Great service, reputable company, and very quick! Technician was in my house assessing my dishwasher within less than 24hrs I really liked getting text reminders, having the ability to ask questions via text, and being given a description & photo of the technician before him coming to my home. This made me feel a lot more at ease. Tech was personable, very obviously knowledgeable, communicative, and honest with his recommendations. The only thing that would have made the service call better would be if Zach would have told me that it would only cost $5 to fix my dishwasher. I’m just not sure that’s a fair enough reason to knock off any stars! Thank you for the service. Highly recommend!
Steve was very prompt and courteous. He was wealth of knowledge. No up selling or bait and switch. Plain old fashioned great service. Dor Mar just got a customer for life. I highly recommend them.
Derrick was an excellent technician, He was very knowledgeable, helpful and thoughtful. I received notifications about him being on his way and he called when he pulled up to my properties. He got right to work and explained what he was doing for our service and helped educate me on improvements and deficiencies in my current H-vac system. The fact that our old equipment proved to be in better condition than I expected was a nice bonus to a practically perfect service visit. I was particularly impressed with how thoughtful and considerate he was. I also liked that he didn't try to "up-sell" me on equipment or services I hadn't paid for yet, and only provided options for improvements when I specifically asked for them. You have exceptional employees and I continue to be impressed.
Terrible service… please read Scheduled DorMar to begin work installing tube heaters oct 14th. They provided a quote that I agreed to and stated the job would take 3 days. It is oct 27th and the job is barely halfway done. Their employees showed up oct 14th and did very little other than lay out the heater on the floor. Oct 15th they got the heater mounted and connected to gas. Oct 17th a technician stopped out for an hour to hook it up to electric. Heater still needs duct work complete and thermostat installed. I called them Oct 20, 21st and the 22nd. Each time they stated “technicians will be out tomorrow to complete” technicians never showed up. I called again today the 27th and they said the same thing. I told them I want to speak to the job manager. And he will not answer my calls. Dormar has been consistently behind schedule. They didn’t even have the duct work I told them they would need when they showed up to the job. They have provided no updates or reasons for delay to me. And now the job manager will not respond to call or text. Stay away from DorMar ! Poor job management will result in delays to construction deadlines. I’m on the verge of cancelling their agreement to have an alternative company finish the work. After the review above, DorMar finally showed up and finished the job on the 28th. Although it is done I do not think much care went into the the finished product. They put single wall duct right beside the loft (pictured) during operation this gets extremely hot and if someone were to un knowingly lean against it it would scald them.
Fantastic experience with Dor-Mar! They just put in a brand new heat pump at my house and the entire experience was top-notch from start to finish. The crew was respectful of my home and the quality of work is excellent. If you need HVAC help, give them a call.
