they also filled the concrete apron on the end of our driveway, which many plumbing companies do not do for you. Lastly, upon inspection, a technician noticed our water heater expansion tank was out of compliance and replaced it free of charge. I’m very pleased with Heil Plumbing and would recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I had a plumbing emergency with a leaking water line behind my dishwasher and washer/dryer area. The plumber arrived on time, quickly identified the problem, and repaired the copper water line professionally. They tested everything carefully to make sure there were no leaks and explained what caused the issue. The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and very transparent about the work and warranty. The service was efficient, reasonably priced, and gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy plumbing service. Great experience with this plumbing company. They were responsive, professional, and did excellent work fixing a leak in my home. The technician explained the problem clearly and completed the repair quickly. Everything was tested and working perfectly before they left. Honest, reliable, and highly recommended!

Heil Plumbing replaced the main water pipe that runs 4 feet underground from the street to our house, which is about 100 feet from the street. Heil was at our house within 2 hours after I first called. They offered to do the job for a price that was fixed, even though a job like this is never routine. Two days later, a crew of 3 plumbers arrived at 8 AM. They pulled the new pipe through the old one and were done by 1 PM. The house was left spotless and there was no damage to our yard. They even swept the street! There were 3 bids for the job. The first company planned to trench across our yard and under our patio. The second company was unavailable for a week, and the cost was significantly higher.

This is a little delayed but didn’t want to forget. We had another fantastic experience with Heil Plumbing, this time for our new water heater installation. Seth and his coworker were incredibly quick, efficient, and clean throughout the entire process. The pricing was very competitive — significantly better than two other quotes we received — and the quality of work was excellent. At this point, Seth has helped us with multiple plumbing projects in our home, and we’ve come to really trust both him and the company. They’re consistently professional, courteous, and do the job right the first time. Heil Plumbing is definitely our go-to for any plumbing needs — highly recommend!

Eric and his helper were able to snake through a clogged toilet pipe, which was backing up into our shower and tub. When that failed, he had to use a camera to detect debris further down in the pipe causing the clog. Then they cut through the pipe and removed the debris, which to Eric looked like hardened mortar and other construction objects. Then they replaced the pipe area that they had removed. Eric and his assistant were very thorough and courteous and explained each process they were doing as well as the pricing. Everything is running smoothly now and I appreciated that they were able to finish the job the same day. I wouldn't hesitate to use Heil Plumbing again.

Can't say enough about my positive experience with Heil and specifically Otto and crew! We had an issue with our kitchen sink and needed to have a portion of our pipe replaced. Heil's quote was almost half that of what was quoted by another plumber and they delivered top notch service! Otto and team were on time, explained everything as it was happening, and answered all my questions throughout the process. They were also incredibly tidy! They wore shoe protectors and put down drop cloths throughout my home then cleaned everything up leaving the house just as clean as it was when they came. Highly recommend!!

Joe did a fantastic job today! I would recommend Heil plumbing to anyone looking for efficient, competent and courteous service. Joe took care to place long runners to protect my floors wire booties, explained everything. Our main drain out to the sewer needed clearing which is such a mess but Joe cleaned everything and even had the camera guy come the next day to inspect how far out the clog might have been. He cleaned any splashes and ensured everything was working properly. Despite this being an unexpected problem we feel like we hired the right company for the job! Well done!

Joe Welch listened carefully as I explained the problem, a leak in the basement. He asked questions, inspected the leak and figured out the source which was the toilet on the first floor bathroom. He discussed what was needed, offered several options and proceeded with the work. He was upfront about pricing and honest about the time it would take to fix.
