So happy with the work they did. Upfront with all the possibilities issue and how much it could cost. Luckily the problem hadn't escalated and we were able to address more than one problem. Love using local small business and they were very professional and courteous. Considerate that I was working from home and on meetings. Would text me updates since I was working. I will be using them in the future.

Call these guys now, you won’t regret it. I had to replace two toilets and John and his helpers did a fantastic job repairing the flange underneath due to it being severely corroded. They actually take pride in their job and go above and beyond and do high quality work for a reasonable price which is rare these days. They were here for a while making sure everything was perfect before leaving. I’m so glad I called them and will be referring them to everyone I know.

My water heater completely went out at 8 o’clock at night. Gil plumbing was referred to me with nothing but good things to say. I called that night and Mr. Gill answered and walked me through the process of the water heater replacement and any options that we may have. After discussion and warranties about what Gil Plumbing offered, I agreed and he said they would be here first thing in the morning and like he said Nick and Juan came out they were on time, pleasant,very knowledgeable and they cleaned up their mess when they were done. Nick explained to me all the components that were on my new water heater and how I can keep up maintenance on it. This was some of the best customer service I’ve received in a long time along with excellent work and great warranties highly recommend.

John Gill charges over $100 an hour. He claims to be a Master Plumber yet he did a very poor job for me. I had a new water, gas, and sewer line system for a new house installed on the property. He had a helper who was not there half the time which made the job take longer. He set a price for the whole job rather than doing it by the hour. He complained the job took longer even tho I did the trenching for him. He did not know that he needed to put a wire and sand over the plastic gas line he laid. I ended up making a run to a sand/gravel pit to get the sand so we could pass the inspection the next morning... After asking for compensation of $110 for me getting the sand, he was nice enough to agree to deduct $100 for me to drive 40 min out and back in my truck plus the $10 for the sand. When asked he cleaned out my truck. He attached the water line to the house and was called back because it leaked. He was told the manufactured home would have skirting but the water and gas lines were where the skirting was going to go. He complained about redoing the job. He ended up refusing to come back and readjusting the gas shut-off going into the house. The handle could not close due to the skirting. I asked him to assist me in ensuring the gas line to the gas stove was on and tighten the water line to the water heater that was leaking. He did both while he was there correcting his mistakes and charged me an additional $64 for probably 30 min. of work... He did not do the work or have the expertise of a "Master' plumber.

From the initial phone call, to the visit, to the repair, everything with this company has been absolutely wonderful! When I first called, the owner John answered immediately, he was able to give me a service call that same day, and tried to make sure that they could work within our schedule for work. Nick came out the same day, even though weather was dicey and traffic from his prior job was rough, and took the time to talk to us about potential problems based on what we told him. He quickly assessed our concerns, gave us an up front answer about what needed to be done, and even addressed some other questions we had without making us feel rushed. He really was great! We got an estimate, and he was able to address our other concerns and give us pricing that gave us options. He took his time, even though it was late, and we really appreciated his willingness to explain things. He came back the next day and was able to completely repair our original issue as well as some extra things to help reduce our problems in the future. On top of that, he did it all while navigating our 4 giant dogs without any issues! The work was done quickly, it was done right, and the estimate he gave us was right in line with our completed repair. This company has all of our business going forward, I can't say enough good things about them all! I've dealt with multiple companies before and had less than fantastic experiences, this is NOT one of those outcomes! We feel grateful to have found a company that we can trust, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help!

John Gill has been our "go-to" plumber for several years. First time, we had a pin-hole leak in a pipe in the wall. John found the problem and fixed it within a couple of hours. Next, our hot water heater died and he replaced it with a quality unit and to city code in no time. We had our A/C units replaced about a month ago an a couple of days ago noticed the condensation drain was leaking. A/C guy determined the line was clear and called John who quickly determined the drain it was connected to was clogged. He recommended we install a clean out access to the drain and I agreed. A couple of hours later the piping was done, the drains cleared, and I got to watch a TV show showing how clear the drains were. This guy's work is top-notch and he knows how to discuss what problems he has found and how they should be fixed in a plain, clear manner that can be understood. I cannot praise his work enough.

John Gil was the second plumber to come to the house for an estimate on a main water leak. I chose John because I felt he was honest and knowledgeable of the problem. He was able to provide the service on the day I called. John and his coworker stayed after hours so I could get my water back on that evening. They returned later to fill in the trench that was dug and receive payment. John was very descriptive in what the job entailed and he had me check the progress periodically. I am not sure if his pricing was competitive but I paid what he quoted and am happy with the job and with them being able to do it on the day I called even though it meant staying late for them. I inquired about future non emergency plumbing and he gave me quotes for when for whenI'm ready to have those tasks done. Definitely will hire him again.

The customer service, quality of work, pricing, and education are all top notch! Don’t waste your time like I did shopping around. Go with Gill’s first. By far the best experience I’ve had with a plumber. We reached out to inquire about getting an estimate for installing a pressure reducer valve. Within 3 days, Mr. Gill was at our property looking everything over and providing us with a comprehensive estimate that was fairly priced compared with a couple other estimates we received from other companies. We scheduled the installation within a couple days. They arrived on time, completed the installation, made sure our entire system was fit to work with the new valve. Then they educated us on how to take care of our new set up ourselves.

I had a great experience Gill Plumbing! I purchased a house in San Antonio this summer and realized I had an error code on my water softener and it didn't appear to be working right. I called and spoke with John and he helped me resolve the error code and set it to recycle that night. I scheduled an appointment for the following week since it looked like the service was 2 years past due. Nick came out and educated me on the softener, gave advice on some other potential plumbing issues, rebed the carbon filter, and installed a new resin catch filter. I had paint to match the walls, so he and his team mate painted the plywood so it looks like it is original to the house! I'm very pleased and it is great to have soft water again!

When my wife and I were buying a house we had the guys at Gill plumbing inspect the plumbing and create a work order for what needed to be updated. Because of Gill plumbings quick communication. We were able to take those cost estimates to the seller and get the sale price reduced. After we bought the house, John and Nick from Gill plumbing replaced our water heater and pressure reducing valve on my main shutoff line. The water flow in the house is great now and the heater works like a dream. I was so pleased with the work they did I had them replace the kitchen sink. They completed the work fast and the quality was great. I would trust them with any of my future plumbing needs.

I found John Gill through his reviews here on Yelp. We had a leak at the water meter, and unfortunately it was on our side. I called him up, and since it is a common issue, John was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone. He was also available after finishing his current job, so within a half hour he was at the house and working on the problem. The issue was the common cracked pipe at the bend that he had predicted. He charged his estimated price, which I found very reasonable. Two hours later, the leak is fixed and I am very happy with his service and common sense attitude. He gives a year warranty on his repairs, too! I'll be using his services again!

I had a backed up kitchen sink and after looking for the normal cause, Nick came and used an auger to clean the pipes. Problem fully solved! Nick and David arrived on time (a little early, actually, but they called to verify that was okay first). Very clean and professional. Explained options and their troubleshooting and diagnosis. Cleaned out under the sink, replaced everything when they were done and completely cleaned and scrubbed the sinks from the standing water. Before they left, I had them replace a leaking hose Bible on the porch. Very efficient and all-around nice gentlemen. Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks, Gill Plumbing Services

Highly recommended Gill Plumbing. Our exterior gas line fittings were rusted and eroded and they salvaged what they could saving us money and made it compliant and safe. They were responsive and talked me through everything. They are competitively priced too! Another review (plumbing services) Gill Plumbing replaced water heater expansion tanks and anode rods. Nick was thorough, professional and they’re competitively priced. Additionally, had low water pressure in only a few household faucets. Nick exhaustively investigated the issue and was able to correct. Great team! First company I’d seek out for professional services.

We first hired Gill Plumbing to replace a leaky gas valve in our fireplace. They did such a clean, professional job that we knew we could trust them with future work. So when we needed our pressure-reducing valve replaced, we called them again without hesitation. Nick and Gabriel were awesome! They showed up on time, were super friendly and respectful, and took the time to check our main water meter before replacing the valve—just to make sure the issue wasn’t with the meter. That extra care really stood out. The work was done quickly, correctly, and with attention to detail. Can’t recommend Gill Plumbing enough!

I just wanted to recommend Gill Plumbing for any plumbing issues. We had a leak in the front slab of our house, they found it very fast, fixed it and were able to reroute the leak without going through my kitchen or the floor. Nick did the majority of the work with his assistant, and did an amazing job. They were all very professional, fast, and friendly. They kept us informed on each step they were doing and finished it in two days. John also helped us find a brick mason to replace the brick in front of the house where the repair was made. This is a wonderful, very professional company, and I highly recommend it.
