What 636 Reviews Tell Us
Emergency Response
Multiple instances of missed appointments and chronic delays: one customer reported a no-show after wasting a full day, another waited 8+ hours with shifting time windows (1–6pm → 9pm), and a third had their 8am–12pm appointment repeatedly delayed through afternoon with no arrival.
Poor communication and unclear scope understanding; customer service could not confidently answer whether they could service an RV black tank, and dispatch communication was vague or absent during delays.

This company is absolutely fantastic and stands out above and beyond many others that I've dealt with. The professionalism and friendliness of this company have blown me away. This gentleman is not even out of my driveway yet, and I'm on here writing a review. This gentleman came in and assessed the situation and then broke it down, leaving me with no questions at all regarding the process and the price. He estimated the time of completion and then got to work! It's Memorial Day weekend...no crazy prices! No price gouging... no fast talk. These are the people to call. And when you've dealt with many others and you come across a group of people like this...sing their praises! Well deserved! **Thanks, Alan!! He's legit!
I should have looked at the reviews before scheduling an appointment with this company. I scheduled an appointment with this company to have my septic pumped a week ago. I checked in this morning to verify my appointment and verify they were coming out. I had already dug out the dirt to expose the lids so they can get the job done. Long story short they informed me that they were not going to make it after a wasted day keeping my schedule open for them to arrive. This isn't the first time this has happened. Last time a tech actually arrived to inform me that he had exceeded his hours and that he needed to call in to his scheduler to get off the clock. He was nice enough to explain to me how to get to the filter of the system and clean it myself. That is why I gave them a second chance. People's time IS valuable. Waste my day and I will be sure to give customers a heads up about it. Trying someone else to see if they can fulfill their appointments.
I called FloHawks at 10:35am on Monday for an urgent septic tank pumping because water in the house was draining slowly. Given a 1-6pm window which was confirmed again at 11:50am. I was told I would get an update when they were on the way or if they were delayed. I called back at 4:50pm to check on timing and was told they might be later than 6pm. I called again at 7:40pm and was told they were coming but it could be as late as 9pm. I called again at 9:05pm to ask if they were really coming out. Keep in mind that I have used virtually no water while stuck at home for the past 8 hours. The after hours call service said they would have dispatch call me soon. They didn't. I waited 30 minutes then called again. This time the person put me on hold then connected me to the "on call" person who didn't know any details but agreed that it didn't seem like anyone was coming out at the now late hour of 9:45pm. In any case, that would be rude for my neighbors. I was also told FloHawks doesn't pump after 10pm in residential neighborhoods anyway. After being told they would call me in the morning to reschedule I gave up and cancelled. FloHawks totally failed me. From other reviews, this isn't unusual. In contrast, I left a message for Sound Septic on Monday night. They called me back at 7:45am on Tuesday, scheduled a time between 4-6pm, texted at 4:03pm that they were on the way, arrived soon after, did the work, and wrapped up by 6pm. Totally professional, and lower cost the the $575 plus extras that FloHawks quoted. I would give FloHawks zero if I could.
We made an appointment today for 8-12. Late morning we were told that they would not arrive until “afternoon” but would not provide a new estimate. In the afternoon we got a call saying there was one appointment ahead of us. At 430 we received the last call we would get. “Candace” said that there was still one more person ahead of us. It’s now after 8 and we have not heard anymore from them. Maybe they have enough customers that poor service, communication, and dependability is survivable. But my husband doesn’t work at home and when a full day is taken off for the promise of a service, it’s pretty disappointing. I’m sure a friendly “thanks for your feedback” will be tagged below this comment…but considering the number of other comments that cite similar behavior it doesn’t seem sincere.
Don't call.these guys, they don't know if they can help clear an RV black tank.... Customer service wasn't sure if they could help..... It's a 2005 toy hauler , needs the Black water tank cleared out ... How hard is that to understand....
