I called Early Bird Plumbing to get an estimate for some plumbing issues we had and they were very courteous and got a couple technicians to my house in as soon as an hour. Mike and Skip were very professional and knowledgable about what needed to be done. They answered any questions I had with patience and kindness. They did a great job ! We are very satisfied customers and if we have future plumbing needs, we will be calling Early Bird Plumbing and asking for Mike and Skip ..

Isaiah Fox fixed a long-standing sink issue in our dental office quickly and flawlessly. It was like the problem never existed. He also gave helpful tips to prevent it from happening again. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Let me tell you how awesome this company is. Recently, Isaiah Fox replaced our shower valve. He did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, the new part was defective, which was the manufacturer's fault, not his. I informed Early Bird, and the owner Mike Chickering came out the same day to replace it. That was on a Sunday, immediately after he was attending a family event. Problem solved, no additional expenses. Weeks later, our water line and irrigation assembly needed replacing. Naturally, I called Early Bird, and requested Mike. He came out personally that very day, provided a very fair estimate, and had the job completed ahead of schedule the following day. It's the best plumbing work I've ever seen, and I worked in the Trades for ten years. The pressure is great, and the system is far more stable overall. Do yourselves a favor: call Early Bird first...like Mrs. Chickering says in the commercial, call them and "give your plumbing problems The Bird!".

Tried to charge an undisclosed 75 “consultation fee” after on site visit to quote work. Great way to lose this customer forever.

I will say that they came same day for a non-emergency. I wanted a water line run to my fridge. Original quotes in the $1800 and $2300 range. I explained that was well outside what I expected and what online said it should cost. They verbally said they would do it for $1500. Still more than I expected and I wanted time to think about so I requested the quotes (which I essentially paid for, since there is a $65 consultation fee which I was told about after making the appointment) and was told he had no way to send me the quotes. I was heavily pressured to make the appointment right there. I found another plumbing company who is doing the work, with more than EMC had said they would do, for under $1K. Will not be calling them again, and disappointed to spend $65 with not even a quote to review.

Not once, but twice in two months does Early Bird Pluming come to my rescue! I'm the property manager of a 14-unit apartment complex, in which 11 units get their water heated through a central system. The system was two giant water heater tanks that held 120 gallons of water each and weighted about 1,500+ pound filled. In early May, one of the tanks broke down and instead of storing water, was gushing water out of the tank nearly flooding the riser room where they are housed. The other tank just stopped working due to an faulty ignition error where the pilot would just not ignite the gas. I was able by sheer guess work to shut down the water and I called multiple plumbers, but none were available, seemed competent or even wanted the business. So I contacted the support number for the water tanks and they referred me to several nearby plumbing companies in Sacramento that were verified vendors. The one I picked was EMC Plumbing which is now called Early Bird Plumbing. The reason I picked them was because they had the best reviews out of the bunch. They sent a tech named Cody who was very personable and listened intently on what the issue was. After evaluating the situation and looking at the options Cody and his company provided, the best decision was to go with a tankless system. The one we decided to go with the Korean Navien brand as that's considered the best in the world. After the permitting was complete with the Sacramento city in one day, they got to work. And from the pictures attached to this review, you can just see the quality of the work and all the refitting of the pipes and fixtures that is not only functionally great but also looks great too! All this was done a within four days, which considering they retrofitted a whole new system that feeds hot water to 11 apartment units, is quite astonishing! Then just recently like yesterday as I'm writing this, one of my units had a ceiling leak and of course the plumber I contact was Early Bird and not surprisingly, all their staff was busy fixing a gas leak as good companies are always busy, but the owner Mike came out to personally help me. We found that as this apartment complex was built 10 years ago, it seemed as when they were building out the internal fixtures, one of the crew as they were screwing in a towel holder into the wall and ended up screwing into the hot water pipe too that eventually caused the leak! Fortunately, Mike was able to find this leak and got to work to fix it and it was done that day. It's rare to get one good experience with a vendor, but even more when it's twice in two months and this indicates that they are one of the best plumbing companies in the Sacramento area. I highly recommend them and with how hard it is to find an honest and competent pluming vendor, they should be your go to as well!

I had a major plumbing issues that went unnoticed until it was brought to my attention that my Utility bill had significantly increased. Like 31,000 gallons of water my last billing cycle which was hard to believe because my household doesn't use that much water. My husband did some testing around the house to see if there was a leak inside or outside and sure enough one of our toilets had a major leak and we were loosing gallons of water by the day. Called a Plumber who will remain nameless came out and didn't test anything like the water heater, water pressure or other possible leaks. Right off the back quoting $1600 to replace the water heater and to fix the inners on the toilets which we told him is what we found. Needless to say he was a waste of time and my husband and l decided we weren't going to hire him. A friend referred Early Bird and Mike came out and tested our water heater and found out it didn't need replacing just a good old flush. Our pressure valve was checked and found out the pressure was at 100+ when it should have been at least 60. Mike confirmed 2 toilets in the house were leaking and needed new inners. My husband and l decided to get all 3 toilets in the home repaired. 2 shower heads were replaced for good water flow and a bath tub nozzle was repaired that was hanging on by a loose screw from wear and tear of heavy handed adult children. And the pressure valve was replaced. Mike did a very thorough inspection that will help us save on our utilities and prevent any major damages in the long run. Very friendly and awesome customer service. I highly recommend Early Bird Plumbing.

6 months ago, Early Bird Plumbing replaced our existing tankless water heater. Since then, our service experience has been incredible! It was recommended that we have the unit descaled every six months. Right on time, I received a personal, reminder phone call to schedule the service. Our wall mounted toilet was also loose, so we included that issue in our appointment. Leading up to and on the day of the appointment I received multiple text and email reminders. On the day of the appointment, I received a personal phone call telling me the technician was on his way. I also received a text and email message with the name and photo of the technician, Isaiah. Isaiah arrived right on time. He was extremely friendly, personable, and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our toilet and reassuredly explained the solution in terms I could understand. While the water heater was being descaled, Isaiah successfully fixed the toilet. He then took me out to the water heater and explained the descaling process. Again in terms I could understand. It was clear to me, Isaiah is an experienced plumber that can be trusted. Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend that you consider calling Early Bird Plumbing for any plumbing issues.

Superb experience. We decided we needed to finally get a new water heater, and I knew we would only trust EMC Plumbing. The evaluation to come and give an estimate was the same day, and before the plumber left, we had all the estimates for variations of work that could be done, all sent to my phone. The estimates also included a cost-savings membership we purchased, that you can pay monthly or annually to get discounts and priority scheduling on services, and it includes water heater maintenance/flush every 6 months and a whole house plumbing inspection. They are completely paperless, which I appreciate--the software they use for accepting estimates and was very sleek. Once we picked the work we wanted done, they were able to come out the next day. Eric was professional and worked promptly. When he was finished, he showed me all the work he did-- we also had our watermain valve repaired and did a great job cleaning and sweeping up afterwards. The office sent an unexpected gift for our business that I thought was a classy touch! That night we enjoyed our new water heater that was long overdue for a replacement! Late this morning our tenant texted to let us know that the water heater was not working. I was referred to Early Bird Plumbing by a trusted source and Mike Chickering and his team went above and beyond to replace a 23 year old electric water heater. Because I was out of town, the office coordinated a time with our tenant directly but they also copied me so I was fully informed. Mike came out at a time in the afternoon that worked for our tenant, he assessed the situation and immediately secured a difficult to find short electric water heater. By this evening, the new heater was up and running. I was able to be a part of the process and sign and arrange payment remotely. I am so impressed with their professionalism and communication and their effort to get the job done quickly. I It is so nice to have found a great plumbing company to use again in the future and to heartily recommend to others.

I had a shower valve cartridge replaced the other day. Unfortunately, through no fault of the technician, the brand new replacement part was defective. When I informed the company of the problem, I got an appointment scheduled for service for the following Monday. However, when the owner Mike got the message, he contacted me the same day, and offered to come out himself the same afternoon. That was on a Saturday, right after he attended an event with his family. He showed up, skillfully diagnosed and repaired the problem, at no extra charge. Mike is a true professional, a credit to the industry, and a great guy as well. Rumor has it that he's an awesome bassist as well, and that's a real plus for an old rocker like me! Really folks, there's no better or more ethical team in the business.

I would highly recommend Early Bird Plumbing to anyone that needs plumbing work done. From my first call to set up the appointment, and then having the technician come to our home, the communication was fantastic. They showed up on time and were very respectful of our home. Our technician Tony, was very friendly and did a great job with explaining what they were going to do and provided us the multiple options for the job. We did not feel any pressure to go with any specific option. Tony clearly explained, and showed us the problem with our plumbing pipes. He answered all of our questions and gave us an option that we didn’t even consider that would improve our home plumbing. Overall, we’re really glad we chose Early Bird Plumbing for the work that we needed done.

Contacted EMC and was scheduled the very next morning for service. Eric arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He listened to my explanation describing the continual hot water issues and set to work figuring out the problem. After a short while he discussed his diagnosis and gave me the options for service in a clear and upfront manner. He identified a problem that no other company had over the years of having these same issues and he was able to repair it on the spot. Reasonable cost and did not have to replace the system which is what I was expecting at this point. I really appreciate his expertise and would recommend EMC plumbing to anyone. Thank you EMC!

A neighbor referred EMC Plumbing to me after she had a great experience with a small job. The owner, Mike, was very responsive. A technician was at the house within a few hours. Eric removed the damaged basin and installed my new utility sink with obvious attention to detail. Mike came by the house to talk with me about ideas for adding a half bath to the home. He is a very creative and conscientious professional. His vision will cost less and have less overall impact on this home's footprint. The cost of the utility sink install was fair.
