Red flag
Repeated pricing complaints across Yelp reviews: one tech suspected of working on commission, recommending expensive replacements ($10k+) where competitors quoted $1,500; another left reviewer feeling "totally scammed" at $2,000+ for 4 hours of work
“The Dimple technician seems intent on finding an expensive part for repair or replacement of my upstair heater, (advised me to install a whole heater costing over $10,000 !). The Dipple tech spent a lots of time disassembling and assembling where as reputed companies like Corley and McGee suggested replacing only the inducer blower, at about $1500, labor & material.”

Critical
“I called Dipple to fix our heater. I described the problem in detail and suggested it might be the flame sensor in hopes that they would come with the part to fix it. The guy was apparently a new hire. He shows up two days later and goes up into the attic and the first thing he does is call someone to tell him what to do. Apparently, they couldn't figure it out over the phone so another guy shows up 15 minutes …”
“Three weeks waiting for Dipple to repair a Trane split unit they installed four years ago. No heat in the house for three weeks. Now they have decided the compressor they installed as a replacement for when it first failed in 2016 has gone bad. Poor communication, poor service, poor quality products. I am disgusted a spent $11,000 for a system that is constantly breaking down. No heat for three weeks with no …”
“We sold our house and closed on it yesterday (5/30/18). Some of the items to be repaired were electrical and we had a licensed electrician come out yesterday morning to make the repairs noted by the home inspector . An electrician from Dipple Plumbing had come out on 12/1/15 to repair a fluorescent light fixture and he recommended we have a whole house surge protector installed. The home inspector found where …”
Positive
“Mathew with Dipple was very professional and knowledgeable! He came and serviced our HvAC needs and did a fantastic job. He explained what needed to be done and the cost, which was very reasonable. He completed the job and then explained how to best run our system so it would run efficiently and effectively, as it was supposed to. Which prior to them, the original company had not fully completed our system …”
“Had a great experience with Brandon. He is knowledgeable, engaging and pays attention to details. I needed a light fixture replaced, Brandon ‘s assessment and installation were quick and efficient. He went the extra mile by patching up the holes left by the old fixture. Overall, a great and easy experience. Thanks Brandon!”
