Great first experience with this company. I prefer to hire smaller local companies. I learned that the plumber I used to use had been purchased by a larger corporation. So I got a recommendation for Cupco. They were able to respond to a sewage blockage issue in my home the same day I called. Plumber and assistant arrived on time, assessed the problem, gave me multiple options for service. They did the work efficiently, zero mess. Then the supervisor, I believe owner, arrived just to make sure the job was going well. So basically I had three plumbers addressing my issue. They cleared everything out, rodded from inside clean out to the municipal line, got the water flowing out of the house again, did a full video assessment, charged me exactly the amount quoted. Couldn't be happier. I would definitely use them again.

My sewer broke and Cupco came out and explained everything. I’m so happy with the work they did and the price. Unlike large corporations, they don’t try to get you to pay for more than needs to be done. Highly recommend!

Water supply line broke and one call and they were at my door with in a hour. Matt was very polite and professional. Explained what he had to do and about quality of work and materials needed. They worked hand in hand with Servpro clean up team and had us dry and up and running in 12 hours. Plumbing only took three hours! Highly recommend them.

I spoke with Chad on Saturday, January 24, 2026 during business hours as one of my homes in Vernon Hills had no water possibly due to frozen pipes. I paid $200 dispatch fee for a technician to come out and troubleshoot the issue. Then the technician quoted $790 to fix the issue. I politely declined the quote because my gut said it was unreasonable and I felt like I was being taken advantage of given our situation. Anyway, it turned out to be a simple fix where the heater in the utility room of the condo wasn’t placed correctly under the pipe. Tenants were able to resolve the issue within 5 minutes. I’m glad that I declined the quote for “repairs.” I don’t usually write reviews but I felt that this experience could benefit others who may be in a similar situation in the future.

I cannot recommend the Cupco team enough! I recently moved into a townhouse after living in a condo for the last 10+ years and have NO IDEA what I’m doing when it comes to most home issues! After discovering an unpleasant odor coming from my basement (which I thought might be a sewage issue) I started with another company whose recommendation was that I needed to spend $5k to “hopefully” get to the issue. I called Cupco for a second opinion and they were able to come out the next day. They spent nearly twice the amount of time diagnosing the issue and gave me the confidence that I did not actually need the work suggested. While I’m still trying to figure out the cause of my issue, I can confidently say plumbing is not the cause. What’s more, Chad was able to give me some suggestions for some non-plumbing things I might want to look at and provided me recommendations. I was a bit worried what my final bill would be after the extensive investigation work they did, but it ended up being less than the first company I called! While I hope I don’t have any new plumbing emergencies, I know that Chad and Cupco will be my first call.
