They were able to provide service the day we needed it. Adam was very nice and explained everything well regarding our situation. He followed up with us regarding another concern.
Eaton Plumbing initially came to the house, and reviewed the problem: a leaking ballast on the the hot water heater. They came back the following week, and repaired the problem with simple and excellent results.
Water heater stopped working. Called and tech arrived in just over an hour. Was able to determine lower heating element failed. Water tank was still under warranty. Both elements were replaced at no cost to me. I only paid labor. I was very impressed with such a quick repair. I had hot water again in about an hour!
Called to have them come out and hook up my new gas grill. Called the office on Thursday, November 18th and was told the soonest someone could come out was the day after Thanksgiving. They said they would send someone Friday the 19th to see what was needed and give me a quote. I said that would be fine and if they had a cancellation please put me down. I was told that would do that. They sent someone out Friday and he took pictures and said it looked like a 3-4 hour job. I received a call on Friday, November 25th around 2:15pm (the day I was suppose to have the work done). The plumber said he was on his way to hook the grill up and asked if the pipe was already run and it just needed hook up? I told him no, they sent someone out last week and he took pictures and knew exactly what was needed. The plumber said that no one told him and he needed to make a call. He called me back 10 minutes later and said the part weren't ordered and he would not be coming. I explained to him that I had this scheduled for over a week and I was having people over for the Ohio State vs Michigan game and we were grilling out. He said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. I was very upset and called the office, they were closed the day after Thanksgiving, I told them I was very upset and I needed someone to call me first thing Monday. It's 3:20pm on Monday, November 28th and not so much as a phone call from them. So much for customer service. I will not use this company again. I have been a customer for 8 years.
Requested an estimate for some work to be done needing about a half day labor. Waited until the following week for the estimator to come. Estimator came out on Monday and said he would send the estimate within 2 days. Did not get the estimate. Called back twice. It is now the end of the week and I never got the estimate. Wasted almost two weeks of my time. Not a good experience.
We reached out to Eaton after discovering a puddle of water beneath our existing water tank. Their initial assessment led to the recommendation of a new water heater, which they promptly installed on Monday afternoon. However, by Wednesday evening, the puddle had reappeared. Despite our early Thursday morning call, they couldn’t send a technician until later due to our impending departure from town. Following their advice, we shut off the water at the main connection, only to return home to several inches of water in our finished basement that Sunday night (3 days later)—less than a week after installation and with no running water. The technician they sent on Monday made no changes and failed to follow up as promised. When we sought an update, they scheduled a supposedly more experienced technician for the next day, yet still no investigation or resolution. They acknowledged that the original drain installation was not up to code but offered no accountability for the resulting damage. Their explanation blamed high water pressure from the utility company, a backed-up drain, and a failed sump pump. Curiously, the sump pump, less than two years old, had been functioning correctly until the sudden influx of 50+ gallons of water. Why didn’t they address the drain issue earlier? In summary, Eaton Plumbing prioritized selling new equipment over proper installation and troubleshooting. Their lack of accountability left us with a water-damaged house and lost possessions. I strongly caution against hiring this company, despite their claims of values and experience.
I recently experienced a malfunctioning water heater in the middle of the night which caused basement flooding. This was obviously stressful and distressing, and required immediate professional help. Eaton Plumbing was provided to me as a recommendation from another plumbing company who was unable to provide services for at least a week. After experiencing some slight disappointment that my first call could not fix our problem, I was quickly set at ease and helped by Eaton. Their service office answered their phones immediately, even several minutes before they were set to open on a Friday morning. After a few brief questions about my current model and a check to their in-stock replacement options, Adam L. was at our door within 25 minutes to fix our problem. In 2 short hours, our water heater had been replaced and the old one hauled away. What was an emergency in the middle of the night was handled promptly, courteously, and kindly first thing in the morning, which saved the rest of our weekend plans. I would recommend Eaton Plumbing to anyone in need of immediate assistance for quick and courtesy service!
I’ve worked with Eaton Plumbing for both my business and my home, and they’ve consistently been outstanding—competent, reasonably priced, and easy to work with. That’s exactly what you want when it comes to repairs or installations. On the business side, their competitors quoted me over $3,400 more for a simple removal and installation of a 50-gallon water heater (which I had already purchased and was sitting right next to the old one). Other vendors just try to overcharge because they can—but Eaton was fair, transparent, and professional. For my home, we have a tankless water heater. Eaton actually has technicians who specialize in these systems. Several competitors admitted their techs don’t typically work on tankless units, which is risky—an inexperienced technician can cause costly damage just figuring things out. With Eaton, I had peace of mind knowing they had the right expertise. When you’re quoting your next project, I highly recommend reaching out to Eaton Plumbing. You’ll be glad companies like this still exist—your home, business, and wallet will thank you.
This is similar to another review on this site, and I thought that review could use an endorsement. I had Bert out to our house in DECEMBER to inspect and advise on our old water heater. He promised an estimate for both repairs -- if practical -- and replacement, for a similar quality unit. Bert was a nice gentlemen, but I have not TO THIS DAY ever heard back from him. Similarly with the receptionist at the office. She seems to be a very nice lady, but except for one return call, in January, to one of my three followups, it's been all crickets from her as well. I gave up long ago but thought prospective customers deserve a heads up. Edit: I just looked at my review as posted and have no idea how I got associated with San Francisco, CA. I live in Westerville, OH -- and I am not an outside agitator!
Randy came out to to replace a defective outdoor spigot and was running early and called to see if he could arrive early and unfortunately there was just no way I could make it earlier than planned today. No problem he said, he'd attempt another job and be out later. When he arrived, he assessed the situation and had it completely replaced / repaired within a half hour. He was very professional, courteous and even offered to use the parts I had purchased to repair to keep cost down. All in all, a great experience. They were recommended to me by my parents and I would not hesitate to recommend them to someone else looking for a good, reasonable plumber.
After a few disappointing searches, for a plumber who would help, I was referred to Eaton Plumbing by a friend. I needed them to fix a line leak in my basement that supplied the ice maker in my freezer, a second line leak in my basement and installation of a new line and outdoor spigot. They responded immediately to my inquiry, scheduled an appointment quickly for an estimate and then an appointment for the work. Their estimate was reasonable and the work cost what they estimated. They were professional and knowledgeable. I will use them again for my home plumbing needs! It was great to find that this type of service still exists!
Had a great experience with Eaton Plumbing replacing our shutoff valves. From start to finish, they were professional, on time, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to explain the work, made sure everything was done cleanly, and left no mess behind. The new valves are working perfectly, and you can tell the quality of the installation was top-notch. It’s not always easy to find reliable, honest service, but Eaton Plumbing definitely delivered. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for dependable plumbing work done right the first time.
I have had these guys out twice over the past couple years, the first Plumber was Ken and than Randy. Each time I called for one reason and ended up talking to them about others, only because they were so helpful and knowledgable. I am a previous business owner so I know there are three ways to run a business, customer service, low pricing or quality... pick any two, usually. These guys have fair prices, great customer service and quality. That's all I could ask for and a little more. Thanks Eaton.
Eaton Plumbing has been my go to plumbing house for years. They did not disappoint this time either. My plumber was knowledgeable as he went about fixing my toilet fill problem and also low pressure at kitchen faucet. He correctly diagnosed both supply valves as worn and found debris in my supply lines. He changed valves and blew out lines before installing new faucet. Pressure restored back to normal in kitchen sink. Thank you for your responsible service. Randy
First time dealing with a plumbing issue. Called about 5 other companies who were booking weeks out. Called this company and they had a plumber out the same afternoon. Jay came out, diagnosed the issue and fixed it all within an hour! He was right on time, called to let me know how far out he was and very professional when he got here. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber!
